Took over an hour to give me a simple, no thrills pedicure. I repeatedly had to say that I did not want any other services. The language barrier are communication impossible. The young woman had my feet resting in dead skin heel cells for 25 minutes. So gross! She never flipped the towel over! She then cleaned the tool, filled with dead skin cells, in the very pool of water my feet rested in! Disgusting. Then she rushed me over to the foot dryer, for a few minutes - only to then shove my foot into my sandal smearing the nail polish! She was flustered, but did nothing to rectify it as the store had already closed! All that time for a smeared pedicure! I told the owner and she did/said nothing. And the owner was on her cell phone while giving pedicures. Arrgh. Never again! read more

I went on Thursday and I just asked for a full set regular basic bandicure the young lady end up putting some powder gel and a charge me $55 and want to charge a dollar fee for the credit card so one of the worker said only charge for 55 the lady still charged my car 56 I was not happy with my nails she didn't even have me to wash my hands or anything my nails are all crooked and they look horrible the manager t did not even try to resolve the situation about the employee customers is not always right but if I'm unhappy make it right I will never visit this place again yes they have some good reviews that's because they cater to the Hispanic side cuz every time I go and I speak they don't speak to me but when a Hispanic people comes in the manager t always acknowledge them that's my observation I just think if an employee messes up your nails they should at least try to see how can they reconcile the situation at least fix it and I'm very shocked at t the manager she was right there and said nothing when I was unhappy and they heard when they told her don't charge my card the dollar charge the lady did it anyway my nails are crooked she did a manicure based on what she wanted to do that's not what I asked for when you charge me $55 unacceptable read more

Having not been here in years I thought I'd give them a second chance. They used to have an unusual polish that I liked. I wanted a manicure and pedicure. I think I was given the "express" manicure and pedicure. When I came in her previous client was just leaving. The client asked the Nail Tech were you in a hurry? So what she said no. So apparently she was giving "quick" services to everyone. I felt cutting my cuticles on my fingers we're half done. My feet have bad calluses on them. She didn't even use the foot file on them. She used a sponge and just rubbed them. Needless to say most of the callous was still left. For the price of a pedicure I could have done that myself at home. Lastly she didn't even talk to me during the whole service. Her and the other Nail Tech we're too busy talking to each other. The other Nail Tech also had a client. I could have complained and said something. Instead I just won't return. read more

Let's not get things twisted, I like to keep proper. By proper my mean nails manicured. I am a big fan of T Nails. Their shop is clean and beautiful. Their people who work there are really friendly and are very skilled in keeping your nails proper. My go to guy is Sam. He is so friendly and really makes sure my no chip manicure is flawless, time and time again. My mother in law goes to Tina, and she loves her. I have had some disaster no chips from other places but i am so happy with their service. I came here about an hour and a half before close on a Thursday night. It was my first visit. When I got there, there was a woman getting a pedicure in the far pedicure chair. I was done before her. It was very rushed and there was barely any scrubbing of the rough spots that I came to get rid of. The lady who did my pedi was not at all friendly and I doubt she spoke English. There was another lady who was working on someone else who seemed very nice - I wish I'd gotten her. As I'm sitting here writing this review, the polish on my toes is still gummy and has many dents in it. I've had many pedicures and I do my own nail art so I know a thing or two about nail polish. I know that when the polish stays gummy it's because it's old. I'll most likely go back to show them what's going on but I really don't want to deal with how uncomfortable I'll feel when they start talking about me in another language. I'm really sad because I saw such great reviews here and the place is new. Love this place! My acrylics were super messed up from the last place I went. Very ugly and falling off. I just moved to this area and I've been looking for a new nail salon. Decided to give this place a try. Jenny fixed my nails and took extra time to make sure the new nails were perfect. I'm soooo picky about my nails and Jenny did an amazing job! I'm so so happy with the results! I'll be back in a few weeks for another fill! They take debit and credit, but tips are cash only. Which is fine with me, just make sure you have cash on hand. The tech kept cutting on the side of my toe nail, I had to tell her not to do that because that is what causes ingrown toenails! My Nails look like a "Full-On Monet" What's a Monet? It's like a painting see, from far away it's Ok, but up close it's a big ol mess! Thank you Cher from Clueless, you have just helped me describe what is wrong with my no-chip manicure. Only the friendliness of the staff saves this from a one star rating. The shop is clean and atmosphere is relaxing. Although I wonder about some of the decor items--helicopters? Okaaaaay..... I had a feeling my No-Chip would turn out bad as my tech had a really sloppy technique and my nails did not stay under the light as long as I think they should have. The nail color goes all the way down to the cuticle on some nails and isn't very even, so up close it looks pretty sloppy. I'm sure no one would notice it if I was just sitting and talking to them, but as someone that's had really good no-chips in the past, the work here at T-nails really is sub par. I visited Monday morning and it's Thursday and paint on one of my nails chipped today. See? Sloppy technique. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Yes shop is new and clean. Staff is friendly. I went as a walk in for a non chip. They started me about 10 minutes after I arrived but was seated immediately. My non chip was priced at $25. I think that is their grand opening offer. I must say I won't likely return. My nails were finished at different lengths. From a far clear finish looks fine but a closer inspection reveals in uneven layering and coursed filing under the coats. My tech was Krystal. Not horrible but certainly not great. read more

