I've only been to Level Nails Bar twice but had good experiences both times. Today, my pedicure was with Jenny- and she was the sweetest and gave me a very nice pedicure. My friend brought a bottle of Prosecco and the staff were so nice to provide champagne flutes. Everything is very clean and everyone I've encountered so far were so friendly, including Lynsey, Tom, and Kelly (whom did my friend's pedicure). I even bought 2 gift cards for my daughter's coaches! I visited Level Nail Bar in Norridge, IL today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I showed a reference photo of the exact design, color, and nail shape I wanted, but the final result looked very different from what I requested. The shape was uneven, the color did not match the reference, and the design details were not executed well. I understand that inspiration photos may not always turn out exactly the same, but this set missed the mark in several ways. Another part of the appointment that made the experience uncomfortable was the overall conversation during the service. The technician spent much of the time talking about very sad and angry situations happening in her personal life. While I understand that everyone has difficult moments, a nail appointment is usually a place people go to relax and de-stress. Listening to a lot of negative personal issues throughout the service made the atmosphere feel heavy rather than relaxing. Between the disappointing nail execution and the overall environment, I left feeling very unhappy with the experience. I went to this place as it was recommended on 05/04 for Mani/pedi. Overall the place is is clean and expected great service. I got my pedi done first and I must say my pedi was 10/10 and I wish I got the technician's name but I didn't. when it was time for my mani Jason was the technician and I must say it was not a great experienced. While doing my mani and he got to my cuticles he literly cut me on almost every finger. I've never experienced this before, maybe 1 or 2 but not all of them. when It was time to polish my pinky finger was still bleeding as he was polishing over it instead of cleaning it and I told him to please clean it. I was there for about 3 hours now and I was over being there. I left and as I was driving home I noticed my thumb was starting to lift. I called to complain and asked if I can come back tomorrow so they can fix it and due to Mother's Day they were closed which is understandable. Okay, update -- went in for a mani and pedi. The pedicure was done by a nice male but his supervisor was scolding him while he was doing my pedicure. This staff member must have been thrown off of by this because he started to cut too deep and when he placed my nail polish, my skin started to sting. This was my first time here. This place is absolutely beautiful and extremely spacious. It is very clean as well. I received an overall good pedicure from Rosa, up until the polish portion. The polish is sort of sloppy. She did cut me pretty bad as well. Obviously this was an accident and she was very apologetic. I also got a no chip manicure from Rosa as well and I am a little disappointed in that. My nails are bumpy and just sort of sloppy on the sides. I will be back and try another tech. read more

Just got in my car so I could bring my leg up to a level I could see and I see blood on 2 nails!!!! Never again. The tech was very rough with the massage and even though he had to dig on to get a bit of an ingrown toenail, I didn't expect to leave with blood all over. Level nails opened Dec 2024. I had been going to Level nails for a year now and all I can say from this place are wonderful things. Daisy since I can say March she has been my go to, to do my nails! She really takes her time and does wonder with your nails! I appreciate her and her work. The staff at level nails are wonderful as well, always checking in good or if I need water or coffee. This was definitely the biggest let down I've had when it comes to a nail salon. My acrylic manicure was ok but my pedicure was atrocious. They didn't use overlay or cut the nails?? Wasn't aware you had to request that considering it's pretty much standard for pedicures. My nails chipped just a couple of days after. Will not be going back and don't recommend. Staff was also very pushy about adding on extra services which I'm glad I didn't do considering they didn't do the bare minimum of an overlay and cutting my nails. read more

I would not recommend this business due to the absolutely shocking experience. I asked the tech to fix three large bubble I noticed on my nail and she advised I was picky. I indicated nicely like I have a event and I would like my nails to last as I'll be out of town. Suddenly when I went to rebook upon my return they told me the tech no longer wants to take me and to call to book next appointment.
