Tonight we first tried another boba place nearby, but it was closed. So we came to Polba Tea. They open till 10pm. Love that! Got the Strawberry Yogurt Shake and Cloudy Watermelon. They were both so good I honestly can't say which is better. Try both.
Colorful, creative, and cozy I visited Polba Tea for the first time and I'm already excited to come back. The shop is super cute and colorful, with a fun, welcoming atmosphere. They have a self-ordering screen, which made the process smooth and easy. I really appreciate that their drinks aren't overly sweet -- when I chose 25% sweetness, it actually tasted like 25%! A lot of places say that, but few get it right. Their menu is creative and vibrant, with lots of unique drink combinations and fun toppings I haven't seen elsewhere. It's definitely a place that puts thought into their offerings. Also, they stay open until 10 PM on Sundays, which is later than most tea shops around -- perfect for a late-night treat. The staff was friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. I've only been once so far, but Polba Tea made a great first impression. I'll definitely be back!
My cousin informed me last week that this place now has the banana matcha drink so I made a stop here Saturday morning. At around 10:45am, it wasn't too busy but there were a few people in at the time. The place is cute and has some tables where you can chill or study at. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. I've been looking for a place with banana matcha. I realized after I saw the menu that it was banana toffee matcha and not banana pudding matcha. I still ordered it anyway though since that was closest to what I was looking for. The drink was good! It did have a stronger toffee taste than banana. I noticed their menu has some other unique drinks that not many other places have as well. I'll definitely be back to try some of them!
Came here with a group of friends a few nights ago and it was empty when we arrived. We weren't greeted when we walked in and the few employees working just looked at us. We placed our orders on the kiosk and sat down to wait for our drinks. Our drinks were: 1 Banana toffee matcha 1 Strawberry matcha 1 Oreo brown sugar milk tea 1 Caramel brulee brown sugar milk tea 1 Tiramisu milk tea 1 Strawberry croffle All our drinks came out at different times and by now the place was pretty busy. My caramel brulee milk tea was way too sweet for my liking and not enough ice was given. The ice melted fast and so it got warm quickly. The banana toffee matcha was plain and tasted just like milk, nothing else. The strawberry matcha was good and actually tasted like strawberry. The tiramisu milk tea had no unique flavor and tasted like pure milk. The Oreo brown sugar milk tea was ok - this one had a good amount of ice. My friend didn't like the croffle as he said it was too dry. Customer service was non existent as the employees were not friendly. Not sure if they were shy or just didn't want to be there. It was also VERY warm inside as the AC was not on. Thy had a small portable one going on but it was definitely not enough for such a big space.....
My drink was way too sweet but at the same time had no flavor. It just tasted just like plain milk, not tiramisu. The inside was a bit dirty and the table we sat at had crumbs and dried up drink residue on it. The employees watched us walk in but they did not say a word to us so we just ordered on the kiosk. It was hot inside and they had a portable AC unit on but it wasn't enough. I wouldn't come here again.
One of the best matcha's I've had here in Arizona! We got the Matcha Einspanner and the Banana Toffee Matcha, and they were both sooo delicious! Great matcha flavor and the color was nice and vibrant. My only critique would be that we were not greeted when we walked in. With this boba shop having a self serve kiosk, the employees do not interact with the customers much. It would've been nice to just hear a "hello!" or "welcome in!" upon entering. It makes a big difference. Other than that, I'm already planning a trip back here. They even offered a stamp card that gives a free drink after 10 stamps. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good matcha spot in the area!
I needed a Monday afternoon pick me up, and this place did the trick! I ordered the tiramisu coffee and added boba. It was delicious, the perfect amount of sweet, and the caffeine from the coffee definitely helped me get through the remainder of the day. The inside was nice, plenty of seating and even some games if you plan on hanging out for a while. They also had a self service cash register set up. The people working were all really nice. I will probably come back here and try some of the other drinks they had!
Tried their matcha einspanner and banana toffee matcha. Both were great, had enough matcha and not too sweet. You have the option of ordering on the tablet or at the front. Great way to keep the line moving. A great spot to get some work or studying done. Next time, I'll try the hojicha einspanner!
Polba Tea is a solid boba shop in the Chandler area serving quality drinks and is open til 11pm! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice modern setup with about 5-6 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a good selection of different milk tea, fruit tea, coffee, matcha, and slushie drinks. Wifey and I stopped by for some refreshments after our dinner and got the Wintermelon and the Classic Milk Tea. Both drinks hit the spot and were definitely not too overly sweet! Overall, this is a solid spot for a boba run. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. If you ever have those boba cravings and are in the area, this is the spot to hit up!
The people in the shop were nice, my review is solely on the boba drink I ordered. I got the Thai tea with boba and egg pudding. The drink was so watered down I was very disappointed, especially when I saw the pictures before I ordered - a good Thai tea has a dark layer and a milk layer that creates the orange when mixed. This drink tasted like it was very watered down and the boba was also a bit rough and not very chewy. I can't believe they have a 4+ star rating, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I definitely don't recommend getting the Thai tea.
It's a cute cafe with a decent amount of inside seating and is nicely decorated. There's a decent amount of drink options and there are also some great Vietnamese snack options too. Service was quick and friendly. Drink was refreshing and tasty. Prices are average and reasonable.
The staff are very nice. But their mill tea is even better. This place has so much. It's actually so good.
If you haven't tried this spot, you're missing out! The honey green tea is one of my favorites at this place- no one else does is the way they do! The service is always friendly and quick, and the seating is comfortable. They have multiple booths and cute decor with free wifi. They have a good selection of snacks and toppings to choose from. Tried the jelly cat with mango and wow was it good! Super fun to eat too. We'll be back!

