Let me just say, I'm obsessed with my nails and amazed at how well they did my nails. First of all, I really appreciate the salon for not rushing me when picking out a color. I always get a no-chip gel manicure, and I was surprised when they did 2 layers of gel base, and THREE layers of gel polish. All places I've been to only does one base coat and 2 (at best) of gel polish. I believe my nail tech was Quynh and she really made sure to evenly coat my nails, and she even coated all of the sides (which is a problem I've had with other places). Will definitely come back here every Chicago trip!

I found my new go to spot for nails and I'm so lucky to have gotten Nick as my nail tech because he was incredible.

I appreciated that. However, I felt like the appointment was rushed. I requested round toenails, but they weren't shaped the way I had asked. I didn't realize they had been shaped differently until my manicure, when she asked, "You want square toenails but round fingernails?" At that point, it was too late to correct them. My manicure also wasn't shaped the way I wanted, and the replacement color ended up much pinker than I expected on my hands after only being tested on my toenail. There were also a couple of service issues that left me feeling overlooked. After my pedicure, she tried to send me to check out even though I had a manicure scheduled. During my manicure, I also noticed other clients were given towels or hand rests while my arms were resting directly on the cold table. The finished manicure is decent overall, although I noticed a few small air bubbles and that the color appears slightly thinner in some areas than others. I came in for a no-chip manicure and pedicure, and today I just did a color change for my toes with a no-chip manicure (total cost: $80). While it's on the pricier side, my nails lasted over a month the last time, so it's definitely worth the price. Kristina (apologies if I'm spelling it wrong!) was kind, respectful, and very professional. I especially appreciate how sanitary she was--she asked me to wash my hands twice, wore headwear, and always kept gloves on. The salon itself is chic and well-maintained. The only thing I'd suggest for improvement is perhaps spending a little more time on hand and foot massages or offering complimentary drinks to enhance the experience even further. I am regular customer and come every 2-3 weeks. I now schedule an appointment, verus being a walk in due to wanting a popular nail tech. There has only being one time in my 1 year of being a regular that they could not serve me on a Saturday, but I had a time issue and should have scheduled. I tried this salon one day due to in being closer to my home than my prior nail salon and allowing walk-ins on Saturdays. They also do gel nails, dip (my fav) and acrylic, which I love. I will not say the nail tech that I schedule, but this person (they have both male and female nail techs) is amazing. My nails do not break or the paint does not peel. They take their time every time I book them, regardless if there is a appointment in back of me. I've never had to wait on my appointments as I try to schedule them a few days before and for a early time - like 10am. I now visit on the weekdays to ensure I can be seen by my preferred nail tech. I love it here. I've tried another place in nearby and I was not happy with my nails, nor did they last. I'm pretty hard on my nails, but do know a really good nail tech application can survive my treatment of the nails I get.

Her mother and aunt also work there and everyone is friendly, offered tea or coffee, plus there's no headachy acetone odor in the place. HIghly recommend! They're about to change the name to "Sophia's Nails" and I wish them the best of luck. I'll be back and will get a french tip dip mani next time.

Overall experience: 3.5/5…read more Ok so I wanted a manicure before my trip. I went and got a French tip manicure no chip. Tbh, it was very worth the price. However, I noticed the one doing my nails was in a rush and wasnt as through as I wanted the experience to be. She kept looking up and at the clock. As for the nails, it was nice at first. Then after a couple of days (5 days), it started to peel off. I'm assuming it's because of the rushed experience. If you are planning on getting no chip, it may just last less than 2 weeks just FYI.

However, her attention to detail was not great. My big toe and 2nd toe on my right foot were not polished that well as you could see in the pic (couldn't tell til I got home and inspected everything). There is also some bubbling on the big toe. She also didn't tell me that one of my nails was almost coming off on my left foot. Lastly she didn't shape my left pinky toe well. It was a straight across and the left corner was pointy vs slightly curved. I was quoted $30 for the Pedi over the phone but I guess they added $5 to remove the no chip? Not a big deal, just stating for info purposes. Unfortunately I won't be returning.
