First time I've had someone go the extra step of applying cotton w/ lotion on my heels while I'm getting my manicure. My feet felt extra soft. The lovely gentleman who did my nails was quick but a perfectionist. He repaired a break in one of my natural nails before giving me a great no chip. (I like my nails short.) I have intended to submit this review for some time but neglected to do so until now. I brought my two daughters, aged 6 and 4, to this place, having previously seen that they offered princess chairs on their website. Upon calling to schedule an appointment, I explicitly mentioned that I was making reservations for both of my daughters and requested the use of the princess chairs. However, upon our arrival, the owner, Jiajia, began attending to my oldest daughter in a standard chair. I informed the receptionist that I had specifically requested the princess chairs, which my daughters were very excited about. The receptionist indicated she would consult with the owner. Subsequently, Jiajia responded by shaking her head, indicating a refusal, all while I was present, pretty much in front of me. Unfortunately, both nail technicians proceeded to attend to my daughters in regular chairs, leading to significant disappointment for both children. This experience exemplified a lack of consideration and professionalism on the part of the owner. Additionally, I have encountered similar reports of unsatisfactory customer service from this place from several individuals within my community, including myself, all saying that the owner of this place is very rude. read more

I wanted to do something special with my niece for her 6th birthday so we went for mani/pedis at polished nail bar. She LOVED the butterfly chairs and the woman assisting us/painting her nails was so friendly and patient with my niece. She got full service; salt scrub, lotion, hot towel, etc. I also felt completely safe with their covid protocols. We were asked to wash our hands as soon as we entered, you're not allowed to touch the polish bottles (just point to which one you want), and they sanitized the seats in between customers. We had an excellent experience here. I came with my husband and four year old daughter. They were great with all of us. There was friendly chatter about childcare and kids' antics by the employees working on us grown ups. The woman working with my daughter could not have been more professional and kind with her. My daughter asked a million questions (this was her first pedicure) and she patiently answered each one. For the kiddos, they do chair-side manicures, so my daughter was able to stay in the comfy pedicure chair while her nails were done. The kids' pedicure chairs are big enough for bigger kids (kids pricing up to 12 years old), but they also have large fluffy pillows to put behind smaller kids. The actual final product looked great. Everyone's nails looked fantastic and we all left feeling relaxed. The atmosphere in here is wonderfully girly, but not over the top. Lots of black, white, and pink, with crystal chandeliers. They except credit cards, but tipping is cash only. They have a huge selection of polish colors. read more

I have been coming to Polished Nail Bar for almost two years now, and I can honestly say I've NEVER been disappointed. JJ and everyone there takes their time doing your nails, making sure your manicure always looks amazing! Not only that, but their no-chip manicures have lasted 3-4 weeks. They have always been extremely clean, but with COVID, they have taken extra precautions to protect their clients and themselves. In addition, I've always loved that they are appointment only because I know I won't have to wait long. Last but not least, I always feel welcome here. I go into each appointment knowing I'll have a great experience as well as a wonderful conversation. I had to find a new nail salon after 17 yrs at the same place, that unfortunately closed due to Covid. So my daughter & her girlfriend tried Polished nail-bar & said I would like it there. I came by for a gel-mani and pedi and love this nail salon! The staff I think are the friendliest I've met of all the salons I've ever been to. Besides the awesome staff they have so much going for them, starting with a good selection of colors and types of nail polish. They also conveniently have the colors painted on sample nails which is so much easier to see how it would look on your own nail. For the pedicures they have massage chairs that you can change the controls, oh my gosh so comfy! And they also give a short leg and foot massage as well. And the scrub they use on your legs smells amazing. Be sure to schedule an appointment beforehand as they can get busy, especially before holidays and breaks. I went in to book an appointment and the person taking appointments was super rude. The menu said mani, pedi, and no chip mani pedi. No mention of gel / shellac anywhere at all so I double checked... "no chip means gel correct?" And her response was to look at me like I was an idiot for clarifying and snobbish say "uh yeah that's what no chip means..." OK last I checked there are no chip top coats so drop the attitude... I'm in the service industry and tip VERY well because of this. But never have I treated a client as though they were an inch tall. I won't be dropping a cent at this establishment. Just yikes. Hopefully this was just an off day but it seems like there's review after review about the staff's attitudes. Can't speak to their actual nail work because I won't be letting it get that far but service from the start without a rude attitude is a definite expectation. read more

I took my mother to get a mani/pedi at PNB and they did a fantastic job. My mother is 90, lives in a nearby independent living facility, and is losing her memory. JJ took such meticulous care of her with her thick nails and sometimes challenging ways. I was touched by how JJ managed my mom and the beautiful job she did -- no need for me to intervene. JJ's husband did mine and it has lasted forever. He was a really great guy who made it so comfortable and relaxing. I don't live that close but I'd go back any day of the week. read more

I've been a customer here for years- great place, all technicians do a wonderful job at manicures, pedicures, and gel polish They were closed for 2 months earlier this year due to COVID, but have come back strong, implementing safety procedures such as masks required, go directly to back of salon to wash hands as soon as you arrive, don't touch polish bottles (technician will help you), they're temporarily not allowing friends/guests not also getting services (reduces traffic in the salon). Feel very safe and as always get fabulous results and very courteous service NOTE: make an appointment! Keeps control of traffic, they're generally always booked for the current day but will find you an appointment soon- less traffic in the salon without walk-ins waiting Great place and wonderful service! read more
