This was my go to place for gel manis and pedis so I've been here 5/6 times. I've had a few different people do my nails and they've all been wonderful--they are super nice and make your nails look great. My last two visits however made me move on. I did a gel mani and the manicure starting peeling not even a week in. I thought, maybe it was due to the humidity in the area I was visiting, because I hadn't experienced this with my gel nails done at Polish before. Then I went back to Polish for a dip mani, after doing a dip elsewhere. The process took 2 hours (not sure if this is normal, but it could be due to my original set being down elsewhere). My nails came out gorgeous and I loved them. The tech had followed the design perfectly. Unfortunately, they chipped less than two weeks in. The dip nails that I had gotten elsewhere didn't chip at all during the 4 weeks I kept them on. They do beautiful nails here, but it seems you'll need to find the right go to person for a consistently lasting mani. Update in response to Anthony: My brown French tips nails were done by the owner, Anthony, in April '22, and my gorgeous pink nails were done by Haley in Aug '22. Called ahead and made appointments and so happy i did, while we were there, they were having to turn people away for walk-ins since they were so busy. My nail tech had such cute little starburst designs and i asked if she could do some on mine. One of my daughters also wanted it on hers, so she did the cute little designs. So fun, and beautiful!!! We decided to stop into Polish during a vacation in the area and it was the perfect spot. Everyone that works there is friendly and professional. They were even worried about separating my friend and I even though she was getting a pedicure and I was getting a manicure. They're super sweet! Plus our nails look great for the trip now! One note - we did call about 10:30 to make an afternoon appt on a Friday and it was no problem but when people tried to come in with no appt while we were there around 4:30, they had to wait a while, so I'd suggest calling in advance. read more

I don't think I've ever been to a nail salon with such sweet staff! The woman who tends to answer the phone calls everyone "honey" and it's so lovely! I would love to have gorgeous long nails, however, I rock climb, so they need to be very short. This is the first salon where they don't seem irritated at me for this preference and don't try and convince me otherwise. Their gel manicures have treated me very well. This was my first pedicure in about two years and I was very pleased with the service i received at Polish Nails & Spa, along with their prices. Highly recommend you check them out. I had scheduled an appointment for the afternoon and when I arrived they were very prompt in getting me set up. I picked out my polish color and was then directed to a chair in the back room past the manicure stations. Each chair has a plexi divider hanging between them and the soaking basins are lined with plastic wrap for easy sanitation. My technician was Angel and she was very kind and attentive. After soaking, filing, and cuticle and callus removal, she proceeded to massage my feet and legs. Then onto polish! She was quick but took her time to remove any excess on my skin or at the base of the nail. I had a very enjoyable time here and will plan on stopping by the next time I'm in the area. Plus it only cost $32! I appreciated their precautions for Covid, which included employees and customers who were unvaccinated wearing masks and sanitizing the chairs in-between clients. read more

Hands down the best manicure I have ever gotten. I saw Haley, and she was super friendly. I told her that I was pregnant and really concerned about infections, so we just pushed cuticles back instead of trimming them. I loved that she listened to my specific concerns. After getting a few decent pedicures here, I decided to let them do a dip powder mani on me. I live close and was trying to find a place closer to me that does as good of a job as the salon I was driving out to Lafayette for. Dip powder manicures last for a month on me and I am a teacher who works with her hands a lot! After 1 day a nail popped clean off when I was opening a cabinet. No big deal. I've had these randomly come off before so I just figured it was a one-off and went and got it fixed. Not TWO HOURS after I got that one fixed did another pop clean off like the first...almost like a step was skipped that bonds the powder to your nail? It didn't crack or break, just fell off. I was mad after that and realized it was more about poor craftsmanship than anything I did. I went and got a whole new set at my normal salon and will not be back to Polish. Guess I'll keep driving out to Luxe which has NEVER given me less than a perfect dip mani. read more

I forgot that they can't work on my nails while I'm getting a pedicure since I was doing acrylics And didn't have enough time to do both separately. The guy who was at the front desk, I think he's the manager, brought the stuff over to start working on my nails so that I would be able to leave on time. They were all very kind and helpful.
