Here's an updated PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. I decided to give this place a chance anyway, and I seriously regret it because they completely messed up my nails. First, I called to make an appointment for three people. They asked what kind of nails we wanted and told me to send our nail inspiration pictures so they could decide which nail tech would be the best fit. I sent everything, but they never texted me back. When I arrived, they sat me with a lady named Vivian (or something similar). She immediately pulled out Gel-X nail tips. I told her, "No, I want acrylic nails." She then took out polygel instead, and I told her again that I wanted acrylic because I'm paying for the service I asked for. She kept insisting that acrylic was harmful for my nails and convinced me to get polygel instead. I also had an injured fingernail and specifically asked her to leave that finger alone. She ignored my request and put polygel on it anyway. While shaping my nails, she kept hurting that finger because the nails were extremely thick. She even admitted she wouldn't charge me for that finger because of it. Then she started filing with the drill and repeatedly burned my nails because she wasn't lifting the drill properly. The nails ended up looking bulky and way thicker than I wanted. The rhinestones looked terrible--they were just randomly placed on my nails with no attention to detail. To make it worse, she got nail polish and glue all over my hands and never bothered to clean it up. When it was time to pay, my total came to $115. My nails weren't even long, and I was shocked to find out I was being charged extra for polygel--even though I had originally asked for acrylic and only got polygel because she talked me into it. No one explained there would be an extra charge. To make matters even worse, the nail tips started coming off shortly after I got them done. For the amount I paid, I expected them to last, but they didn't. They began lifting and popping off way too soon, which made the quality even more disappointing. The whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. My friend's nails were almost identical to mine, yet I was charged so much more. Before I left, the nail tech started talking to the owner and seemed upset with me. They ended up not charging me for the rhinestones, but that honestly didn't make a difference considering how poorly the service was. I would not recommend this salon. They didn't listen to what I asked for, ignored my concerns about my injured nail, hurt me during the service, left my nails looking thick and messy, and charged me for something I never wanted in the first place. On top of that, the nails didn't even last, and the tips started coming off soon after. Definitely not worth $115. THIS PLACE IS ALL LOOKS IF YALL WANT CUTE NAILS LIKE THE INSPO JUST DONT read more

I've only been to Level Nails Bar twice but had good experiences both times. Today, my pedicure was with Jenny- and she was the sweetest and gave me a very nice pedicure. My friend brought a bottle of Prosecco and the staff were so nice to provide champagne flutes. Everything is very clean and everyone I've encountered so far were so friendly, including Lynsey, Tom, and Kelly (whom did my friend's pedicure). I even bought 2 gift cards for my daughter's coaches! Hope they enjoy their pedicures! read more

I visited Level Nail Bar in Norridge, IL today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I showed a reference photo of the exact design, color, and nail shape I wanted, but the final result looked very different from what I requested. The shape was uneven, the color did not match the reference, and the design details were not executed well. I understand that inspiration photos may not always turn out exactly the same, but this set missed the mark in several ways. Another part of the appointment that made the experience uncomfortable was the overall conversation during the service. The technician spent much of the time talking about very sad and angry situations happening in her personal life. While I understand that everyone has difficult moments, a nail appointment is usually a place people go to relax and de-stress. Listening to a lot of negative personal issues throughout the service made the atmosphere feel heavy rather than relaxing. Between the disappointing nail execution and the overall environment, I left feeling very unhappy with the experience. I hope Level Nail Bar takes feedback seriously and focuses on both the quality of the work and creating a more positive, relaxing experience for clients. read more

Hands and toes down the BEST nail salon experience I've ever had! I came in for builder gel nails in shade #31 and left absolutely obsessed my nails are flawless and exactly what I envisioned. Thank you Daisy! But let's talk about the Organic Pedicure! Literally felt like I was a full-on spa retreat for my feet. From the luxurious exfoliation and soothing hot stones, to the citrusy squeezed oranges, hydrating cucumbers, hot towels, creamy lotions, steam, and even a paraffin wax treatment. I truly don't know what part was my favorite. Every step was thoughtful, relaxing, and elevated ‍ The staff went above and beyond! Everyone was professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. And the cherry on top? They have a separate, beautifully set up private party area which is perfect for group pampering! If you're looking for a place that doesn't just do nails but pampers you every step of the way, this is it! read more

Not even 1 week in and several nails are lifting. Not happy about it. This was my first time here and paid $45+tip for no chip which is much more than what I usually pay. I also want to mention that I noticed none of the employees wearing gloves when doing manicures which was odd to me. read more

First time here and enjoyed the entire experience. Clean environment and Kelly was amazing.

