I just had my first facial at Orange Poppy with Savannah, I had the better than 8hrs facial. Savannah was delightful, personable, informative and gave me a fabulous facial! I left feeling like my skin looked much more hydrated, my whole jawline felt and looked tighter and i was very relaxed. What a FANTASTIC manicure from Madison! The space is super clean, comfortable & quiet. They only do natural nails, but use Dazzle Dry polish, which is so much better for your nails! Very cute place and service was great. However the chairs for the pedicure are terribly uncomfortable and not suited for short people (I'm 5'2"). You can't relax your neck because the chair only supports up to your mid back, and the foot stand doesn't move much, so there is really no relaxing. The $95 pedicure that included a hot stone massage was no where near worth it. The stones were not used correctly and she was barely massaging me. Extremely light touch, felt more like a warm towel tickling my ankles and feet. Extremely disappointed. For that price point I was expecting a much better massage, and a chair that I would be comfortable in to actually tilt my head back and relax. I don't usually spend this kind of money on myself but I am 9 months pregnant and wanted to treat myself. The pedicure was the one thing that came out very nicely, she was gentle and did a great job. I have yet to find out how well the polish will hold up. read more

I love Orange Poppy! First of all, they do the BEST manicure in town by far. Candice and Bobbie are both great and each time I've had a mani-pedi there it lasts 2+ weeks (and I play guitar and work with horses) and it's not gel! The vibe here is also wonderfully welcoming to all. Parking is easy, the space is clean and inviting, and I feel great about the products they're using, knowing they are safe and ethical. This is a big girl spa in little girl clothes! Everyone is friendly, sensitive and professional (as all spas should be!) but the positive energy here was palpable! Orange Poppy offers an amazing array of facials (I plan to try them all!) plus nail and skin care services, as well a number of products with a regenerative focus! This salon has issues. Their biggest problem is management. Joyce is snotty and passive aggressive and the owner is very uptight but unwilling to look at their issues. First, I went to this salon to get my hair highlighted and it was not booked properly so the stylist only darkened it. She had such a sour personality (multiple people have commented on it) that I chose a different one. I was 12 minutes late for a 2.5 hour appointment so the refused crevice and CHARGED me. Then, I rescheduled with another stylist to get highlights. She was sweet but when I saw how light it was (not what I asked for), I told her right away that it was going to need to be toned. I then went out of town on a trip for a week. As soon as I got back I called immediately and said I needed to get in to get my hair fixed because she had made it a little later than I had planned. They proceeded to charge me for this THIRD appointment and the worst part is she made my hair completely blonde and green when my specific request was to have it darkened. The worst part though is the manager. She was rude and trying to hide behind their policy of seven days even though I told Jenny right away that my hair was going to need to be fixed but that I had to leave town immediately. I sent them photos and the manager proceeded to agree but was unapologetic that I have to go in a FOURTH time to try and get my hair fixed and that my hair is now severely damaged and that they've charged me well over $400 for coloring appointments that have ruined my hair. This is not a way to run a business. UPDATE: the owner accosted me on my way out demanding I tell the story AGAIN. She agreed the new stylist said the color was NOT okay but was snippy as could be about it. She got all victim-y about me writing this honest review and when I said I would only change the review once the relationship improved, the conversation turned south. The salon is mediocre. My stylist today was the only good one there. If you are a person who is ever 5-10 minutes late for an appointment, you will not like the stress of this place. They start calling you at 3 minutes after and charge you at 10 minutes after. 15-20 is acceptable and standard. 5-10 is not. I would look elsewhere for a more relaxed, higher level experience. read more

I am admittedly very particular about my nails, and even with the other good reviews was still skeptical about trying Orange Poppy - I'm so glad I was proven wrong! Sierra has an eye for color as she does for cutting. She is extremely knowledgeable on skin care and products, but most importantly- she is a great person. We ended up doing microdermabrasion with my custom facial and my skin has never been more smooth and is glowing now! She also recommended a Vitamin A and Vitamin C to add to my skin routine that aren't too harsh and can use daily. Loving these products so far. Great place! Got my lash extensions done by Brandy, pretty good artist! She does a pretty good job however she doesn't do "clusters". She also won't know what you mean if you refer the lash lengths as letters. I do love that she accepts transfer clients, and super straight forward, she mentions that boulder was really dry so my lashes would probably fall off more than that of getting it done in california and said to return if it was pretty bad. I took that as getting a free touch up, definitely not the type! She refilled me for $75 for the second time, I didn't make it to two weeks. :( Anyhow, definitely no glue burn after applications and she's gentle! The rest of the staffs are super accomodating and just like any other salon, offer drinks. Very clean and has a lot of character. read more

If I could give Brook Lyn 6 stars I would! I've been seeing Brook Lyn regularly for over a year now for lash + brow tints, lash lifts and even brow laminations! I had never heard of brow laminations and it was Brook Lyn's idea that it would look great for my brows/face. I was scared to try it because it lasts 8+ weeks, but I trust her eye, and now I loveee them and I'm hooked! She really listens to what you want, cares about how you feel, and has an amazing artist's eye and the attention to detail that I would have for my own face! Which is saying a lot, because I'm extremely particular about the look and feel of things. For something as personal as your face, you want everything to be *just right* and it blows me away that literally every single time, it is. We've had fun dialing in the perfect color mixes for me over time too. And once you hone in on something you love, she never forgets. You don't even have to ask. I also have extremely sensitive skin, and the products they use at Orange Poppy actually work for me! No issues. These treatments make me feel great, and at this point I literally do them *instead* of wearing makeup most of the time. It looks better and more natural than makeup in my opinion, and is so much easier too because it lasts 1-3 months instead of 1 day! And I have noticed 0 unfortunate side effects for the health of my lashes, brows, or skin. Brook Lyn also creates a wonderful atmosphere where you can have fun conversation if you want, or lay in silence and drift into a relaxed meditative state while you trust her to take care of you. My Mom and I wanted to get a blowout/style for a wedding we went to. The wedding was on a Sunday, and almost no salons were open! Orange Poppy Spa saved the day. Tracy Ryan gave us beautiful blowouts that lasted the ENTIRE day. We went in around 10am and my hair looked beautiful when I got home at 11pm after a great wedding.
