I was staying in town for work and was looking for lunch to be delivered before heading out for the entire day. Poké was calling my name and Poki Poki was highly rated for delivery as well as being reasonably priced. I went with a "regular" sized "bowl" and WHAT?! I got a massive takeout box filled to the brim! Believe me, I'm not complaining but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a few add ons to my bowl, but overall it was about $23 which was just fine for the quality and the quantity of food. In my bowl I got spicy tuna, cucumber, spicy crab, avocado, salmon, spicy mayo, over white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious and the spicy tuna and spicy mayo was the perfect little kick! All the components tasted super fresh and it was the perfect "bowl" overall. Filling and tasty while still being refreshing. I also got one of their Vietnamese iced coffees and WHEEWWW tread lightly. It was absolutely phenomenal but I was bouncing off the walls. Granted, I needed that for the long day I had ahead, but sometimes that can be too much. 10/10 do recommend though. This used to be my to go place for pokiI would drive out of my way to only go here when I wanted poki. They just switch management and it's no where near what it used to be, the potions have been cut and prices raised. They barely added any sauce to top off. I asked for extra sauce and they only gave me 1 small container and said that's all they can give me. My bowl was dry and flavorless. I'm terribly disappointed and won't be ever going back again. I think this place has a lot of potential, but some of the portions is not consistent across the servers. The younger servers were giving very generous portions but I was disappointed with the portions I received from the older server. I got the large size, so four proteins for a total of $17. One of the four proteins I got was seared ahi, but I was only given two tiny pieces...not worth the extra $2. There was very little fish and in the end I had a lot of rice leftover. I would like to come back because the overall bowl is huge, they have lots of different toppings, a variety of sauces, and different protein options that other places do not have (such as octopus, scallops, seared ahi). I'm used to all the Pokis on Convoy like Poki One and a Half and their portions. I got the 4 scoops- tuna, salmon, octopus and shrimp... and it came with mostly rice, like a lot of rice. Seriously, a lot of rice! The scoops of each were pretty tiny. Too tiny, even the fish cubes were cut in small cubes. But I did like the fish and the shrimp size and quality, nothing was chewy. I love all the Poki Poki locations I've tried, way better than One and Half, but this one seems to be the most generous with the fish and toppings (they all are, but this one even moreso). And it's only 7 minutes from my gym, so I can get my protein after working out. I always get the same thing, and it's enough for 2 meals: large bowl, salad base, medium spicy (this is the first place I've encountered where I had to downgrade from "spicy"), with salmon, tuna, scallops, onion, cucumber, crab scoop, seaweed salad, ginger, masago, green onion, raw jalapenos, radishes, furikake, and fried garlic. If you take rice in your bowl, it would be more like 4 meals. I get poke as a treat twice a month and it has consistently been good, fresh, and a LOT. Enjoy! read more

This Poke restaurant does nothing special but still a great place to go! Poki Poki offers very typical food and entrées. You choose a bowl. You choose some protein. You choose toppings. You eat. This place does nothing outside the normal for Poke restaurants but that is okay! It is still a great place to grab some quick Hawaiian poke and be on your way. It's like the Hawaiian/Asian version of Chipotle. Instead of making a burrito you are ordering fish and other types of seafood over rice. The interior of this place is open for dine-in. Not overly decorated or special inside (or out) but it is spacious and allows for social distancing. There is no exterior seating at Poki Poki. The parking lot shares parking spots with other businesses in the shopping center. The prices are about typical, if not slightly cheaper. Overall, if you are craving for some quick Poke and wondering if it is good, it is. Give it a try! read more

I love Poki and it brings me back to Hawaii every time I have poki. The concept of this place is simple, I'm glad it's caught on here in San Diego since I used to have to drive to LA for my poki fix years ago. The deal is this: 1. you pick your size 2. you pick your base 3. pick your protein 4. pick your sauce and extra sauces 5. pick your toppings This is what I chose: I went with the small (2 scoops) half white rice and half spring salad for my base. For my protein, I got ahi tuna and shrimp, I added on cucumbers. For my sauce, I went with the mild and added on the spicy mayo. As for my toppings, I went with the crab meat, green onions, masago eggs, ginger, and sesame seeds. The bowl came out perfect and for a small, it was rather generous and I had a hard time finishing it. I came here with my old coworkers from my last job just to catch up and they suggested this place. I loved my lunch and it was really filling!