This was my first time here. This place is absolutely beautiful and extremely spacious. It is very clean as well. I received an overall good pedicure from Rosa, up until the polish portion. The polish is sort of sloppy. She did cut me pretty bad as well. Obviously this was an accident and she was very apologetic. I also got a no chip manicure from Rosa as well and I am a little disappointed in that. My nails are bumpy and just sort of sloppy on the sides. I will be back and try another tech. read more

Okay, update -- went in for a mani and pedi. The pedicure was done by a nice male but his supervisor was scolding him while he was doing my pedicure. This staff member must have been thrown off of by this because he started to cut too deep and when he placed my nail polish, my skin started to sting. My regular mani was done by one of the staff in front. It was done poorly and quickly. I wish I was lying when I said it was less than 10 minutes. read more

Just got in my car so I could bring my leg up to a level I could see and I see blood on 2 nails!!!! Never again. The tech was very rough with the massage and even though he had to dig on to get a bit of an ingrown toenail, I didn't expect to leave with blood all over. You can also tell he was very hurried as the torso are not filed correctly. I REGRET TIPPING HIM as I couldn't properly see the bad work. Go somewhere else read more

This was definitely the biggest let down I've had when it comes to a nail salon. My acrylic manicure was ok but my pedicure was atrocious. They didn't use overlay or cut the nails?? Wasn't aware you had to request that considering it's pretty much standard for pedicures. My nails chipped just a couple of days after. Will not be going back and don't recommend. Staff was also very pushy about adding on extra services which I'm glad I didn't do considering they didn't do the bare minimum of an overlay and cutting my nails. read more

As a first time customer, I had the best experience at levels nails bar. I tried this place on a whim and could not be happier!! I was able to make an appointment super quick and easy. The website is easy to navigate and they offer many promotions. First off; the interior is spotless and decorated beautifully. I was greeted by two friendly staff members and promptly taken back for a pedicure. My esthetician was professional, detail oriented, and very sweet. My manicure was great! My esthetician helped me find the exact shade I wanted. She was very meticulous and super friendly. There is also ton of street parking outside!! Please don't look any further, level nails bar is exceptionally clean, professional, and reasonably priced!! read more

I was here for the first time, the lady with the short hair at the register is not welcoming at all! The girls doing the pedicures look like they hate their jobs. The girls doing the manicure were ok. They all lack customer service skills. If you want your customers to keep coming back you have to be welcoming!!! Go read customer service for dummies, it would be beneficial for your salon. I won't be going back! read more

Unwelcoming and unclear communication. I had my nails done regularly here but I believe they now have new management.

I went to this place as it was recommended on 05/04 for Mani/pedi. Overall the place is is clean and expected great service. I got my pedi done first and I must say my pedi was 10/10 and I wish I got the technician's name but I didn't. when it was time for my mani Jason was the technician and I must say it was not a great experienced. While doing my mani and he got to my cuticles he literly cut me on almost every finger. I've never experienced this before, maybe 1 or 2 but not all of them. when It was time to polish my pinky finger was still bleeding as he was polishing over it instead of cleaning it and I told him to please clean it. I was there for about 3 hours now and I was over being there. I left and as I was driving home I noticed my thumb was starting to lift. I called to complain and asked if I can come back tomorrow so they can fix it and due to Mother's Day they were closed which is understandable. I took this as a lost and def will not be going back. read more

UPDATE: ANOTHER NAIL CHIPPED. This is GEL. Don't waste your time. Paid $100 for these nails & not even a week later the pinky nail randomly fell off. The service was not nice either. Lady doing my nails was very aggressive & did not greet nor speak to me at all besides asking me what shape i wanted which she said with an attitude. I scheduled two 5:00pm appointments for myself and my friend to get pedicures. They started my friend immediately. I sat until 530 with my feet in water without being started or checked on. When I asked if they knew how much longer it would be, the female "manager" as I was told she was approached me and rudely stated "yeah well everyone is busy, we will get to you when we can" I said "ok I was just wondering bc I had a 5 o'clock appointment." She said "ok well a lot of people have a 5 o'clock appointment, we are trying to get to everyone" I said "well maybe you shouldn't have overbooked the time slot." And she walked away without any acknowledgment. I removed myself from the chair at 5:40 and did not get a pedicure. I had been here once before and also had to wait but not as long. I will not be returning and neither will my friend. There are many better nail salons in the area who are kind to customers and respecting time works both ways. read more

Poor quality manicures. I spent 3 hours in the salon for a dip mani and milk & honey pedicure and the manicure didn't even last a week. Very very disappointing and I will not be back! You'd think you go through the trouble of filling out the pre-appointment bit to select services that it'd help you get what you ask for. I didn't get a single thing I asked for. I got a lovely pedicure (not the one I signed up for), an ok manicure (not the dry manicure I signed up for, nor the French deep/high cure French I added on), got a brow wax when I signed up for lamination. Couldn't get the lovely lady or the second one to understand. Also didn't get my new member discount. May as well have gone to any other pos place, then you expect this crap. What a disappointment. read more

Not my go to. Went in for a pedicure and it was pretty much basic. Lack of attention to detail when cleaning the nails and painting.

1000% recommend. Very CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL staff, REASONABLY PRICED, and much ATTENTION to detail. I never write bad reviews as I always feel like best way to fix things is communicate but in this case... communicating needing to fix something didn't work. I would not recommend this business due to the absolutely shocking experience. I asked the tech to fix three large bubble I noticed on my nail and she advised I was picky. I indicated nicely like I have a event and I would like my nails to last as I'll be out of town. Suddenly when I went to rebook upon my return they told me the tech no longer wants to take me and to call to book next appointment. Still being respectful and tipped her even tho she didn't fix it...: to find out I'm blocked by the business phone call. I tried reaching out to their social media and left me on read. Wild part is I have brought several business with me that day and we all did upgrades. I'm utterly shocked. Owner and Linda. Shame on you. read more
