I have been getting my nails done here for many years. Their work is always done well in a relaxing environment. Their work lasts longer than any other pedicure I have had done. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but this honestly bothered me. I walked in because the door says they accept walk-ins. When I got there, there were like 3 or 4 workers just sitting and only one client, so it didn't look busy at all. But the moment I walked in, the way they looked at me already felt kind of off. I asked for a simple manicure, nothing crazy, just my natural nails. And they straight up told me "we don't do that." Which... confused me because it's literally a nail salon. I even showed them my nails and explained again, like no acrylics, nothing extra. Then they switched it to "we don't have time." That didn't make sense at all. They weren't busy and it was still early, they close later. The whole thing just felt weird and honestly rude. I don't like throwing this word around, but it really felt like I was being treated differently for no reason. I left feeling uncomfortable and kind of offended. I ended up going to Sofia Nail Salon right next door and they took me right away and were super nice, so I would definitely recommend going there instead. Just didn't feel welcoming at all here. read more

Friendly, professional staff. Great products. Clean and sanitary shop. I will definitely be returning.

Everyone in the salon does excellent work. IMO the prices are reasonable. The salon is clean and quiet. Bathroom is spotless. Have been a customer for 15+ years. Very happy with their manicures and pedicures. read more

if I could negative I would because me and my mom came in for a pedicure and as soon as they seen me and her were covered in tattoos, they denied a service all because we have tattoo......won't not recommend going here read more

Horrible service and very rude. Sung had to redo my no chip 2 times and still left bumps and air bubbles.. she cut my nails down to my skin and started aggressively filing down my skin when i did not ask for my nails to be cut all the way down. She also not put top coat on my entire nail and left it sticky. Waste of money. read more

I had my nails done by Christina twice so far. From booking my appointment to pulling through with a design that I chose, Christina has been amazing both times. She asked me to bring a photo as a design reference, and the result is much better than what I could have explained to her verbally! My nails are prettier and healthier. From the last visit, my nails lasted for several months, and I don't tend after my nails to "guard" them from chipping. I'm expecting they last me at least til the end of the year. read more

I'm a regular at Dasha's nails down the street, but when they couldn't take me as a walk-in, I decided to try out 675. I walked in at 7:10pm and asked for a manicure. I didn't realize they had actually closed at 7pm, but nevertheless the two women working welcomed me in with no hesitation! So nice! Despite my late arrival, the nail technician did not rush at all and my manicure turned out great. After a long day at work I also really appreciated the relaxing hand and shoulder massage. Overall great experience and thinking about switching from Dasha's to 657. read more

I haven't had a professional manicure or pedicure in some time- but this place is great. The prices are affordable and the staff is quiet, but friendly. It was $79 for a gel manicure and pedicure. I'm glad I found this Skokie gem. read more

I went here once with my Mom - she never had a mani/pedi so I wanted to treat her to a nice, clean salon. I liked the photos on here of the pedicure chairs, so It kind of lured me in. I called Saturday morning and the person who answered the phone was incredibly friendly, and was able to fit us both in at around noon. What I absolutely loved right away was the huge selection of nail polishes. Everything was neat, and in order by color. It didn't look like a rack of mish mosh, and all of the polishes looked full - which is nice to see, because who really likes picking a shade that is half empty. I know I don't want any goo on my fingernails. I really like that they have so many variations of every color. If you're looking for a very specific shade, they will most likely have it. The pedicure was incredible and very relaxing. My Mom and I were literally about to fall asleep as they massaged our legs with a body scrub and lotion. The warm towel is a nice extra touch. My pedicure was done really neat and she took her time. I had an equally great manicure and she took some serious time filing and filing my nails until they were perfectly shaped and smooth. She didn't seem at all rushed and she was just genuinely nice. You also get an arm/hand massage with another warm towel - it was the icing on the cake. My manicure was absolutely perfect. My nail technician also offered a massage while I was drying my nails, but I told her it wasn't necessary. The owner also greeted us and we told her how we loved our nails and are definitely returning. She was really nice and I saw her greeting others and giving another customer (I'm assuming a regular) a hug. It's a really positive, friendly, almost family-like environment. I'll definitely recommend and return in the future. read more

