We have been so fur-tunate to have the Lynnfield Polkadog location nearby because our spoiled pup ONLY wants treats from here. It has been almost a bi-weekly occurrence for us! Not only is it an absolute joy for us pawrents to visit so often but our furbaby also has a blast getting tons of attention, scritches and treats from the staff. A huge shoutout to the lovely Chloe who has made every visit so wonderful! Thank you Chloe for being so kind to us, so knowledgeable and so sweet to Rari! Some of Rari's favorite Polkadog treats are the cod skins, green monstahs and the chicken littles! She'll literally do anything for Polkadog treats!! The cod chips are also one of her favorites but those only come in the pre-packaged bags. There is a huge selection of Polkadog treats in store available per weight or pre-packaged. We usually opt in for the per weight option because we like to pick and mix treats, control the amount and save a little bit while we're at it! If you do purchase the pre-packaged bags, you can bring back the empty bags to the store to be recycled. The store is decently sized and always very clean. They also carry other brands of pet food, accessories and toys. But we mainly gravitate toward the Polkadog brand treats (because Rari demands so)! We've noticed Polkadog treats are super high in quality with very simple ingredients. It's also a bonus that their treats are made local in Boston! The best dog treats are from Polkadog!! Stopped by hoping to get some help on dog food for a very picky eater and at least pick up some healthy snacks/treats. Brought the picky eater with us during our visit and received a very warm and attentive welcome. They had a great selection of snacks/treats and a good selection of dog food. They were kind enough to order a smaller sized bag of dog food from their seller for us and they promptly called me when it came in. I stopped by a few days later and not only did they reserve it for me with my name on it () but they remembered me and my pup from our last visit, without me having to say why I was there. You don't get this kind of attentive customer assistance anymore so it's really nice and appreciated when you receive it. I would recommend this place to any pet parent (they have a cat section too!) and I will definitely be stopping by again. read more

Polkadog is a pretty cool little place with a ton of selection. It is definitely pricey, but fun for those of us who treat their dogs like human children. The set up is cute--for most of the treats, there are little buckets you can mix and match and pay by the ounce. It definitely seems like they try to keep the treats more upscale and not Made-in-China hazardous garbage, so we come here and there to get a bag for our dogs. There is also a good selection of higher end dog food. Overall, a cute place for dog treats for those who live to spoil their doggies. read more

My picky pup is thoroughly enamored with everything we get at Polkadog. He gets (and loves!) all the Fromm varieties as well as the freeze-dried meal mixers. I really love the Polka Dog Bakery and their love of pets. They seem to have a giant variety of treats for big and small dogs. I have a small maltese who is extremely picky with only a handful of teeth left from being so old. I went in and asked which treats they have that are soft, and unfortunately they didn't have many. I opted for a bag of the peanut butter wonder nuggets and my dog won't stop eating them. He probably enjoys them more than his actual dog food. I really appreciate that they make their treats with quality ingredients, and I could actually smell the peanut butter in his treats. I went in originally to buy my dog a birthday treat, hoping they'd have cupcakes or cakes since they have the word "bakery" in their name, but I didn't find any. It's totally ok, because I found my go-to dog treats instead! I also love going in their because they allow dogs to walk around the store. I've been coming here since they 1st opened with my last fur baby Junior. Place is really nice they have all kinds of treats bones biscuits dog food lots of toys leashes collars you name it they got it. I basically go in for treats and bones. They have bones some stuffed with beef some with peanut butter they're strong they don't splinter and I have a 100LB plus German Shepherd dog with a strong bite. He loves them has hours of fun with them hides them in yard. They have some great treats Dritzy loves the a Salmon sticks and the Duck sticks also I get him molasses bits and yogurt bits he absolutely loves them I get lots of them and use them on our walks and for training. They sell the treats and bits by the pound the sticks and bones are a set price. I came to this store looking for a treat to give my friend's 15 year old dog. Brittney was so kind and answered all my questions as this dog has heart issues and her owners take great care in a clean, considerate diet for her. Brittney went over the ingredients that were included in the cupcakes, cannolis and cookies. Ultimately we chose the cookies as they don't include cream cheese filling. Of course I couldn't leave without getting a treat for my own dog; a 75 lb golden retriever who is a strong biter when it comes to toys and treats. I bought him two little bones filled with peanut butter and he has yet to break the bone and even more, he has yet to get all the peanut butter out! Definitely would recommend this store. Went in for the first time today for my pups birthday. Very friendly staff/service. They did not hover or pressure you. They have birthday cakes (i saw for $22), cupcakes, and cookies. Treats, food, and toys for dogs and cats. Convenient parking. Decided to get frozen yogurt with bacon and peanut butter, wonder nuggets with peanut butter, and chicken strips. Beyond cute little shop to accommodate all your spoiled furry friends' needs. Wandered into this shop during my last outing to the Lynnfield Marketplace and I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing cuteness that it held. There is a selection of toys, leashes, and doggie goodies. I was hoping to see some doggie clothes (yes, my puppy is that spoiled), but alas it looks like they do not carry any. The sales people were super friendly and very helpful. They were really going out of their way to assist me. They helped me pick out some great treats for my pup. Great location at the Lynnfield Marketplace with plenty of parking. I love the different items they have for dogs. My dog is a certified toy destroyer so it's hard to find things she won't destroy in hours. I find the help hit or miss here. Some people are really out going and will help you find a good toy or treat while others just sit on the phone and sigh when you want to check out. Some of the toys they've recommended haven't been as indestructible as promised but there's one line that my dog loves and can't destroy - squeaky toys like pigs, aliens and hedge hogs. Too cute and very durable. Not a fan of how expensive some of the snacks are but there is definitely a lot of variety. I go in about every two weeks and always buy something. read more

We recently went shopping at the Market Street Shopping Center and one of the places we visited was Polka Dog. The store was really nice, neat, and clean. It was visually appealing but other than that it was a disappointing visit. The 2 staff members working looked like they were so annoyed to be there. Both were stone face, they didn't greet customers, no interaction with each other. Like cutting the tension with a knife. Their attitude made me want to get out of there quickly. Polka Dog is my family's favorite stop. I love the employees at this location and they always greet my dog by his name. The employees are very knowledgeable about the dog food they sell and their dog treats. I love giving my dog treats knowing where the ingredients are coming from. I also love when the Polka Dog does special events (yappy hour, Valentine's kissing booth, dog photographer) especially because I love an excuse to take my pup anywhere! When I called to ask if they carried the dog food I was looking for they said yes and put a bag away for me which was very nice. I went to store to pick up and had questions regarding the food/amount to feed my dog including approx how long the bag will last. I have young children and wanted to buy enough for a month so I did not have to come back sooner. I explained the type of dog I was getting etc. As the customer next to me started chuckling like I was an idiot the associates only answer to my questions were "every dog is different and eats differently". Ummm the last time I owned a dog there are recommendations on feeding and associates I felt were not knowledge to any questions I had and made me feel "stupid" for asking. I had a baby with me and purchased a 30lb bag of dog food- they have no carts due to size of store/ location and I felt that the associate could of offered to help me instead of me waiting for help and then having to ask him.
