I booked a Brazilian sugaring appointment with Annalyse and boy was she amazing! She really got to know me personally while sugaring to keep me calm and not thinking about the pain. I am laying on the table while writing this review! This is how AMAZING Tran did! I had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel completely at ease. Tran was incredibly patient and took the time to listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail was simply outstanding. She took the time to ensure that every hair was removed with precision and care. I was impressed by the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated by the staff. I also got the V- Facial and she was amazing with helping me choose which masks would best suite my lady area! She talked me through everything and we even had laughs, DURING the wax. She continued to check on me to make sure I was comfortable and made sure EVER hair was removed. Overall, I left feeling completely satisfied and refreshed. This opened up very close to my home so I thought I would try it out to save the travel time to San Ramon and Walnut Creek . I have not been here for waxing. My husband has tried a few techs here but prefers Radiant Waxing in San Ramon so no longer goes. I have come here for a lash lift and brow lamination from Shanelle twice. It was good though I prefer the benefit bar for brows. I'm going out of town so I came yesterday for a lash lift and tint with someone else because shanelle was not in. Here's what I experienced: #1) I waited almost 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. ( never checked in on or even spoken to) #2) Tech was clearly stressed and dysregulated.. was in and out of the room on the phone . Not her fault I'm sure as they were understaffed. #3) My tech proceeded to tape and un-tape my under eyes (no gels) until I was in tears #4) I had product in my eyes (also in tears) #5) the tech left laminate and dye all over my eye lids (which I had to wash off this morning , defeating the purpose of the lift) #6) I text a picture of the laminate and dye on my lids this morning and they said "next time will be complimentary" I informed them I will never go back. Maybe this place is ok for waxing. But not everyone should be handling these chemicals so haphazardly near the delicate eyes of clients! read more

Her white board when you come in her room welcoming is also super cute and personal I love that you can feel that the staff enjoys their job and customers. When you walk in everything is so clean, cute and girly, I love the pink aesthetic. I had gone somewhere else for a first wax and it hurt so bad I had to leave and couldn't finish but with Valerie sugaring there's only minor discomfort and her talking is always a nice distraction and next thing you know you're done and after months of going you see such a difference in hair growth that you can't go back to shaving! UPDATE: Morning after my wax and owe! I got a Brazilian and my back side is super sore. I had to do my own research on after care because it was not discussed with me after my appointment. I can't say how much of waste this was. Ok the only reason I'm giving three stars is because Natalie was so nice while giving me a wax. Honestly a little too nice. After every pull, it was "are you ok?" "Are you ok"? I like to zone out during a wax so it was kinda hard for me. Aftercare was never discussed. I tried asking her before the wax but she never told me anything. When I walked in the place smelled clean. I was brought back to the room where I was given my wax, it was really small. The work space given to their employees is so much smaller than previous wax places I've been. Their work station is a book shelf! A book shelf! Every other waxing salon I've been to has a movable station with all of their equipment on it. The picture I posted, is hair stuck in wax from someone before me. There was wax on the walls in other spots as well. I couldn't take pictures of everything as I was never left alone to undress or redress. I was not told any after care instructions. I didn't think I'd have gotten anything concerning after care unless I'd made the effort to take the one photo (posted) and used the cover up saying I was grabbing a pamphlet (unknowing it was for aftercare.) I will not be going back to this company. Corporate time to STEP UP! Give your employees a decent workspace!! Where the tables aren't up against the wall. Instead they're in the middle of the room where they can maneuver more easily for the customers satisfaction and to make them more comfortable. It was super uncomfortable in the room. Also invest in music that doesn't get cut off and stop every 5 minutes. This place was pretty bad. read more