Unfortunately this is my second time giving this place a shot for a pedicure. And both times were disappointing at best. This second attempt I was given a chair right away and the woman got started on my pedicure. I walked in at 11:35, and by 11:50, she was already painting. While the woman next to me (who was there before me) was still in the beginning stages of her pedicure. In other words, my pedicure was beyond rushed. The woman next to me even noticed how quickly my nail tech was going through my pedicure. Also, it was not busy whatsoever (this is me looking for an excuse as to why mine was so rushed). On top of this, $39 for a pedicure seemed a little steep for the service I received. I cannot say "don't come here", because I have never gotten a manicure from here. But for a pedicure, I would look elsewhere. read more

Expensive but I got a French no chip and it lasted a good 3 weeks. And, she did a great job!

Worse service ever the people who work there are not welcoming at all. I would never recommend this place even if it was free. The work they do is terrible and not worth the horrible experience. read more

Covid Safe! Today was my first mani/pedi since Covid started. I was so happily impressed with all the safety precautions that were in place when I arrived for my appointment. Temperatures are taken upon arrival, and hand sanitizer available. Customers wash their hands before picking out their nail color, or touching anything. Plexiglass shields were installed in the mani and pedi stations. All customers and staff wore masks. Thank you for an enjoyable and safe experience! read more

I have been a customer for 10+ years, with three different owners, and I am a most satisfied customer. Manis and pedis are impeccable. Service is gracious. read more

My favorite place for a pedi! Never a bad encounter, the Covid protocols are in place and working well.

I've been going here since I was quite young. I remember them being one of the first nail salons to give a massage afterward! they always do a fantastic job. I got a no-chip on February 7th, and now it's the 22nd and it still looks good as new- just starting to grow out a bit. I really like this place and I recommend it to all my friends who live or work in the area! read more

This is so sad to report but I'll have to stop patronizing this establishment. Last time I went the pedicure was rushed, the massage was almost like she had better things to do and not relaxing. I didnt receive the parafin like they normally do -- but the kicker was this: 1. polish was sloppy 2. on the sides of my toes 3. it didnt have a smooth polished look to it 4. it was choppy 5. almost a matte finish 6. top coat was applied incorrectly I tried to explain it to Angela, mgr. she and the nail technician were on their hands & knees by my toes saying "I don't see what you are talking about" then talking in another language to each other - it was so embarrasing and annoying. I just wanted to be heard, understood, not made to feel like a fool or my concerns werent valid. I'll never go there again. read more

I'm sold! This place was great I must have driven by this place a million and never noticed it until recently. This place in Ahhhhmazing, the women here are very friendly and pleasant when you walk through the door you are instantly greeted. I had a pedi/mani. The Pedicure chairs are nothing like I have ever experienced really plush and nice. The whole decor of the place is pretty funky too :) Ok so with my mani/pedi came with a leg massage, warm towel and a paraffin treatment. My mani came with a neck, shoulder and arm massage, warm towel and a paraffin treatment as well. The lady Cindy did a wonderful job on my hands & feet pretty much flawless. She walked me through everything she was about to do and asked me along the way did everything look ok I LOVE IT who does that :) The one thing that really stood out to me was it was quiet they have signs asking you not use your cellphone and it was very quiet I mean this is what a true spa experience should be like HELLO! Boy have I been bamboozled all these years lol. Overall I will be coming back. I will say it's not your average mani/pedi prices but it was definitely worth every penny and sometimes great service cost a little more. read more

Great service and great prices for mani/pedis. They have the nice leather massage chairs for your pedicure, too.

