You may know that I frequent Club Pilates...Happy Hands Nails is right next door. I liked that I was able to book an online appointment, and that there were a lot of times available. I also liked that the salon seemed bright with lots of stations. Also a plus, Dazzle Dry manicures were available. A basic mani is $21, with an additional charge of $10 for Dazzle Dry. These prices are in line with what I've experienced. They asked me if I needed my brows done. I said no. They asked me again. Again, no. I am familiar with Dazzle Dry manicures. I also have the products at home. The polish remover was not Dazzle Dry. Neither was coat #1 a branded DD product. I know the polish was DD, because it was on the label. I could see the top coat was DD. The tech rather roughly removed polish with the non-DD remover. Then she left to do a pedicure. Another tech took her place to complete the manicure. She asked me if I wanted my brows done. No. She repeated the question. I started to feel quite self-conscious. Do I have a Frida monobrow? Eugene Levy brows? My nails look nice and I was overall pleased with the service. read more

This is a fresh, modern and clean salon. Prices are in line with salons in the area. Very nice selection of nail services, broad range of colors. I followed Lee from her old salon because she is wonderful. The chairs at the drying are not comfortable and there are no TVs. I like that but not everyone does. There is a peaceful, calm vibe here. This isn't my normal nail salon but I have been here once or twice. I'm not driving at the time, and was already in the area so I decided to see if they had any availability. They were able to take me right away. It was later Friday morning and only a couple other clients were there. The woman doing my nails was quiet but nice and very thorough. She took her time making sure my nails looked just right, Most of my nails were still shaped from my manicure elsewhere, a few had been cut off though, and she did a great job adding small nail extensions to make them all even rather than just cutting them down. Just stopped in to get my nails done for vacation, never been here before so I thought I would give it a try. I was only here for a pedicure. their pedicures start at $35. You only get a mild exfoliation no callous removals, $35. They were not very busy and I asked if I could sit in the water for a few minutes twice and she said yes and then about 2 minutes later started. While trimming my toenails, she cut my nail too low and I bled and painful. I left, ridiculous, do not recommend. read more

Maybe my 4th time at this salon because it's convenient. This time i went for a pedicure without polish. $41 for a shiny buff. Consistent subpar results. I get the impression there are a few good nail techs here but if you don't specify you get someone who can't align the polish correctly on your toes or nails. This time i decided to skip polish and got up charged for a shiny buff. Also, the woman stabbed me with some random old unsanitized tool as she was trying to puncture the bag on the spa to drain the water. Not worth the price overall. read more

I went on a Monday to fix two broken nails cause my normal place was closed. Only gave a 1 star cause of atmosphere. Very relaxing but I immediately questioned that when they started my nails. I matched exact shade of powder and started. They didn't listen at all. The shape was totally off from all my other nails. VERY CROOKED to say the least. Used a fake nail way too big for my index finger. Thumb was so misshapen. Didn't even remove broken gel bits, just took the lazy way. When it finally came time for the color they told me "they could not find it in the store" even though I walked in an hour ago and started the whole process. I felt like I was totally thrown out since it was my first time there. The no chip bubbled and peeled after TWO DAYS. IM SORRY WHAT did you paint my nails with? Honestly I looked over at the girl next to me a saw how gaudy and bubbly the first layer looked and was concerned. If you want sleek gel/acrylic nails this isn't it. The nail tech named Amy was SO RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I came back to the salon because 4 of the nails she did had chipped . It's not the actual nails chipping it was the polish over it that did so I knew it was something they had to fix because it was the polish that had a problem and not my doing. After Amy put the top coat I had asked her so respectfully and with a quiet voice , if I could put the nails stickers (which I had done the first time she did my nails ) in to which she responded ," I'm not gonna wait for you , you put the final top coat." And she said it with an attitude. I couldn't believe what I heard and I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. Don't ever get your nails done by her. If something's happen and her work needs to be redoing , she'll give you an attitude and less of a service. Nobody apologized to me for the bad behavior and service! read more

This is a no thrills type place and I absolutely love it. Ive been here a few times now and have had zero issues. All the girls are super polite and detailed with their work. I usually get a mani (no chip) and a pedi. The mani no chip lasted 3 weeks with only minor chipping towards the end of 3 weeks. When I go to get my nail polish off they soaked them while they did my pedi which I loved; no grinding needed and came right off. Thanks for another beautiful mani and pedi! read more

Supposed long last nail polish that came with an up charge didn't even make it 24 hours before chipping.

