Beware of eyebrow aesthetician - SIMRAN !! I asked her if she can be gentle with my skin and that I get a lot of cuts. She told me she is doing recklessly on my skin because she doesn't think she needs to be gentle with my skin. I asked her why would say such a thing and told her this was so unprofessional the way she is talking to me and breaking thread on my face and being aggressive, she gave me many cuts and said she should have refused service to me. This is the BEST place to get your eyebrows done!!! The owner Kiki has multiple locations including Walnut Creek, San Ramon and Blackhawk. I have been going to her since high school (7 years now) and she is the only person I go to for my eyebrows. Wouldn't even leave a single star. Just got my eyebrows done by the one and only Kiki herself. Assuming she was a pro- considering the business is named after her- I didn't think she would completely obliterate my eyebrows. Once I walked out and saw the damage she had done, I started sobbing. She completely removed the ends of my hair. I've been getting my eyebrows done at Kiki's for years- even traveling from SF bc I loved the ladies at this place but I will not give my business to her anymore. Asked no questions and just went straight into it. A lesson for myself- ALWAYS MAKE IT CLEAR WHAT YOU WANT AND DON'T. Let's just hope my eyebrow hairs grow back. After further inspection, the damage is even worse than I thought. She's completely removed hairs that have never in my life been removed and I've been getting threaded since I was 15- over ten years. This is insanity. I was in town for the week and needed a fill so I decided to book an appointment. At first glance it appeared that she had done a decent job and I was happy; however, when I got home and brushed them out, numerous extension were already falling out. I then realized none of my overgrown lashes that I had mentioned had been replaced. In fact, the ones laid down seem to have been put at a similar marker as the overgrown, making them quite uncomfortable. They continue to fall out and I feel like I will already need a touch up next week, if anything to remove the overgrown. They will work for my events this weekend, but a bit irritated as that's quite a waste of money to have to get two fills back to back. I'm glad they at least blend with the extensions I already had on, but as there were no other appointments I'm disappointed she couldn't have spent a bit more time on them. On top of that, my lash technician had to get up in the middle of our session to assist another client who popped in as her coworker seemed to need help. I didn't hear her wash her hands so I'm hoping something else was used to clean before switching clients. Overall, wish I could be issued a refund. UPDATE: you can see in the attached picture that it turns out she glued an extension to an already existing extension!! You can also see how overgrown the previous extension is that she left. Absolutely ridiculous; if I was still in the area I'd demand a refund. read more

Staff (the threader and the man at the register) were not masked and seemed offended when I asked them to mask. No ventilation or any other sort of covid precaution. Inconsistency is the biggest issue here. Sometimes they get my brows right, other times, I leave with ridiculously thin brows , after I specifically stated to keep them thick and clean up stray hairs. The convenience of this place can't be beat as far as location goes. In the past I would be driving to Dublin to Threads, but when this place opened I gave it a try. It's super clean and the girls are lovely. In the beginning Kiki herself was here and she is awesome, fast and precise. My brows were never happier. Shortly after, there have been other girls working here and it has been hit and miss. I get it, brows aren't supposed to be exactly the same like identical twins. But I would rather mine look like sisters as opposed to long lost cousins. Sometimes they have holes and sometimes they are jagged. I also wish they had more than one person working on weekends. If you go then it may be a 20 minute wait. Maybe worth a trip to the San Ramon location to see Kiki. read more

Management needs to schedule more people to work. The lady working on my line up rushed me out of the door because others were waiting. Not my fault that they get busy and are understaffed. I kept asking for her to fix my line and she just kept trying to finish quickly. I asked her to fix the line again and she said "I have others waiting too". I don't care how busy it is. The manager needs to schedule people more effectively. Business is business and you NEVER rush a customer out of the door especially when they haven't even been taken care of. KIKI is amazing! I have been to many threaders in the past and she is by far the best! She is fast and honestly pain free. I usually turn bright red and have to hide for over an hour after - when she did it, I could resume to my normal activities immediately. She told me she loves doing brows. How cute!
