Alka’s Brow Studio - After! - Threading Services Near Me - Danville, California

For years, I had been getting my eyebrows threaded at another establishment, but it became difficult to visit my favorite technician during her working hours. So, I turned to Yelp to find a new brow studio that I would truly love. I had noticed this particular studio for years while dining at Vitality Bowls, as I would often look out the window at it. Yesterday, I submitted a request for an appointment, and today I came in for my brow service. I was very pleased with the results! My eyebrows are even and clean, the process was super quick and painless, and Alka was incredibly nice. Everything about this appointment made me very happy, and I can't wait to visit Alka again! read more

Alka Brows will be my regular threading spot! I've been going to URs in Concord for years and just visited Alka Brows yesterday. Alka did an amazing job with my eyebrows and they've never looked better. She took the time to understand what I wanted and walked me through how she was going to shape my eyebrows, as I wanted more symmetry! The thread she uses is thinner than other places that I've gone to. I usually tear up when I get my eyebrows threaded, but with Alka that didn't happen! I would highly recommend coming to Alka! read more

I really don't know how she does it, haha. She is also incredibly sweet and incredibly generous with her time. :) Plus, the place is gorgeously decorated. I usually get my brows done in Brentwood where I live, but my work is in Danville and needed to find someone local. I looked up eye brow threading. I was a bit nervous as I don't ever go to anyone else, but Alka was amazing. She got all my brows cleaned up and kept my shape. I have thick coarse hairs too that most threaders can't get. I will be back soon! I also bought some jewelry from her! I love the salon. It's cleans and a convenient location in the DT Danville! read more

Thanksgiving pushed my bushy brows past their breaking point - family stress, too much sugar, airplane fumes...I was getting desperate but putting off making a threading appointment because my to-do list was so long... Luckily, I was running errands when I remembered I saw a new threading shop - Alka's Brow Studio - so I decided to swing by and see if I could do a walk-in appointment - and I did! I believe in supporting new businesses - God Bless anyone with the courage to venture out. I immediately felt comfortable in Alka's studio. It's very clean and bright. Alka is very friendly and nice. She knows what she's doing. I requested a little cleanup and trim and she did just that. I asked her about her other services and she mentioned she does eyebrow tinting - Say What?! I'm suddenly tint-curious. I have never tinted my eyebrows before - but they are a mousey brown, so I use an eyebrow pencil to darken them. I asked her if she could tint mine - and she did! They look great - I can put that pencil in the back of the drawer for 4 weeks. She knows what she's doing. I hope she grows her business - she is an esthetician and wants to expand to other services like facials. Support Alka! Your new, shapely, dark, alluring, amazing brows will thank you. read more
