Oddly enough, Poke is a bit of a saturated business in Plano Frisco Allen area. I've tried many but I like this place the best. It's good quality ingredients, simple and uncomplicated, and clean. Not a fan of the one across the street, and the few others I do like is way too out of the way. Best lunch spot read more

I came here already 2times since they opened last week. First time I came because I know this poke time is done by the head chef at Sushi Haruya which is my family's regular weekend-a- go go restaurant. They have 20% off soft opening deal going on now, and upon arrival I saw people were lining up to order their poke bowls. Their menu is simple, easy to understand, and I actually can create lots different bowls by options I would choose from. My first visit, I chose brown rice with salmon, spicy tuna with original poke sauce, Edamame, masago, and as for toppings I chose everything on, which was truly amazing. Unlike other Poke house, their brown rice is soft and flavorful, it was really good. And today, my choice was half salad and half brown rice with Shrimp and Salmon with Hawaiian BBQ sauce, pineapple, Egg, cucumber ginger, Nori.. I was satisfied even better than first time. Their sauce is authentic, one of a kind that you can't find elsewhere because all made by the chef here. Instead of mixing all the ingredients on the bowl, I like to eat off the toppings first as if it's an appetizer for the meal. Then I eat the base with well seasoned proteins, that way I can enjoy the original taste of each ingredient. I will definitely come back to try more options. Love their concepts, love their menu. read more

Poke Time - Poke Near Me - Plano, Texas

likely the best poke bowl shop in the Dallas area. it's done by the same chef who owns Sushi Haruya in west Plano. the fish to rice ratio is on point! and most of the time the ratio favors the fish more. yellow tail is a choice as well, it's not a common topping amongst other poke shops here. the cuts of fish are on par with sashimi or nigiri. so many times i see poke shops cut corners on fish quality / selection then use the sauce and toppings to mask the shortcuts. the sushi rice is properly prepared with both brown and white rice as options. i consistently go with the same toppings - ginger, wasabi, edamame (it's actually cooked soft!), seaweed salad, and crunch onion. i'll add a spam musubi for guilty pleasure. i work close to Shops of Legacy so i'm always glad for another healthy option to balance out all the steakhouses and texmex joints. read more

I eat Poke often in Houston and so I wanted to try some in DFW. We picked Poke Time because of their array of options and I'm glad we went there. It was yummy! The salmon I got didn't seem super fresh when I ate it, but it was still good. That's really my only critique, but it could've perhaps been because we went at an odd time (7 pm on a weekday?). The place was clean and instagramable read more

My second time here and it was as good as I remember it the first time!! Def recommend getting your poke fix here. The chef seemed to be by himself so give him a round of applause for being a hard worker!! He seemed so sweet. I will be returning back here to get my fix read more

Corny songs and nothing special. Just a poke spot that's exactly the same as other poke spots. Aloha spirit is not in this store.

By far the best Poke I've had in DFW. The fish is prepared and delivered every day by Sushi Hanuya. The people who work here are nice and always happy to see you. Price point is great too. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. read more

great fresh tasting ingredients. friendly staff, You can build your own Poke too! definitely going back to this place.

I love this place! Haven't been in a while because of coronavirus but every time we go, they are always so nice to us and are very willing to give extra rice or extra toppings. They make sure you are well taken care of and the owners are very humble. If you dine in, they make sure to go over to your table and check on you and they will usually also give you a piece of candy. It's just all around a very nice and wholesome experience, and not to mention, their food is always very very fresh and delicious! read more

I loved all the different choices to choose from and the sauces! It was very good, I also tried the little spam roll and wow! I didn't think I would like it that much but it was so good! The only critique I have is that I kinda wish that maybe they would mix up the stuff first and then give it to you or maybe put it in the bowl to where it would make it easier to mix up. It is a little difficult to mix up your bowl with a plastic fork. But all in all I recommend this place! read more

Poke Time - Regular bowl, spicy tuna, salmon, masago, spicy ponzu, with the works - Poke Near Me - Plano, Texas

I was visiting my boyfriend and he brought me to Poke Time. When we seen the name it caught are attention and decided to give it a try. It was tasty and delicious. We spend about $25. Dollars and believe me got are money worth. I would recommend the spicy tuna. read more

This was my first poke bowl ever and it was pleasing enough for me to go back. The only think I would mention is that I really like ponzu and I needed a bit more. It didn't taste fishy at all to me and even though I had almost every possible topping, it all worked together. I thought I wasn't going to like my wasabi all mixed in, but it was good. I can't give it five stars because I don't have previous reference, but if I were in this area more often I would stop by more often. read more

This place was awesome. Excellent service. Great portions. So many options. Highly recommended!

My biggest gripe with this place is that they charge for every little add on. The fish was also a bit too fishy, and for the most part lacked flavor. There's a lot of poke places nearby with bigger portions for less. Definitely isn't bad if you're in a pinch though read more

One of the best poke places I've ever been to! The owners are so so nice. I went with a couple of friends and it was my first time here, the restaurant is decorated really cutely with a lot of bright lights and aesthetically pleasing colors. The food is so good! The fish are so fresh and tastes amazing. The owners are so friendly as well; they gave us hi chews & cute mochi ice cream since it wasn't busy & it seemed like we were the very last few customers they have. Their son was also around helping out, it was rlly cute! I love family owned friendly owners who interacts with their customers like this. Fresh and delicious ingredients! Also, the customer service is excellent as well. Definitely satisfied my poke cravings.

I stopped by on this beautiful day as I was craving poke and there is nothing close to us in McKinney. I was so glad to have found Poke Time! Their food was very fresh, they had a wonderful selection of proteins and toppings, and the two ladies at the counter were awesome. The restaurant was very clean, the tables were wiped down and the trash cans were emptied. My poke was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back! read more

This is a great healthy place to stop by for lunch. I always do a poke salad. They are not stingy with their proteins and they taste fresh. I only wish they had a few more toppings, sauces, and sides. However, I do love the spicy crab, an option not really available at other places. I will continue to come here for my poke bowls! read more

This place reminds me of back home. The fish was so fresh, the toppings were all so delicious, and even better, the staff is so friendly! If I was local, this would be my go to place, and the prices are perfect. The inside had a nice atmosphere too, but I took mine togo. Once I finished my bowl, it was licked clean. Check this place out! read more

Poke bowl was very fresh with a good variety of topping options! Portion sizes are great for the price. There is a nice variety of proteins for those who may be vegetarian or not like raw fish.
