I entrusted my dog's grooming to an employee named Henry, whom I believe misled me regarding his capabilities. When giving specific instructions, Henry admitted he wasn't a professional groomer, but assured me he could handle the job even though I offered to pay a cancellation fee. He said he didn't want his time wasted and was very persistent that my dog get groomed. He said he would prep my dog for the certified groomer who would be doing the trim at the end. Upon picking up my dog, I was shocked and upset to find that she had received a full haircut instead of the requested trim, which was completely unsuitable for her breed (a woolly husky). The cut penetrated her undercoat which allows her to regulate temperature in the summer. Henry, rather than taking responsibility, argued that I had requested a haircut which was "appropriate for a husky", which is untrue. Fortunately, the groomer, Karyn, who understood the situation apologized sincerely. Upon closer inspection at home, I discovered that my dog still had matting, had a very uneven haircut, was unexpectedly covered in oil (which was not the case when I dropped her off), and her feet were still dirty,--issues Henry had claimed he would address but did not. Following my initial concerns, I had a phone call with the owner of the Dirty Doodle, which further highlighted their unprofessionalism and unwillingness to accept responsibility for the poor service. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this establishment, particularly for owners of long-haired dogs. It appears they may be better suited for grooming short-haired breeds. I had to get my dog groomed elsewhere same day.

I was able to get an appointment here for the day after I called. The outside of the shop is unassuming and the inside front has a counter and a hang out area for the pups. I dropped my girl off and let them know she hates bath time and the drier. I am always so nervous leaving her with someone new but they seemed very friendly. About an hour later I got a text saying my girl was done. They said she didn't have any issues with the water or the drier! I also had them grind her nails, and they're great. The groomer I used to use would sometimes leave a sharp edge when they did the grinding, no edge here. When I arrived to pick up my girl she was laying in the sun in the pup hang out area and had the cutest bandana and stickers! One of the best parts was being able to pay via Venmo! Hello!! I was running in between appointments and needed them to watch my dog for an extra hour and the staff were super accommodating and understanding. A bath and cut for my dog was about $120 which is an amazing and totally fair price. My dog has been having a lot of mats but the groomer did a great job at untangling and de-matting. My Scottie came back smelling fresh and looked super happy. I was told he was a good dog and had fun playing with the other pups there (which is unheard of due to his r reactive personality).