I am addicted to this place and the ladies who work here. They are so darn nice and helpful. Where can you go, get a pedicure manicure, jewelry cleaned and so much kind and gentle care of your soul and spirit. These ladies are the best. read more

Had a no chip manicure and a regular pedicure for an exaggerated price of $66, and when I asked about the price and how much is, the owner just rolled her eyes. No wonder the place is always available and empty. I have been to several places, and this is one of the most expensive one, and they are not even doing a wonderful job, just normal services. Wasn't impressed at all, plus the no chip manicure chipped of one of my finger after only 2 days!! There are far better places is Skokie than this place, that overcharges customers. Luna Nails is also a great place! Do not waste your money on this place! read more

The other reviews say it all. Great service, runs on time, and it takes forever for my nails to chip. The polish usually grows out long before the first chip happens. They are on the pricey side compared to other places, but worth it for the quality. Bonus -- free parking in a large lot next to the strip mall. The best part of the experience is the shoulder massage while you are drying. Pro tip -- wear a ponytail so they can get to you without your hair in the way. read more

Horrible service ever , thank god I left doing anything. These lady's not professional at all .

Dropped in without an appointment Thursday after work cuz I couldn't get in to see my usual lady cuz she's gotten so busy. They took me right away since they have a ton of people working. I like the ethnic mix too...not only one language spoken while you feel like they're talking about you...only a little. But I only mind a little so here I didn't mind at all. My cherry red nails looked fab in 20 min...I was shocked. I thought I'd hate it as she kept working at the speed of light. But no...they turned out great. Pedi took longer, but that can't be avoided with my feet. I didn't mind either, cus I hate feeling rushed. Not to mention the fabulous little foot holder things they have so you don't have to hold your foot up in midair as they scrape away! If it was 35 like my usual place is be back every few weeks, but I suppose 49 for a mani pedi isn't too bad either. Highly recommended. read more

The girl rushed through my pedicure. I sat down and was in the same place as the woman next to me who had been here long before me after 7 min. They're not even busy right now. Second of all, when I came in the asked what services I needed. I said "full set and manicure" they didn't tell me until after i got my pedicure that they don't do full sets I won't return and I always tip even if the service is bad but... they will not be receiving a tip for half assed work. My feet look like a three year old painted them. Didn't even bother to clean up the edges read more

I got my hair cut at the salon next to this place so I walked in to get a manicure there, why not, right? Well, I showed them a picture of what I wanted and then three women had to look at it and then debate over it and looked at me as if I had just requested they perform open heart surgery on me. After having someone else explain what I wanted (simple almond shaped nails), she urged the nail tech to say yes or no and so she finally said "no" while shaking her head as if I had just insulted her. "Okay, thanks" I said as I left. Most awkward experience at a salon. Very fucking strange. read more

Another local spot that deserves some love today...also long overdue... Granted nothing super pretty or curb worthy at first glace...but the service here is awesome! And a shout-out to the old school area code! They have great massage chairs (not the ones with the shocking butt massager) and the bowls that change colors...yes its the small things sometimes that I love. They have always been overly accommodating when I call at the last minute and they never rush through the mani/pedi. They have plenty of new and popular colors to choose from and the mani/pedi actually last a decent length of time. I've seen them sanitize the bowls and everything before the next client and feel comfortable everything is clean. Also a big plus, not too pricey, so those of us on a budget, this is great. read more

We walked in and asked if we could get two manicures side-by-side, as we were limited on time. The man coordinating side "yes." He then took someone who came in after us, that did not have an appointment. He then had one of us sit down to get a manicure. We asked him if we were getting two at the same time. He said, "yes-- the other manicurist was finishing up." HE LIED! Our first manicure was finished and drying before the second manicure started. And the same manicurist did both manicures. Honesty is the most important trait for a neighborhood business. 675 Nails does not deserve our business. We cannot go back to a business that shows so little respect for the truth. read more

Since there are new owners - I think my review needs to be updated. The prices are a bit exp compared to other places I've gone too - but the service is great. The girls are super nice, take the time to get your nails right and who doesn't like back massages?? I've been coming here for the past few months and am completely spoiled now. I come here twice a month just to relax, get some free wifi while they pretty me up! read more