I ordered roasted Oolong milk tea 25% ice, oat milk. The flavor was not too bad, but they added too much ice in the tea. It only took me three sips to finish the whole cup of tea. If not considering the cheated way to reduce the amount of tea, the flavor is not too bad. read more

My only complaint is that the overhead menu is very high and the writing is too small. The milk teas and sparkling drinks were tasty and even though the egg rolls were small and kinda overpriced for an order of 2, they were pretty good. The fries and mozzarella sticks were ok, but nothing to brag about and even though they had pho and other dishes on the menu, the cashier told me they weren't serving that part of the menu. Not sure why, as no time was specified on the menu, but oh well, I usually just go for the drinks anyway. read more

I came here since the drinks were cheaper than other places in the area with good reviews but the drinks were straight up milk no flavor at all unfortunately...there was also this odd smell (like sewage water) near the ordering kiosk as well. I most definitely would not be coming here again ;( The one star is for the ambiance/decor inside..! read more

My favorite spot their fresh fruit tea is the best ever i get fresh fruit tea zero sweetner and chia seeds its my favorite drink read more
Well designed, clean, modern looking interior and good drinks! I got the matcha crème brûlée and I really enjoyed the eggy sweet flavor and the fun, soft texture of the drink. Only con about the drink is that I ordered 50% sweet but they gave me 100% sweet on accident but honestly, it was fine. It was surprisingly not overly sweet. The popcorn chicken was good but could be made way better with more seasoning! If it was seasoned well, I think it could easily be one of my favorite popcorn chickens as I like everything else about it. read more
After buying all the items on my big grocery shopping list at Fry's I passed this retail space. There was a sign rippling in the wind advertising soft opening 20% off. Who doesn't like a deal when trying a brand new place? After reading the menu, the eager to please workers were happy to answer questions regarding the ingredients. My daughter (a Boba tea lover) and myself (coffee lover) ordered a brown sugar boba $6.49 and an oreo matcha creme brulee $7. After a short wait our items were ready to enjoy. The oreo matcha creme brulee was sweet, creamy as you would expect and had jelly like creme brulee pieces. I wish the matcha was more prominent and the jelly throughout the drink was different in texture but enjoyable. I prefer boba/tapioca balls better. :) We enjoyed our time in the comfy green chairs surrounded by tranquil grey interior and green silk plants adorned on every table. In the short time we spent, new customers entered and ordered items to go. We had the 55 seat space to ourselves for a brief peaceful time. I like to support non-chain businesses and can see myself returning after another large shopping run! read more

I heard about this place because they participate in hosting k-pop related events. It was quite the journey from Phoenix to Chandler, but the event that I attended was very cute and I'm glad that I was able to try the specialty drink. I ordered the lychee dragonfruit tea with lychee jelly (normal sugar and ice) and it was pretty good, paired with two pieces of lychee and not too sweet. The people I went with ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee, and they enjoyed it. Since mine was an event specific drink, it was around $8 (although some drinks were up to $12 each), so I'm sure their normal menu is cheaper. Like many boba shops, there is a variety of board games that you could play while sipping on your drink. I think I would possibly come back depending on the theme of future events, but that's only because of the time and distance between us. read more

I got the lychee strawberry sparkling polba. The ingredients taste so fresh, the Perrier is perfectly bubbly and it 1000% satisfied my craving. The girls working we're so helpful and patient while I decided between the sparkling drink vs the watermelon slushie, and the level of sweetness. I will DEFINITELY be going back! read more

My friends and cousins went there many times. The thing I like most is the atmosphere is very peaceful and comfortable, the employees are affable and adorable. Plus, the drink that make me fall into it is Oreo matcha cream brulee and the food is scrumptious as well. Highly recommend everyone to try oreo matcha cream brulee read more
