After 7 months of quarantine and poorly painting my own nails, I decided it was finally time to visit a nail salon and I'm so glad this is the one I chose. The salon is very clean, the staff is incredibly professional, and everyone is wearing masks, with plexiglass barriers at the manicure tables. We all have to wash our hands immediately upon entering. I appreciated all of these measures to keep us and their staff safe. COVID aside, I really enjoyed my experience! Diane was my nail artist, and she was so kind and pleasant to chat with. She really took her time and made sure every nail was perfect. Her attention to detail is wonderful. I didn't feel rushed at all as I sometimes have felt at other salons. My pedicure was wonderful and she did a great job scrubbing months of calluses away and used great scrubs and massage oils that they make out of natural ingredients in house. For the nail polishes, they even offer a wide selection of more natural and organic nails polishes, including gel varieties. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely look forward to returning! Definitely make an appointment to come here! read more

I really, really like this nail salon. It's clean and very inviting; they offer the polish that I love (Zoya); and it's really conveniently located near the Ashby BART station! In addition to the BART proximity, they also have available parking in front of the shop which is a HUGE plus if you've ever tried to park in Berkeley. Diane is pretty much the only person I want to ever give me a pedicure. She's very meticulous and makes sure your feet and nails are kept healthy and ingrown nail free. So glad I tried this place out! Got a gel mani/regular pedi with Kim and she does great work!! Her attention to detail making sure your nails look beautiful is why I'll be coming back. She gave me some tips on how to keep my nails healthy and we had nice conversation while she worked on my nails. The space is bright and clean, feels calm with modern decor and comfy chairs. It's peaceful since they are primarily by appointments which is nice since you don't feel rushed to get to the next client. They do take walk-ins but I think it's best to make an appointment. Parking was metered and easy on a Wednesday morning. I usually don't share my awesome nail techs with the world, but this place is amazing and I hope their business thrives! I'm super disappointed with their customer service. I am new to Berkeley and I made an appointment with them on a Tuesday for a Friday afternoon. The lady was able to fit me into her schedule over the phone but when I called on Friday to re-confirm she claimed that my name wasn't in the system at all. She told me I must have booked somewhere else when in reality check they were the only place I even called. I had a huge event the next day and had to call a bunch of different places just to get my nails done. So stressful!! They left me hanging and pretended like it was on me. The lady over the phone was not accommodating and did not even try to "squeeze" me in although I clearly remember setting up an appointment with her specifically. Won't be supporting them, it felt very shady and the lack of accountability is a huge no for me! I never leave reviews but this situation really left a poor taste in my mouth. read more
