This is extremely unfortunate that I have to update my review and no longer support this business. I have been a REGULAR customer at Crystal Nails for the last 7 years! I've brought MULTIPLE people who have become customers to this place. The owner knows my entire family! But the way I was treated recently was truly disrespectful. For my birthday, I made an appointment for two pedicures for me and my daughter. I needed the appointment to be mid-afternoon, but the owner pushed for me to take a 4:45 appointment. As the day progressed and I was preparing for my event in the evening, the appointment time was cutting it way too close so I had to call and cancel. After I told the owner I had to cancel SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I called 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to cancel. Is it an inconvenience to the business? Sure, I can understand there is an impact to a schedule change. However, to treat me- a regular customer, who has brought you lots of business- so rudely to hang up on me?? And she has my number to call me back if it was an accident, she didn't call back. I'm still astonished at this treatment. It's really a shame because now I need to take my business elsewhere. I will say that Lisa who works there is extremely talented, gives the best foot massages, and the best service in the entire place. You know in February I let it slide when I came to get a pedicure on a day that I was extremely stressed out, with my arm in a sling, and the owner and one of the older women working there made sarcastic comments about me being a few minutes late. They were not, and never were, packed to the gills with customers. Lisa was the only person who saw the stress on my face and comforted me when I burst into tears. I even was willing to come back after that! But never again. That treatment towards me was extremely unkind and I didn't deserve that. No one does. read more

I got a gel manicure last Friday and 6 days have past by and the paint on one of my nails is on the verge of coming off :( Gel manicure typically lasts 2.5-3 weeks for me so this is very disappointing. I'm wondering if Crystal Nails would redo my nail for me? Additionally, after examining my nails, I later realized they didn't paint my nails fully. There is a lot of space between the polish and my cuticles so it looks like my nail grew out a lot (see photos) Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the manicure. I paid $36 + $8 tip. read more

I enjoy the perks of massage on legs with and without hot stone, then hands and back. It also includes paraffin during your pedicure. All the ladies are very nice and they have massage chairs. My nails don't last when I get them done here. I don't know if their products are just super old or watered down but my no chip never lasts more than 4-5 days, and neither does my regular pedicure. I've never had this issue anywhere else. And on top of it, the owner has the audacity to say "be more careful" as if I did something. I don't do anything extensive or crazy with my hands. It literally starts to peel off like a sticker within a few days. I've had gel last me close to 3 weeks from other places. I have been going to Crystal Nails for years. Helen runs a friendly and very clean shop. She is warm and professional and she remembers so many details about all of her clients. Helen does an amazing no chip mani and the well priced pedicures there include a hot stone massage and paraffin for the feet. The no chip mani includes a hand treatment while the client is under the UV lights to help protect my hands against the UV. I also have Helen do my eyebrows and she does an amazing job. My daughter's grew up going to Crystal Nails and they have great memories of time spent there. This shop and Helen are top notch and professional. I don't want to rave for fear of not being able to get in next time but I love when small businesses do great work and that won out. They didn't know me from a hole in the wall but fit me in at the very last minute. I had a wonderful mani by Helen, the owner, who is talented and funny and runs a great ship. My pedi was by Hanna, also just wonderful and my nails look so good. She's a darling woman. [This is a re-review because the establishment is under new management and I have not been here in ages] The number one thing that Crystal Nails "nailed" is their service and homey environment. The walls are painted in a nice color, there are pillows (and candy!), and a plethora of magazines and comfy couches. The waiting area has coffee and there are fresh flowers everywhere! Helen, the new owner, chatted about how she recently had a grand opening with "grand opening prices" (12.00 for a mani, 36 for mani/pedi, 30 for no-chip) and I had to try it!. Helen is funny and caring- in that Asian-mom sort of way! I loved how welcomed I felt. The manicure itself was a really relaxing experience! For 12.00, my hands were wrapped in hot towels, my cuticles were carefully trimmed, my nails were meticulously painted and I even received a back massage! That is an amazing deal! The manicurist, Judy (pick her!) has been working with Helen for half a decade and is super friendly. She's a mom so she instantly makes you feel comfortable and she's also a very hard worker! What you get for a no-chip mani and pedi is worth it! The pedi includes a scrub, hot stone massage, heel paraffin and hot towel treatments. You hands get a nice hand massage and a lotion gloves. The ladies at Crystal nail know how to pamper their clients. I came in for a mani-pedi and lower leg wax. The salon owner took me to a small room and skillfully made my legs dolphin smooth with great speed. Then the nail technician escorted me to a pedicure spa chair. While the chair massaged my back, the technician bathed, scrubbed, exfoliated, massaged, softened and hot stoned my tired feet and lower legs. I had not expected to receive so much lavish treatment. She then skillfully worked on my toenails until they looked like shimmer jewels. The manicure was almost as luxurious, but without the warm spa bath. In total, the ladies spent 2 hours on me. Just went to Crystal Nails for the second time. All I have say is WORST experience ever!!!! Everyone was nice except the lady doing my nails her name was Amy. She was so rude and aggressive for no reason. What I originally told her I wanted was a colored French tip on my no chip manicure with a little heart design on the ring finger. I asked her again and she said NO. Then I asked why and she says "we don't do that here." "you need a machine to do that." Which then I said "no I think you can do it with a little brush." But then she mumbles "that's Chinese" "we're Korean". Then in a condescending tone she says "well, you should've called to see if we can do a design." So I respond by telling her that has nothing to do with being able to do a design on the nail. And that any other nail shop would be able to do a little design regardless of their background." After this brief back and forth she has the nerve to switch up her mood and be nice to me like no way lady. I go to pay and she still has the nerve to ask for a tip like be so for real right now, I just gave her $5. The lady who was charging me and Amy laughed and said something in Korean about me leaving that amount for a tip like that's because your service is horrible. NEVER AGAIN! I literally just left and can honestly say that this is the best mani-pedi treatment I've ever had. It's been months since I finally found time. First of all, they were at first booked but as soon as they got a cancellation I got a call back in 30 minutes. My technician was super sweet and performed a callus treatment, I work in the restaurant industry so my calluses are pretty intense so I appreciated that. Then, what I wasn't expecting is that I got a leg massage + a hot stone. It's complimentary and my legs feel like new. My manicurist was super quick and nice as well, my nails look amazing.
