Because my kids have skin allergies, Kate pays special attention to their hotspots and dry patches and will call me if she has any concerns. She knows exactly what to do... My kids always coming out looking and smelling their best. I used to go to a "big box" groomer and it was so loud that it stressed my kids out. My dog has been going to the business for many years. We never questioned the price and always paid along with a generous tip My dog was diagnosed with cancer at the end of May and just passed. As my dog could not take the full treatment we asked the owner since she just needed a trim is there any way we could get a trim so my dog could die in dignity. We asked this as my dog was a regular the team knew my dog and we were only looking for 20 minutes of care. The owner would not change their price even thou my dog could only stand 20 minutes for a haircut. My thoughts is people open this type of business as they care about animals. It showed to me that the owner was only interested in the money not that my dog who she knew was dying and needed a haircut My recommendation if you are looking for a good groomer I have no issues with the business. If you are looking for compassion and an owner who would work with you I would think twice. Agesist groomer. After repeated calls and filling out the intake form for my dog at All Paws on Deck I finally reached someone on the phone this morning. To my shock and dismay I was told that "due to my dog's age they would not be able to take him as a client." My dog is a sweet 15 year old pug who has never had any problems with a groomer and certainly never been turned away before. It is not as if older animals stop needing care as they age. If anything they need more care and maintenance. I'm very disappointed by this response at what seemed to be a reputable business. read more

Our family was very nervous the first few trips to any groomers. Our then puppy had had a rough start and we didn't want to leave him anywhere. We were afraid he would get hurt by other puppies or dogs by accident. The owner of All Paws on Deck, Kate, took us on a slow weekday where I could watch through the front window. Kate was very nurturing and reassuring and we felt our pup was being well cared for. Our pup now likes to visit All Paws on Deck. Kate uses top of the line shampoos and brushes. She has taught me so much about grooming at home. Our pup is so soft and clean when he is done. We all fight over him when he gets home. Kate is a wizard with clippers. Our pup looks exactly like I ask, I can get creative with my Doodle. We have a standing appointment every 6-8 weeks. I highly recommend All Paws on Deck. read more

All Paws On Deck is by far the best grooming establishment in the area. I have a Chiweenie that is very temperamental and we brought him here and they take the best care of him. Dylana works with my dog and I am always so happy with how he is taken care of. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My pup always smells good, looks great, and leaves Dylana with his tail wagging. Dylana is patient, understanding, and kind. She treats my pup like one of her own. The prices are great, the establishment is very clean, and everyone is so sweet. Would not recommend :/ While the staff was friendly and the haircut decent, what they charged to groom my 10lb dog was ridiculous. My breaking point with this business was when they texted a suggested appointment time for my dog to get groomed next, and asked to confirm or decline. Sick with Covid I did not respond. On the day of the suggested appointment they left a voicemail saying my dog missed their appointment and they'd be charging my credit card $75. They charged $75 FOR AN APPOINTMENT TIME THEY SUGGESTED AND I NEVER CONFIRMED. Looking for an explanation I texted and called the business, but never received a response. Needless to say we will not be returning and will be sharing our experience with our local doggie friends. read more

We tried a few groomers in the area before bringing our two mini golden doodles to Kate at All Paws on Deck and we have since continued bringing our pups. They really know how to cut our dogs properly, they have specialty products that we love like charcoal shampoo which makes our dogs hair so incredibly soft. They care about what ingredients they put on our fur babies and sell options for fleas and ticks that are safer. They deserve all the stars and we're very happy to continue our business with them! read more

We have a corgi, trained and well behaved. We went to this place twice. First time a woman introduced herself as the owner and was somewhat unpleasant even though it was our first time at this place. However, everything looked ok and a groomer did an "ok" job. The full package was around $100 but his paw hair between his pads was not trimmed. Second time we went in - we were in complete shock. While picking up our corgi same woman mentions casually "he was a little touchy feely on his paws, which is normal for corgis...". I was surprised at the comment, but decided not to follow up since it wasn't a question. When we got to the car, we noticed that one of his feet was super orange and after a short investigation it turned out that one of the groomers cut his foot. This was not even mentioned to us when we picked him up. When we walked back in and asked the owner about his foot, she was less than pleasant. Saying something like "I don't know why a groomer didn't mention it to you....". Even though she was right there and the first person we saw walking in and out. None of them even tried to apologize nor explain what happened. We left, called 20 minutes later because we wanted to get our tip back at least, out of principal so we left a voice message- nobody has returned our call. This place doesn't care if they hurt your pet nor do they care about providing minimal customer service. These people should never work with pets. We are definitely never going back. read more

Great business practice. I booked an appointment for my dog, gathered rabies paperwork, filled out a new client form, and showed up on the day of the appointment. When booking my appointment, I told whoever answered the phone that my dog is an American Staffordshire Terrior. I called when I was outside on the day of my appointment, only to find out this shop does not accept bully breeds. I reiterated when I arrived for my appointment, that I already spoke about the dogs breed when booking - I was told this employee did not know that AmStaff's are a bully breed. They blamed this on insurance, said they know pits are great dogs but it's an insurance thing. Time to update your discriminatory, old-school insurance policy! And train your staff on dog breeds, at the bare minimum. read more

We highly recommend this family-run groomer. The owner, Kate is an absolute perfectionist! We sent our mess of a large breed dog into All Paws on Deck for a grooming. Her thick puppy coat was matted throughout. Kate took the time to clean her up without unnecessarily shaving her. She called throughout an kept us informed of any extra time/ charges that we might incur, letting us decide which path to take. We ultimately went with her expertise and were so happy with the results. We've used her several times, plan to go back, and refer her to other pet owners.
