Came for a scheduled appointment and walked into an unwelcoming room of fully booked nail techs. To me, a warm welcoming greeting is the bare minimum for a nail salon. Once I picked my color, I waited around standing, for them to tell me to have a seat. It was 10 min past my appointment time at that point and I mentioned this and was told to have a seat again. It is such a red flag to over book appointments like that so at that point I just walked out and was able to get in immediately by LA Nails with that warm greeting I look for. Can't believe I wasted 10 minutes inside this place but never again. The atmosphere was very dead inside whereas at LA Nails it was lively inside. read more

Vinny took me in, he was pretty prompt about taking me in, I didn't wait for too long. He asked me what I wanted and I showed him a picture. It was my first time getting my nails done so I wasn't sure what was going on, he sat me down and just started. My nails are super cute, it's been a week and a half and they're still going strong. They had many colors but I did a French ombré with butterflies on one nail. Complete waste of money and time. I had to wait at least 40 minutes before I was seated in the chair. Plus I could do the same kind of manicure myself, and would probably do a better job. I had to do a photoshoot that day, but with this manicure it became absolutely impossible. Pedicure was a tad better though, but not much. I had an excellent experience as a walk-in today at Q's Nails when I dropped my dog to get groomed next door. My tech was Amy - and she is AWESOME! She took her time and really paid attention to detail; which I appreciate. She gave me a bottle of water at the start, and was so sweet. I got a pedicure and a no-chip manicure with soak-off. She also glued a broken nail for me. It was $55, and she did a knock-out job. She soaked my gels off while I got my pedicure, and she did the oil and plastic wrap when I left for my toes. Observations: --They have an excellent color selection. They have more matching no-chip+regular polish sets than any salon I've ever been to. GREAT colors. --I was lucky I walked in when I did at 11:10am - by 12pm they were packed and had several folks waiting. I will definitely make an appt next time so I can see Amy again. --Several women got waxed (brows & lip) while I was being serviced. Horrible service. Don't waste your money or time here. Decided to give them a chance and they were INCREDIBLY RUDE. I asked for a simple white acrylic nail and The man doing my nails insisted that he could not do it. He has a horrible attitude and didn't apply my nails correctly at all. He ended up refusing to continue doing my nails and left me to go do someone's pedicure. a lady took over my nails. She also had a bad attitude but got the job done. The nails were not shaped correctly, the base application was weak, and the 2 workers I dealt with were extremely rude. Worst $40 I ever spent. Less than 48 hours after leaving the salon a nail broke easily and is now causing me extreme pain, mind you I get acrylics done every month and haven't broken a nail in almost a year so I could tell it was from poor quality application. My girlfriend also got a manicure with a simple clear coat and each nail peeled off THE SAME DAY. Wish I could give 0 stars instead of one. never coming back here, hope this helps someone, don't waste your time or money here read more

Would not recommend at all. Rushed the entire process. Another lady was taking care of me and seems like manager took over. Lady had brought water for my acrylic nails to soak in. Guy did not let me do that and broke my nails entirely. When cutting the nails to file, didn't ask how long or short I wanted just cut. When filing not even filed properly have to go home and fix it up. Awful place and would not recommend unless you want to waste money and be treated awful. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! read more

I walked in for a plain manicure no polish without an appointment. They took me right away which is why I gave two stars or else would have been zero or one star. I didn't want pedicure but I usually don't do polish at all but manicure I have to get it done cause my cuticles can be really bad. This lady not sure her name but she was petite body wearing pink shirt with glasses was in a RUSH to get done with me because I said no to pedicure. The way she cleaned the cuticles gave me bruises and I am in pain right now! I went to get cuticles clean instead she gave me blood chipped skin. When after done with cleaning cuticles these two ladies walked in for mani/pedi, OMG, her speed got even FASTER! She barely filed my nails or put on lotion on my hand; within 2 mins after that walk in she rushed me out!! WORSE SERVICE!! I would have definitely made this place my regular cause it's by my house BUT never again! Everyone has their own preference and NOT everyone wants to get $50/100 nails! So if you are in service business LEARN TO TREAT every BIG or SMALL customer the same way!! Mind you, in-spite of BAD service I still tipped that lady $5 even though she barely deserved it! read more

I needed a fill so I called them, I saw they closed at 7:30 on yelp. The lady who answered the phone said I could come at 7pm, so when I arrived the salon was packed and I was asked if I could wait and I said no problem! They are VERY sweet and nice! I sat with Bobby! He is the sweetest man ever! He knew exactly what I wanted for my nail shape and he chose a color for me and I loved it! I got a fill with no chip. He took his time and always asked me if I liked my nails. It was after 8pm when I left and they still took someone else! I didn't feel rushed at all and they made you feel relaxed! I found my nail salon! I'll be back when i need a fill. Update: I've been going here every 2 weeks and the only people that are amazing is Angie and bobby!!! I got a no chip mani recently with some other lady, horrible job... so now I know that I won't go to her. My nails have been cracking and chipping! I went here just to get a fill. While I was there when the girl was using the Drexel sander she says "oh no I'm so sorry". She had cut my skin on the side of my left thumb nail. Within 4 days I was at immediate care with a horrible infection. I ended up having to have my thumb lanced and having to be put on 2 different antibiotics. Be careful when you go here! read more

Love Q's Nails. They are quick to take you if you make an appointment and are honest about how long you will have to wait if you decide to walk in. Angie does really great wax work. Favorite place for nails. Love Nancy. She knows her customers and remembers what you had done and colors you loved. The staff is nice. This is the only nail salon in the area that I've been to that brings you bottled water when you come in. Also, around Christmas time, they give lotion/ gifts to their loyal customers.
