We ordered hot tea and were pleasantly surprised it was loose leaf roasted green tea and not a tea bag. The rolls themselves were large and delicious. The waitress was very kind and I thought the owner was very sweet to bring out some samples for us to try. The evening started off okay with decent appetizers like the Karage and Gyoza. But when it came to the entrees, it was not my favorite. I will admit we only ordered cooked sushi, and maybe that's not their forté. But the sushi had a noticeable fishy taste, the green bomb was just a mash of mostly rice topped with avocado, and the Cali Poli had the same flavor profile as the bomb despite it being a different fish and presentation style. I love all food, but I had to toss my leftovers away because both my wife and I felt like the food wasn't settling well. I spent $60 for all the food. I'm giving this a 3 star because the staff was super kind, and maybe my wife and I just ordered the wrong things on the menu, but I will not be returning personally.

That said, it was reasonably priced for a poke bowl compared to many other places. I made it in before the rush, felt bad for the gentleman behind the counter he was the only one working and making bowls and drinks because they literally do it all. They have mochi ice cream, macarons, bubble tea, and poke bowls. I like the fact that to help funnel the rush they have a paper you fill out with all the options/toppings that you just hand to him when done and that's how you place the order for the bowl. So it was quick and easy to do. The fact that a bunch of people (not just students) came in right after my order lets me know it is a popular spot. All that to say I enjoyed my bowl as well. I got the two protein bowl and chose salmon and spicy tuna. With all the toppings and it was delicious. Definitely will go back if in the area.

If you like seaweed salad- it's no extra charge and one of my favorite seaweed salad's I've tried. The drinks are amazing (but pretty pricy) and seating area is comfortable and sleek.
