Daniella is the only groomer there so she personally takes care of each dog from beginning to end. I explained all that had happened in the past and she was super understanding, texted and kept me updated throughout the service until the end plus my doggie looked so fluffy, cute and well groomed! I no longer trust Crate Escape to care for my dog…read more Our dog had gone to the Crate Escape since he'd had his shots. He was well cared-for, and enjoyed going there. The last few times we brought him there, the staff was clearly under-trained and awkward with him. After one pickup, we noticed a nasty abrasion on his skin with some bleeding. I got an "oh gosh, we didn't notice that", and a followup phone call that meant nothing. They have switched to an online booking system that's poorly designed and a pain to use, very different from the days when you'd just call and make a reservation. I strongly recommend avoiding these folks. They used to be great. I would have gone out of my way to bring in more customers for them back then; all the good will is gone.

When I provided feedback to the owner she got defensive said the service is between 45min to 2 hours and said good luck. she was not even open to hear feedback for her poorly managed company. when You work, you need to plan when your dog should go out not that right after you come back from walk you see someone is there to pick him up. We originally had our first dog Casey start back in 2011. We loved the original daycare and we still very much love Country Canine Retreat with our 2nd dog, Dolly. Dolly is a rescue and had some baggage come with her at 4 months old in 2016 (or so). She has some sass, she's a bit bossy, loves her cuddle time, belly rubs and has enough energy to keep the lights on at the Boston Garden and Patriot's Place! The staff has done an excellent job keeping her busy, entertained, engaged throughout the 5 days a week. She plays with several dogs throughout the day. She loves CCR, recognizes all the staff and comes home sometimes with even more energy at (almost) 11 years old. By Friday, she is one tired happy dog. I love talking with the staff and owner. They are kind, considerate, knowledgeable. I trust them completely. I cannot imagine Dolly going anywhere else.

When our first dog got old, there was a point when they recommended we don't board her. We ended up changing our vacation to bring her with us instead. Not only did we get more quality time with her, but we gained the confidence that our kennel cared about her. Over the years they have reliably fed special diets, medications, and dealt with psychological quirks that a couple of our rescued dogs have had. Our dogs go in happily and come back happily. They have always been healthy in return, which i credit to their strict vaccination policy and quality kibble. - photo is not from the kennel, just dog tax :)

We were boarding our morkie here for nearly 12 years due to its close proximity. Despite the staff being extremely rude and unfriendly, our dog appeared generally happy during short 2-3 day stays. However, we noticed that during longer stays, her feet were usually soiled and hair was matted with a foul odor. We immediately moved her to a more cleanly kennel for long periods of boarding. Additionally, when she was about 14.5 years old, the owner abruptly refused to continue boarding her for short stays simply stating in a very crass manner that she was too old without providing any explanation for this conclusion. Overall, the staff are extremely unprofessional and have little care for their boarders.

They care for a large number of dogs each day with great space both outside and inside. And even with the many Black Labs they have, they always greet her by name. A very long overdue update & review, but better late than never!…read more After planning a trip out of the country, my "dog sitter" backed out at the last minute. And who to the rescue?! Rich and Marissa! Sadly, there is not an overnight option. However, I was gone for 6 days, and as promised, they were there early in the morning, again in the afternoon, and yet AGAIN late night to take care of my pup. When I say "take care", I don't mean it lightly! I came home to a diary of visit entries FROM EVERY VISIT--for SIX DAYS! Clearly, the proof was in the pudding as their visits were more than just a quick walk--but love, affection, play time, and attention. MY NEIGHBORS--even those I've never met, stopped me when I came home to say how happy my dog was when outside with Rich and Marissa, big smiles, tail wagging, etc. They all attested to the dedication of time put in by Paw Pals & how fantastic they were with my Naija. And, in each documentation, they were honest & sincere, and you could tell how much they love what they do each and every minute. I never once felt as though this was a burden or tribulation for them. True professionals--and good good people. I came home to the happiest I've seen my pup since I've had her! Not one ounce of resentment that I was gone! Also, I should mention--I have a special needs (three-legged) pit-bull, who suffers from the myriad of stereotypes! Boy did Paw Pals prove each one wrong! Their expertise in ALL breeds & "thinking out of the box" with my special needs pup shone through day in and day out while I was gone. Vitamins, food, appropriate exercise and down time was documented by both them AND the nosey nellies in my neighborhood. I can't praise them enough. I can't hire them enough. I can't appreciate them enough! This is the real deal--l couldn't take care of Naija better myself! I can't wait for their next visit! Keep your calendar open! Naija is anxiously waiting!!

I called the number numerous times and no answer. I find it to be very unprofessional not to notify me they needed to cancel my appointment. I delayed my trip because they only do nail trims between 1 and 2pm and it was all for nothing. Also the nail trims weren't even very good. My dogs nails were very long just a week after the trim. I suggest looking elsewhere if you're looking for a groomer.
