Doggie Depot has been the place for us to take our dog since he was born. Daycare, all day play group, grooming and boarding, and he loves it so much that he will chase their company vehicles if he see one on the street. Make reservations early because they are one if the best pet care places on the North Shore!

I took my Himalayan cat Rocco here for a lion cut and he looks great! I will go back again.

My golden retriever, Benedict, had gone to Doggie Depot nearly his whole life-baths, play dates, and overnights. He was their very first costumer and was always treated with so much love and care. We are forever grateful for the family he had away from home. We couldn't recommend The Doggie Depot enough!!! Thank you so much for everything

WOW! I couldn't be happier. I have tried out 3 different groomers in the Beverly area and this one is THE BEST - BY FAR!! The owners and groomers are SUPER and my pup looks like a IAMs doggie model. The price is right - actually, the price is better than any of the other prices I have paid. The location is perfect... drop the dog off, grab a bite in the farms... do a little shopping.... take a walk to the beach - or all of the above. Usually when I drop my lil pup off somewhere, he freaks which makes me freak... not the case here! Benny might has well have jumped out of my arms - he was clearly calm which put little miss puppy mom at complete ease. The shop is extremely clean there are insanely cute doggie clothes for sale and for all the dog daddy's out there... there's a TV right in the waiting room - so no more excuses that "the game is on - I'll drop the pup off tomorrow". New customers get $10 off - so all in all, there really is no reason you shouldn't make an appointment directly after you finish reading this.... I sound like a commercial - who gets this excited about a dog grooming salon HAHA - but, truly my experience was that great - ok, so now, there is nothing else to read... so get off yelp, call and make an appointment

Chloe, after her cut 2014/04/02

Have you ever walked out of groomer and said to yourself, "OMG, what the heck did they do to my fur!!!" Well my dog Chloe really never has since we always ask for a puppy cut (I'm guessing you can't really mess that up) but she has come out of the groomer, on occasion, and had her tail tucked between her legs because her fur was cut so short she felt naked. :) Not so at Doggie Depot. Chloe normally will yank on her leash away from the groomer once she figures out where we're going. But our trip to Doggie Depot was atypical from the moment we parked our car at the train station and walked in; she didn't want to run away even when she realized we were at the groomers. I think dogs inherently have a sense of detecting animal lovers and my guess is that she knew right away Joel (owner?) is such a person. The shop was very clean and everyone working there was super friendly. And most importantly Chloe didn't mind going there. :) I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pet groomer.

Time to take a nap, mom.

I have been looking for a cat groomer within a 10 mile radius for my cat Tigger. Little did I know that 2 1/2 miles away from Manchester was Michael. My three year cat has been brushed by me and his claws clipped by the vet. Tigger had never had a true grooming. I had some concerns he might be a bit unhappy for his first professional grooming. In a nutshell, Michael deserves the title of "Cat Whisperer", Tigger came out of Doggie Depot so layed back, smelling good, looking good and content. Can't ask for more!

I went for the first time to get my new puppy's nails trimmed. Everyone was so friendly. He did not seem scared at all. Excellent service.

My husband and I took our two basset hounds in at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, January 20 to do self washes. A worker there informed us, despite the fact we were the only customers in the store, that we could not put one dog in each of the store sinks, and that we could either wash both dogs in one sink together, or only one dog in a single sink at a time, but could not occupy two separate sinks with tow persons to wash the two dogs. I asked the worker "aren't we paying per dog"? Which of course they said we would be, but they refused to allow us to use both sinks because "it would mean the next customer who would come in would find both sinks in use use and would have to wait"! Now, I realize the person working isn't a rocket scientist, but considering how it would then take us twice as long to wash the dogs, I didn't see the negative impact one way or the other, especially since it was a feeling cold winter afternoon and the place was deserted at the time. We politely left and refused to use this store for that or any future business, and I would discourage you from using Wag N Wash in Beverly based on how rude they were to us when we were, in fact, the only customers in the store. We headed to the Natural Dog in Danvers, where their staff was very friendly and we used their self wash and the person working was very nice and we had a great experience! Wag N' Wash in Beverly was once a great place to go, and it was always busy at the self wash. I would never set foot in that place again now, and I would urge you to look elsewhere for self wash. find some more deserving business like the Natural Dog to spend your money.

Kissable Paws - after grooming

REPOST: original post was deleted…read more My boyfriend and I took Archer, our 1 year old Bernese mtn/Pitbull mix to Kissable Paws July 9th for the first time. Right off the bat, Maria (the owner) was patient with us as Archer would not go inside. I came in to tell her that we would just cancel the appointment as there was no way we can get him in. Maria came outside and tried everything she could to get him in. But with no luck. Archer did like her so that was a good thing. We were recommended to give him a calming meds and rescheduled for the following week. Prior to Kissable Paws, we were taking Archer to Petco for his grooming needs. The last few times were not successful as Archer was more than scared like he was terrified to go inside like something bad had happened. So glad we found Kissable Paws, Maria and her assistant Julia. They are the most patient people and I'm glad that Archer is comfortable with them! Our second try was every bit successful! Maria was ready and she got Archer inside. He saw that there was nothing to be scared of and he got so excited, he just wanted to go in the waiting area with the other cute doggies! As for the grooming itself, Maria has a lot of experience taking care of difficult dogs that other groomers simply reject. She was able to wash him, cut his nails, dry him and trim him (in places other groomers couldn't!) Maria and Julia took care of Archer in a loving and patient way that my boyfriend and I truly appreciated. Kissable Paws is definitely our exclusive grooming salon! Will 100% recommend them to everyone we know with doggies and cats (which we will definitely have to come in and bring them one of these days) :)

I spent last month in NC with my dogs, and while I was there I got his nails done and they barely cut them at all! Most of his nails are clear and his quicks aren't that long so I'm not sure why there was such a difference between the results, but we went back to Kissable Paws two days ago and his nails are back to their normal length now. We were also in and out in under 10 minute which was great.

She is a sweet pup who didn't deserve this. Unfortunately, due to their lack of concern/effort to give us any information, I need to write a negative review; and that's to inform others so they can choose to avoid this business and protect their dogs. I was told at drop off they were short staffed. This is probably part of the safety issue which could have caused my dog's injury to happen. I picked up my dog and was told they did not finish her grooming/excess shedding treatment because she was really nervous with the high velocity dryer (last visit they were able to finish and dry her completely). The owner brought my dog to me still damp and shedding. I was understanding, I paid the full price even though it was not full treatment. I did not notice anything amiss until I got home and my husband saw her eye was completely blood shot and swollen. We brought her to urgent care vet immediately after being unable to reach DOGSPA over the phone to inquire what happened. They surmised she had a strangulation injury causing a hemorrhage in her eye. My dog was sore and stiff all over the next day, barely getting up from her bed, and limping/sore for days after. Business owner did not call back for a couple days, and left a voicemail saying something along the lines of "your dog was fine when she left with your wife!" We have called and left multiple voicemails since and cannot get a call back. It has been weeks. We are understanding that accidents happen, but the failure to disclose what happened or simply look into what happened is unsettling. I would not recommend anyone bring their dog here. There is no proper action, communication, or basic empathy from their end.

As I listened to their suggestions, I was impressed with their level of knowledge and care for all their customers. They seem to offer a wide variety of foods, toys, grooming supplies, and collars/leashes. I also saw on their social media pages that they have a mobile grooming salon! I believe I read they have an upcoming nail clip for cats and dogs and are donating the $15 to local animal rescues for pets in need. I thought that was so classy, philanthropic and kind. Any business that gives back gets 5-stars in my book.
