However, I felt ripped off when I came for a chin wax and they were trying to say that the area pictured here counted as a neck wax. Now I'm not one for arguing so I agreed to pay the extra cost after asking while receiving the service what the heck the extra charge was for at the time, but what was even more ridiculous was that they only had charged me for the chin on previous visits for the same area. They shouldn't offer waxing if they aren't super excited about offering the wax and it wasn't worth $40. I liked the decorations when I went but staff demeanor was always so-so. Not truly welcoming. But again if you're purely interested only in the result and not the experience (or possibly getting ripped off) then this could be an ok place to frequent. I prersonally won't go again.

From my very first appointment, she has always made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. As a bigger girl, waxing, especially Brazilians and glutes, was something I was initially very nervous and self-conscious about. Monique has never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged in any way. She creates such a safe and positive environment that I actually look forward to my appointments with her. She radiates so much positive energy, has an amazing attitude, and is so easy to talk to. She holds a conversation effortlessly and makes the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. While her waxing skills are absolutely amazing, her people skills are truly through the roof. Monique puts 110% effort into every service she provides and has incredible attention to detail. I get Brazilians and glutes done with her, and she always takes the time to go back over everything and make sure she gets every single hair. I never feel like she is rushing through an appointment just to get to the next client. She is also extremely knowledgeable about esthetics and skincare. I have sensitive skin and have dealt with ingrown hairs, and Monique has always taken the time to educate me on what products I should be using and how to properly care for my skin between appointments. You can tell that she genuinely knows her craft and cares about getting the best possible results for every client. Monique's dedication is also incredible. Even throughout her pregnancy, she continues to show up and give her clients the same amazing level of service, which says so much about her work ethic, drive, and commitment to the people who trust her with their services. I would confidently recommend Monique to absolutely anyone because I know she will give them a 10/10 experience and results. She deserves all the praise and definitely a raise! I really appreciated that level of accountability, so I decided to come back and give this place another try and I'm so glad I did. This time, I specifically asked for a different tech, and the experience was completely different. Holly was the main person who worked with me, and she was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly meticulous, patient, and really paid attention to every little detail. She spent almost 2 hours on my nails and made sure everything was done properly without rushing. Gil (I believe that's her name as I didn't catch it at the beginning) also helped during the process, which honestly made the whole experience feel even more attentive and pampering. Between the two of them, I felt really well taken care of. Holly even apologized at the beginning for my prior experience, even though it wasn't her fault at all, which I really appreciated. She constantly checked in to make sure I liked how my nails were turning out and was more than willing to fix even the smallest detail before I left. Overall, I really appreciated the care, professionalism, and effort this time around. Huge thank you to Holly and Gil. I'll definitely be coming back!