This is the place to go to in Jefferson Park to get your nails done. I've tried many places in the area and this is the once I keep coming back to. I've come here for manicures and pedicures and both last for far longer than I anticipate (and we're talking your regular manicure, not no-chip), which is always ideal. I recently popped in on a Saturday for a pre-wedding mani/pedi (not my wedding) and got in right away. However, you can tell they have a loyal customer base, as the place filled up shortly after I got there. I recommend calling to make sure they have open spots. The place is very clean, the selection of colors is good, and it doesn't appear they use too much thinner in their polishes. And maybe this is TMI but it's something I really appreciate... my nail tech cut out a huge ingrown that I didn't even know I had in my big toe and showed me how big it was. It was very oddly satisfying. The only thing I'd change is what they're showing on TV... infomercials galore when I was there. However, I did learn about how Jane Seymour, Olympic swimmer Dara Torres, and various other middle-aged women are remediating age-related wrinkles (skin-creping, the infomercial is life-changing). read more

The owner & other manicurist working on me laughed about it...then i was asked to but my legs together for a hot towel on my legs..i said i could not put them together & right away the pedicurist said " yea because your stomach is so big!" I was shocked! I am 6'1" & yes overweight but not a pudge fat rolly poley by any means...Plus i have a torn ligament in my bloody fucking knee & need a knee replacement.. which I've told them before... I looked at her & said "No, it's because of my knee & you can see i am parked in the handicap spot" I came here to treat myself not be made fun of... Will not come again. Cobwebs everywhere. Came there with a friend yesterday to get pedicures and the lady scraped my foot with the sponge so hard that I ended up bleeding. Had to ask 2x for a bandaid. My friend was also getting a pedicure and her lady kept leaving her unattended several times throughout the process. I have been coming to this salon every few weeks for about 9 months now. If you're looking for a good value, quality work and kind people, this is a great spot. My no-chip manicures here last for a good two weeks - and I wash my hands constantly with alcohol-based rubs. At $25 for a regular and $28 for a French, they're a good value. The polish on my pedicures usually lasts around 3 weeks or so. Pedicures come with a foot / leg salt scrub while you sit in a massaging chair and watch TV. Very relaxing. I have never waited for a service, and I rarely make an appointment or call ahead. They work efficiently, too...which I especially appreciate when short on time. The people who work there are sweet. They have always treated me well and have gone above and beyond on a few occasions to make me feel more comfortable (e.g. when I was 9 months pregnant, one of the women who worked there offered to give me a massage [no charge] while my nails were drying because she could tell I was tired.) Really kind. The location is convenient (right on Northwest Highway). Parking is easy and free. read more

Quite possibly the worst manicure/pedicure I've ever received. The woman painting my nails was rude and abrupt. She played on her phone throughout the mani/pedi (including while wearing wet gloves mid-pedicure). My no chip manicure was bump filled and peeled within two days. I wanted to love this place again.. really I did. I used to come here all the time when they first opened. They were great! The service was exceptional and the prices were good. I only stopped going because I moved and found a spot closer to my home, however, my best friend and I decided to try them out again since we were in the neighborhood. Walking in, the nail salon has a very clean feel to it and we were greeted right away. I was even surprised that they remembered me and even asked after my sister. (I seriously hadn't been there in a year so I was pleasantly surprised.) They asked my friend and I to pick a color, which we did. I just wanted a nail removal, mani and pedi. The pedi went great. My nail tech was very nice and super attentive. After she was done she asked me to take a seat at her section (I'm assuming). She didn't soak my nails off.. no.. she buffed them as low as possible.. which burned the heck out of the tops of my nails. After saying 'ouch' about 20 times.. she grabbed a fake plastic nail and tried to slide that between my actual nail and the acrylic one I already had on!!! Ughhhhh... never again!! My nails were already tender and this just made it 10x worse. So as she worked on my right hand I decided to just pull the ones on my left hand off myself because what she was doing felt far worse. To top it all off she kept insisting on a color I didn't want to do. (It was completely different from the one I picked for my pedi).. well after the nail removal she buffed my nails some more.. had me wash my hands.. soaked them in water for 2 minutes.. cleaned the nail beds.. and added polish.. I have had manis before.. There was no hand rub.. and even worse.. no apology. When she told me the price I was surprised. She charged me for the nail removal. The one I helped with lol That was kind of a joke.. wanna know the kicker, I still gave her a nice tip!!! How awesome am I?! My problem isn't with the staff, really.. they're super nice and again the pedi was good.. The salon is very clean, but I'd never go through their nail removal process again.. ever!
