First time here and enjoyed my experience! My go to Spot is far in Naperville and I was in a rush to get my nails done before going on vacation. I ended up getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure and was happy with the work. The owner, a gentleman, fixed my big toe nail since it's broken and did an excellent job repairing it. His wife worked on my manicure and took her time which ended with quality work. They both seem nice; friendly and everyone that was in there seemed like a small family they all knew. They were friendly, attentive, and honest. My work was $75 ($5 extra for my toe nail repair) and I would recommend coming back! They have parking in the back, just ask for a pass. read more

I went in for a pedicure and full set appointment. There were no individual bags for each person at the pedicure stations and the tools are reused and not single use/disposable. I asked for a trending French nail and showed a picture where the white tip was not straight across and curved down. Instead the man doing my nails just added a white nail extension and it looked nothing like the picture I showed. In my opinion that's a cheap excuse for a French nail. No wonder it was $35 for a full set. I will say the woman who did my pedicure was extremely thorough and meticulous. Very displeased overall. read more

Best mani pedi and warm hospitality I've had, especially as an out-of-towner and same day service on a Friday. VERY very reasonable price ... $40 mani pedi. This place is a gem! I called before they opened and took suggestion to text them. They called moments after opening and got me in late this afternoon, no waiting, right at my appointment time. EP Nails is the best place around for a friendly manicure. This is owned by Dennis, who used to own the nail shop in South Park, Park Ridge. The place itself is pretty basic, but has a great location right in Edison Park. There are 4 pedicure stations and another 6 spots to get your finger nails did. Yes, I am a male and get manicures. It makes me feel nice and is quite relaxing. Dennis and his wife own the place and are both very friendly! They are always joking around and keeping things light as customers file in and out. Manicures are always nicely done and include a thorough hand and arm massage. It is $12 for a basic manicure and takes about 20-30 minutes. My wife goes there for mani/pedis and always likes the result. Tip - there is parking behind the shop so you can save on meters. Check out EP nails for a great manicure at a fair price! read more

The people working this salon were friendly enough. My toes and and dip nails looked fine. But it was very unsanitary. The gentlemen did my dip and their were nail clippings all over a used towel. He used the same towel with me. There was a thick layer of dust and dirt around the station. To be completely honest I was grossed out. I also hope that the tools were sanitized between. I never saw the tools in those sterile bags or come out of the machines. He also reeked of smoke, and didn't wash his hand when he did my toes or wear gloves. This post Covid. I truly would have thought it would have been sanitizing practices. I will not be back. I will say though the women employees' stations seemed cleaner though. read more

I'm kinda picky when it comes to getting acrylics because anytime I get em done they're either too heavy or too thick but this place is seriously such a hidden gem!! I showed the gentleman who did my nails a picture of the style I wanted and the ones I got are practically identical if not better. Hands down the best acrylics i've ever gotten, They're so light and comfy I can't even tell I have fake nails on. They have a back parking lot so you don't have to worry about paying for the meters. STAY AWAY!! THIS PLACE IS UNSANITARY! NO AUTOCLAVE OF INSTRUMENTS. They spray bleach water on the instruments and call that sanitized, and that is only if you ask. Otherwise just nothing. When I asked for a fresh instrument, he pulled out a loose bit from a filthy drawer, obviously not sanitized, just tossed into a drawer. When I asked about autoclaving, you could hear a pin drop in the place. He started saying "You're right, you're right" then proceeded as usual. There is a giant tv directly across from the station, and he spends all his time watching the tv, not watching your nails. When the color polish we picked was almost empty, instead of telling us to choose another color, he thinned the polish with acetone and continued applying it, even though it was gloppy and ruined the acrylics he just put on. Took my teen here to get gel nails. I wanted to leave when he said no autoclave but she wanted the nails that day so I said ok against my better judgement. The owner serviced us. He did a crappy job, took no more than 15 minutes total, did not use an orangewood stick to do the cuticles, did basically nothing except use a dremel to rough up her nails then slapped on acrylics, not gel, even though he charged for gel. The job was so shoddy, as you can see in the pics, that the nails started peeling off the next day. Two days later they all came off. When we went in to show him what happened and ask for a refund he denied it was his fault. Really???? Then he offered to repair his work. Why, so he could mess it up again? Hell no. I asked my bank to reverse the charge and they did, but a week later he denied the refund saying services were provided as promised. $35 for nails that last 2 days? No. Stay away from this place. Horrible work, even worse customer service. I am reporting them to the Dept. of Health. Disgusting. read more

Dennis (the salon owner) was very warm and welcoming, and Lynn gave me a fabulous pedicure and a stellar no chip French mani. I'm super fussy when it comes to my nails, and EP Nails did not disappoint! The salon is comfortable and unassuming, and filled with neighborhood locals. I went to have my pedicure done around 6.30 pm and as soon as step in a man told me that they close at 7. I asked him if I can get a pedicure and he said yes. The women the did it was rushing, she finished before 7 pm. I thought she will clean the nail polish out of the skin around my toes but she didn't. I give my credit card to the guy(owner) and he said very loud" It dint work" in front of another customer. I told him to try again and he told me he its not going to do it. Then he start asking me, did go shopping a lot, what is your balance... I was speechless for how rude this man was so I just want to get out of there.I paid with another card and left. I got home and I literally try to do my pedicure again because it look like a seven year old did it. I am six month pregnant and I cant reach my foot anymore... so I have to wait until the next day and go to another nail salon and have them done. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there not even if it was the only place open. read more
