So, a review: Five stars for pets hotel/play dates! My dog loves them. Tail wiggles and lots of kisses on the way there, fond farewells on the way out. I snuck in once only to see him cuddling with the caregiver during afternoon nap time. I love the attention, care and professionalism of all staff. And the few times we had to leave him at the hotel, he seemed that he didn't want to come back with us A special shoutout to Hannah, his trainer. She is his favorite human ever, and loves seeing her. Yorkies are super smart dogs, sometimes challenging to train. We started with puppy classes when he was only 5 months old with Chris (who is not there any more) and continued with Hannah. What an amazing individual! She gained his trust right away and taught us (humans) how to better communicate and work with him. When we were away, we book some one-on-one training with her too; keeping the dog both entertained and engaged is important! Three stars for grooming. I don't have a favorite groomer, but a couple of times his nails are overtrimmed and he is really scared going in there grooming salon... Three stars for the store. Nothing special. Overall... we are enthusiastic fans of the petshotel. Thank you to all there for great experiences!!

Very easy to get to as long as you're not driving during Somerville rush hours Parking: street parking but it is very easy to find a spot nearby as long as you don't plan on spending 2+ hours there Selection: great selection in fish and aquatic plants as well as decorations and underwater pet needs! They even have axolotl! I don't know what they carry for small furry pets and the ones with feathers as that was in a separate room with birds and im highly afraid of them. Also I'm positive if they don't carry it and if feasibly they will help get it. Price: very reasonable prices! We got a little shrimp (crystal), trumpet snail and got the whole set up (glass bowl, two aquatic plants, a spider branch, net, water treatment, gravel) for a little under $100. Highly highly recommend this store than your chain pet stores *cougg*. I can't say enough how helpful Armand was and how patient he was with us!

It's an absolute ripoff, and I wouldn't go here if I had any other option to give my dog a bath when it's too cold to do outside. The place is also increasingly dingy and depressing, with no basic maintenance or upkeep. The walls and ceiling clearly have not been cleaned or painted this millennium.

Upon arrival, the associate efficiently documented their information and weight. Petco offers a variety of tailored vaccination packages for cats and dogs, and I was provided with a comprehensive overview of these options and their associated costs. I selected a package that met my budgetary requirements, and the checkout process was transparent with no unexpected fees. The veterinary team demonstrated excellent care while conducting thorough examinations and administering the necessary vaccinations. The total cost of two hundred dollars for both kittens was a worthwhile investment. Given the professional service, I plan to return for their annual wellness examinations. I highly recommend Petco's veterinary services, noting that this specific location offers these appointments exclusively on weekends.

I'd been to another Petco and pet store, and I was happy to find this location had the largest variety of plants, decor, shrimp, and snails. When I went, they didn't seem to have many guppies (at least I wasn't shown them), and they didn't have any endler guppies at all (healthier less inbred than regular guppies). I ended up getting a few different plants and so far they seem to be doing fine. The staff member/aquarist Grace was very knowledgeable and friendly. She patiently answered all my questions, and I could tell she was passionate about taking care of the fish and plants. I separately had placed an order online for pick up, and she forgot to include an item, but I managed to get a refund on the product. Overall, I think this place has many strengths in having a variety of aquarium and plant supplies, plenty of live plants and snails, different colored shrimp, and seemingly every other fish except endlers. The staff I interacted with were friendly and very helpful. I thought the place was as clean as it could be although there's definitely a strong pet smell. If you order pick up, double check all your items are there.

The organization, however, is extremely unprofessional and I urge caution if you're thinking of sending your dog here. The Wilmington location closed today on 0 days notice due to lease issues, and as of yesterday the staff were assured the location was staying open, despite an unscheduled closure last week due to the same issues. To my understanding, they found out today that they were out of a job, with no advance notice. I strongly recommend avoiding any of the Boston Dog Company locations if this is how they run their business. It's not worth getting your dog used to coming to a daycare that could close at literally any time. In hindsight, I looked further into their 'awards' from US Pet Review, and found that USPR appears to be nothing more than a blog that exists only to give awards to Boston Dog Company. I see no evidence to suggest that it is a real industry magazine, or that it has any objectivity. Again, if you are looking for a dog daycare, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The main guy helping customers was very knowledgeable and answered my numerous questions about setting up an aquarium with plants, invertebrates, and fish. This is more of a review of the other ignorant reviews here. Folks writing 1 star reviews are being overly dramatic. They claim the tanks are dirty and "full of algae"(?). Algae growth is a sign of healthy tank water. I would worry if the tanks looked sterile. In the aquarium hobby sterility kills. The other pets may look "miserable" because they were rescued but you didn't bother to inquire about that, did you? Confront the owner first, then write your review. Seeing mature and well cycled tanks with plants and a bit of algae is always a good sign in a fish store and if the water is good for the cat to drink, it must be good for you as well. Someone even suggested the owners should "wash their cat". Do they even know how cats WORK? Those who scrub their tanks, end up busy fishing out corpses the next day and I'm sorry to say, if you put in your tank a fish that has been swimming in the store tank for weeks and it dies the next day in your tank, it's ON YOU for improper acclimation or wrong water parameters. Having good test results doesn't mean that other parameters like water hardness and temperature check out. Most fish I bought there had no issues. Occasional fish death and illness can be random but can't be blamed on the person who just sells them.
