Regular Bowl

The location was spacious and clean. The young lady working that day was friendly and helpful. Portions and quality were amazing for the price. Great spot for a cool refreshing lunch.

This place is my favorite poki place. The portions are huge! The fish is super fresh. I love all their extra selection you can pick. I got the 3 protein bowl with half rice and half spring salad. My favorite way to get my poki bowl. I picked salmon- scallops and shrimp. With imagination crab, corn, seaweed salad, edamame, green onion, tempura crisps, fried onions, & seaweed All that for $16.18. I think it was worth it all. I will definitely be back here.

Portions are huge! They have all my favorite mix ins and toppings. I got a Large plate with 4 proteins. I chose salmon, tuna, scallops and seared ahi tuna. Sauce was spicy miso and spicy mayo. Tasty! This will be my go to poke spot anytime I'm in Oceanside

Medium Poké Bowl From POKÉ POKÉ in Oceanside Spring mix lettuce Shrimp Seared Albacore Octopus This place never disappoints it was incredibly fresh and delicious I DRIZZLED MISO DRESSING OVER THE TOP YUMMY

Hardly topped with any ingredients and no sauce!

This used to be my to go place for pokiI would drive out of my way to only go here when I wanted poki. They just switch management and it's no where near what it used to be, the potions have been cut and prices raised. They barely added any sauce to top off. I asked for extra sauce and they only gave me 1 small container and said that's all they can give me. My bowl was dry and flavorless. I'm terribly disappointed and won't be ever going back again. So many of my friends love this location as a to go place because the portions were huge for the almost $20 for a regular size. Well not anymore! Be aware. That if you loved this place it's not what it used to be.

I had a bunch of items on my plate but you can add what you like. Spicy crab and avocado cost extra.

Ask the Community - Poki Poki - Oceanside

As of yesterday they are open.?

Yes, I got Poké from the Oceanside location last night.

How do I find the calories in a large bowl?

Hello, I'm actually an employee here. We put approximately 1 cup to 1 and 1/2 cups of rice in each size bowl, so you can just look up the calories for that amount. The next time you come in, you can ask for more or less rice, as well, and we're… Read more

On this last visit, we had the chance to meet the owner and chef, and they, along with the entire staff, were incredibly kind and attentive. It was my first time dining at the bar counter, and the experience was just as lovely as ever. We ordered some of our go-to favorites, but also tried a few new dishes like the beef tartare, which was fantastic. The chef's special with green mussels and spicy coconut curry both looked amazing and tasted even better. We finished with a dessert that was light and perfectly balanced between tart and sweet. As always, an incredible experience--we'll definitely be back again soon.

Nearly everything we tried was bursting with flavor, well-deserving of the Michelin Bib Gourmand designation the restaurant has earned the past five years. The food is served family style, and the cocktail menu is unique. Conveniently, there is also a good amount of street parking around the restaurant, even on bustling weekends. To start, I had the black rose, an agave wine cocktail with black sesame, rose orgeat, and egg white. I'm not sure the blend of flavors worked, but it was certainly unique. We also tried the gypsy king (their version of a spicy margarita) and the pandan, lime, and coconut mocktail, both of which were decent. For the small plates, we agreed that the charred eggplant and sea bream ceviche were stellar. The sambal shined with the eggplant, and the cassava chips paired perfectly with the makrut lime and coconut cream in the ceviche. The roti was just alright - nothing to write home about. The pork belly skewers were juicy and well-flavored, although we had finished all our small and large plates by the time the skewers came out (we had to ask about them - the waiters/kitchen likely forgot about our skewers, as multiple tables seated after us received theirs before we did). The ayam penyet, nasi goreng, and beef rendang were delicious and well thought-out dishes. We agreed that while the menu is heavily Indonesian-inspired and the food features the flavors of Southeast Asia, the dishes are quite Americanized. Dija Mara shines in presenting a typically uncommon cuisine in the U.S. in an easily accessible manner, which is laudable. Would recommend everyone try at least once.

When you walk into the restaurant, you see all things Japanese, pop culture and drinks/snacks. You can get a canned/bottled drink, or around the corner, you can get a beer on tap or cocktail. You can get a menu from the counter and decide while you wait in line. The line moved fast. Then you take a number to your table. Most of their seating is outside, some in a covered patio. If you get a drink at the bar, you can sit at those tables. They had a big screen with the padre game on, no sound. I love tonkatsu, so I will say yes anytime anyone in San Diego wants to get ramen. I would say Gonzo does the toppings very well. The highlight was the chashu. The broth flavor was great, very deep, but personally I like mine a bit thicker, 8/10. If you like a thinner tonkatsu, this may be your favorite. The noodles were also very firm. When they brought our bowls, they offered a few extra sauces to make it spicier, they aren't just on the table. The staff was all very friendly and provided great service. Even two staff said bye as we walked out.

The spicy mixed chicken had great flavor with just the right amount of heat. Overall the food tasted fresh, authentic, and well executed. We started with the spicy pot, which came out bubbling hot and packed with ingredients. It had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the flavors were rich and savory. It had a strong cumin flavor, which makes this dish pretty authentic. Get this dish with rice, the sauces goes well with it. The soup noodles with fried pork were super comforting. The broth was light but flavorful, and the fried pork added a really nice crispy texture that balanced well with the noodles. My nephew likes noodles but without alot of flavor so this dish was perfect for him. The fried dumplings were crispy on the bottom with juicy filling inside--exactly what you want. We also got the steamed chicken with chili oil, which was tender and coated in that classic fragrant, slightly spicy chili oil that adds so much flavor without being too heavy. The green onion pancake was another favorite--crispy, flaky, and airy. It tasted freshly made.