You know that part in Legally Blonde when the sidekick girl starts speaking Korean with the manicurist? That could easily happen here. If only I spoke Korean. My first time I went with a bunch of girls and being that it is Skokie they aren't used to guys coming in but they were very welcoming and I got pedicure/manicure and it was average/above average overall but they just do everything with a smile and for $30 pedi/mani...well that's just pretty cheap. They don't take credit cards which I always forget and always have to dodge traffic on Dempster to run to the ATM. But ever since that first time I've gone in alone and they always remember me and seriously when I leave all the manicurists say, "Ok Jacoooo you have nice dayyyyyy!!!" Loves. read more

I had the worst pedicure here. There weren't busy and the girl still rushed. I had to ask her to keep going back. She didn't cut my nails or clean up my cuticles until I ask her to go back and do it. I ended up not even getting my nails done. read more

MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE PEDICURE BOWLS ARE PROPERLY SANITIZED. Sounds funny, but it is not funny. IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!!!! It was a busy Saturday and I am a regular walk in like usual. I normally give nail spas 3 times and your out, and this place is a no, no, no more..... I felt like my pedicure was a rush because it was a busy Saturday. Let me tell you that I got Athletes foot on my right foot because of improper sanitation of their pedicure bowls.. I NEVER HAD ATHLETES FOOT this bad, and I did not realize I had athletes foot until 2-3 days from having a pedicure at this place. If I can take a picture of my foot right about now, I would!!!! Its soo badly peeled and patchy and red, looks horrible to even wear sandals. I don't even think the lady that did my pedicure sanitized the pedicure bowl good enough. I am completely upset and will not be coming back at all. read more

I LOVE this place! And, I am so excited that they have brought back the paraffin wax treatment which was unavailable during the summer months, understandably. I keep coming back to 675 Nails for many reasons. To name a few: 1. The owner, Angela, and her technicians are very friendly and courteous. 2. They maintain the cleanliness of the place as well as their respective work areas. 3. The technicians take great care not to hurt you. This is a big one for me because my cuticles are so thin and delicate! 4. Relaxing massages! 5. I am almost always happy with how my nails turn out. On the very rare times (only twice) I wasn't happy, it was because of poor color choice (on my part) and the technician didn't realize the polish needed a little thinner. 6. Paraffin wax treatment for your hands and feet! read more

675 is great. Very friendly, clean and easy access. Best manicures and pedicures in Chicagoland area! Have been going for about a year because manicures and pedicures are so outstanding. Had a pedicure the other day and loved the treatment but didn't like the color I chose. Came back, they replaced the color and wouldn't let me pay. I tried this place earlier today after work. The manager was nice and friendly when I walk in. But then the middle-aged lady who took care of my mani-pedi changed mood when it get to doing mani. After I payed off and gave tip. She gave me a slight frown while working on my mani and after doing it she told me to go to the drying station. Once she sat me down, she seems to be In a hurry and didn't even give me a final back massage while waiting for my nails to dry. Then I wondered when I saw other customers seated next to me and was given a back massage for why she was such in a hurry. But then again I might not come back to that place. read more

I've been going to 675 for over 20 years and have seen many different owners, but have now changed nail salons. Services have decreased in quality but increased in price. The cost of a no-chip manicure has gone up to $40 and pedicures are $35.00. The no-chip manicures last around seven days and then start chipping. The owner lurks behind the customers, making for a weird "watch" experience. They used to give shoulder and neck massages but no longer do that. The pedicures come with a perfunctory massage. There is a high turnover of manicurists. They have a reward card in which you get a free manicure after 10 stamps. It used to be that you'd get two stamps when you'd have a mani and pedi together. Hannah, the owner, switched that and now you get one stamp even if you have two services. So I would go in on one day for a pedi and two days later a mani. Silly game to play. I'm not sure what happened with the quality of the manicures or the services, but I have switched salons. Broke my heart to stop going to 675 Nails. read more