They do a good job but they up charge for every little thing, prices are not consistent and not posted anywhere including online. Simple things that I have never gotten charged extra for at any other salon such as adding an accent nail with something simple like using a matte finish instead of glossy for one nail on each hand or using two colors with no design. When I asked for the prices of the services they offered the owner said to just text her what I want and she will give me the price...very unprofessional. I also had someone other that Lee do my nails once when she was not available and they did an absolutely horrible job, each nail was crooked, uneven and the nail polish was not evenly painted. Such a great place! All of the technicians are super friendly and do really good work. Nancy was extremely professional, clean, and an inspiring artist! She took her time to do the design I wanted based on an example they had in the shop, she genuinely enjoyed doing it & creating a new design, I love the colors as well. I just left this place. She put on three coats and it started to bubble and still wasn't dry after 15 minutes. When I showed her, she said they weren't dry and ignored me when I said the polish was put on too thick. No oil , no hot towel, and bad attitude. read more

This is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate you. They are super gentle when it comes to cutting your cuticles (which is big for me) and it never hurts but looks great. Whenever I get a pedicure or no-chip manicure, it lasts me weeks! The environment is very clean and there are precautions because of covid. They typically accept walk-ins depending on the service you are getting. After coming here for years, I really haven't found a better place and this place consistently does a great job! I had Chi work on my nails and she's absolutely amazing. Went here for a gel manicure 6 days ago. I was in a rush so I didn't pay too much attention to the quality of the manicure until after I left. My mistake. It was pretty straightforward manicure and simple light pink color. Honestly, if I did it myself, it would look way more polished. I don't even feel comfortable taking a photo of it. 6 days later, one nail is missing half the color after I was told it would least at least 2 weeks. I'm so disappointed as I wanted to like this place since it's so close to my house. I never really do reviews but I think this one just needs to. I called prior on a Sundays morning to see if there was an availability for a pedicure. I was told come in at 3:30pm ( 1hr later) I went in for a pedicure, time to pamper myself, plus one of my toe nails was pretty long and almost felt like it was going in the skin. Usually, this is 95% fixed when I get a pedicure. A child greeted me and told me to pick a color. I thought that was cute her kid helping out. After, a couple of minutes of trying to wait I was seated by a her daughter at the pedicure chair. Upon soaking my feet In water for what seemed to be 20 mins, I get a young teenage girl about to start my feet I was guessing till the other lady was done with her previous client. But that didn't happen. I was asked a lot of questions which didn't bother me as I have teen children too. The other woman did not come to check on her daughter as well as to come check on the sensitive area I was having when I asked. The young lady was pushing my cuticles so hard and I let her know. She apologized. I understood She was still learning. What she should have had was her mother or someone check afterwards. I was already seeing the inconsistencies and the owners younger daughter came to pester the young teen working on me. The owner said nothing and allow her to fight and argue with the teen while working on my feet. Mind you, I been to this location before multiple times with no problem. I asked about how long her mom owns this place and the teen said three months. She was a very bright young lady no disrespecting this was not her fault. Also, said this is not something she wants to do. Upon waiting for someone to come and check, I had been there almost 3 hrs just for a pedicure. Finally the older lady who was the grandma I believe came and I explained to her I needed her to check the corner area which she did and usually it never hurts this time it did and she made me bleed around both my toes. She applied some brown antibacterial liquid. So initially I thought everything was going to be good. Wrong my toes swelled. The left toe had been filed and trimmed beyond the line you are not supposed to pass. The right toe is severely swollen and cut so far deep. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning here. It was very un professional recently and if they allowed the kids handle things without observing then I probably won't be the first one disappointed. read more

I am on the hunt for a nail salon that I would like to visit regularly for pedicures. This place is my second attempt at finding my pedicure "home." Unfortunately my first visit will be my last. Here are the pros and cons. Pro Friendly staff. New and clean. Nice massage chairs. Covers on pedicure tubs. Option of lotion scent. Pedicure itself was nice. Con Package pricing on word document spread sheet which is also written all over. (If you are going to go for a high scale feel at least have a nice laminated easy to read price list). $28 for pedicure(most places $25). Limited regular polish options. Regular polish not clearly separated from gel polish on shelf, don't confuse the two because there's a $3 up charge. My appointment was for 6:30, didn't get into the chair (even though there were open chairs available) until 7. Pedicure began at 7:30. Although staff was friendly no apology for my late appointment until the pedicure began at 7:30. Sally Hansen fast dry top coat. I put this as a con because most places use seche vite top coat which is a very nice, shiny, fast drying and long lasting top coat. I know this place is new so I do hope my constructive criticism helps your business to flourish in the future. My first time at this nail shop and it was such a great relaxing experience that this is now my go to nail salon. The man who greeted me at the door is very nice and helpful. The ladies who did my no chip manicure and pedicure did an excellent job. They were friendly and very nice ladies. They did not rush, and always asked if I was comfortable and if everything was okay. They filed my nails exactly how I wanted them and made sure that the buffing, filing was perfect before polishing. Also, when they massage your hands and feet they don't rush like most nail salons do. This place just opened up a month ago. It's very clean and the ambience is very relaxing. They have a nice selection of regular polish, no chip, and dipping powder. The parking is great since it's the village crossing mall. Totally recommend. My nails were all long and she cut them different lengths which meant she had to cut them all super short when I said something.
