The only reason why I would go to another nail salon is if Sisters Nails is closed (either for vacation or Sundays & Mondays). The more I try other nail salons, the more I appreciate coming to Sisters Nails. Sam and Katie, the owners and nail techs, only take appointments by phone. Strictly no walk-ins. I know that this could be a bummer to other potential or existing customers, but for me, this is one if the things that I like about them. They take their time and do quality work to each customer. My daughter has always gotten acrylics by Sam and I usually get no chip mani and pedi by Katie. They have always done awesome work. The place has consistently been quiet, clean, and relaxing. The best thing about Sisters Nails for me is that Sam and Katie are both quiet. They were always very polite and respectful. They have always replied to questions or made small talks, but overall, they have always been just quiet. The one thing that has always turned me off from other nail salons, was when all the technicians would talk loud with each other, in their own language. I speak my own native language too, but I personally feel that it is rude to talk (or laugh) with each other, in front of other people (customers). I've been going here for two years now. I've not once had an issue with my nails or the service being provided. The environment is very chill and comforting. Every time I book here I alwayssssss look forward to coming! Sam, the nail technician I go to always copies and pastes the nail inspiration I show him. First off, they did a really nice job with my dip manicure and pedicure. They both look great. However, the reason for 3 stars is that I was there for 2 full hours to get everything done - luckily I didn't have anywhere to be afterwards. I showed up at my appointment time and they didn't start with me until 25 mins after my scheduled appointment time. It just seemed like they may have overbooked themselves with only 3 individuals working. Since it is a weekend, they should either take less clients or have another staff member working -- as multiple times my services were interrupted by them having to take incoming phone calls to schedule future clients' appointments. Throughout my two services, I had all three individuals doing different parts of my mani/pedi so that they could keep up with the days' scheduled clients. Even though I was there for two hours, the majority of that time was "down time" in between someone working with me and finishing my mani/pedi. Because when they were working on me it was rushed. Additionally, they were pretty aggressive with the pumice stone -so much so that my ankle paid the price with two new open wounds, and left me audibly gasping and grabbing my ankle in pain (photo taken immediately after leaving) If you have plenty of time to spare, this is a good option for quality mani/pedi services. Overall though, I wouldn't call it relaxing. read more

The staff were helpful and friendly and actually helped create "my own color" after describing that I wanted a light pink with a little bit of shimmer. But within a week, two of my no-chip nails started chipping. I asked another friend who has gone twice and she said within a week her nails have chipped too. When I got my pedicure they did a very thorough scrub of my feet and as a runner I had a lot of dry skin that just needed the maintenance , she did a great job! Also the no chip manicure was perfect for 2 weeks until my nails started to grow out and it was time for a change. I do not recommend this place. I went for my nails today at 11:30 and the lady that did my nails her name was Mary. When she was doing my feet she was very very rough. And then I got burgundy nail polish and she did not clean my nails up very well she left marks nail polish on my skin. I told her not to file my nails nor to clip them and she did not listen to me and she proceeded to file my nails and cut my nails. When she was doing my nails she was getting very very aggravated. At the end, they popped open a little vitamin e capsule and rubbed it in with the lotion, my hands were so soft . Found this nail salon on Groupon and so glad I did! This was my first time getting a dip manicure and it was a great experience! Although they didn't have many dip color choices, they had many wonderful gel and regular colors available! They also do a great job on your nails overall! I have been getting my nails done for years and have gone to many, many places and I have never received such a ridiculous response & horrible customer service.
