Build your own bowl! Regular sized.
Christi S.

The toppings are literally everything here!! There are almost never-ending options! And not to mention FREE!!! Most other places don't offer that, and to me, is mind-blowing. Get this, they offer seaweed salad, crab mix, sliced cucumbers, sesame seeds, seaweed flakes, pickled ginger, wasabi, corn, edamame beans, green onions, and even mandarins?!? (more options not listed) Freakin' chef's kiss. I got the normal sized bowl, with 3 scoops of fish. Did double salmon and tuna. AND holy snipes, it filllllllled me up! The fish were suuuuper fresh and the toppings all were top tier!!! Can I emphasize how the toppings were the star of the show????! Cucumbers were thinnnnnly sliced, super crisp and fresh, it complemented SO well with the savoury crab mix which was suuuuper moist and perfectly seasoned!! The edamame beans and the mandarins paired well in one bite with some chunks of salmon! Tuna tasted Grade A as well! Buttery-like almost! You guys ever get pizza and lots of toppings on it? But the more you add, the more it costs? And the more you load onto it, the faster it fills you up? Well that's how I felt here, except toppings again, are FREE! The toppings were super uber scrumptulicious and quality was phenomenal. Rice was seasoned amazingly well too, it had the right bite to it and the perfect tang. Each ingredient was prepared so meticulously, it made into a perfect meal. The sauce I chose was the poke sauce--it penetrated so well into my rice that made it exciting to craft each spoonful of fish and toppings with. /a little tuna here, a little seaweed salad there, and a edamame bean on top~/ I would definitelyyyy recommend Poke Stage, they abs got everything right in all the right places. Shoutout to the servers, they prepped each bowl with the utmost care and got every ingredient packed ever so prettily. Amazing work!

Ordered today on Grubhub. $22 for a massive bowl of fresh and delicious poke. I am stuffed and I barely hit the halfway mark. Talk about bang for your buck. So far the best I've had in north county. I'll be ordering again.

Poke bowl, with tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon

Poway isn't exactly teeming with poke restaurants but was in the mood for some, so decided to give Poke Stage a shot. I got my usual bowl: tuna, spicy tuna, salmon. They offer white rice, brown rice, and salad for the base, along with the usual toppings. Avocado and tamago are $1.00 extra. Good selection of sauces, including regular poke sauce, spicy poke sauce, spicy mayo, and sesame oil. I was a little unsure how fresh everything might be because I came towards closing time, but everything was good and fresh. My only nit would be that the portions of fish were a little small. Location might be hard to find or a little out of the way if you're not familiar with the area and I wasn't sure if it would be open being that it is tucked away in the corner, and in a business park area. All in all, the food was enjoyable and the customer service was good, and I'd return.

A must try poke spot in Poway! Great service and fresh sushi grade fish! A local favorite spot of mine!

Black Milk Tea.

Poway local Poke shop, I stop by here from time to time when I crave Poke during lunch time. I usually stroll by after 12:30 pm to avoid the lunch rush. parking shouldn't be an issue. It's a small shop with outdoor dinning benches. Cashier/ food handler always greet me and asked what bowl size I wanted. I usually aim for regular since it's only a dollar more than small. I get three scoop of proteins. I go for salmon, tuna, octopus and white rice for my bottom. I get their Spicy Poke sauce and Spicy Mayo on top of my protein and on top of my rice. I usually get all the topping except Jalapeño. If you are thirsty and want something kind of sweet I recommend their black milk tea in the bottle. Overall it's super straight to the point, you get your food and you get out. Quick and easy.

Not a bad spot for poke! They have a good variety of seafood and toppings. It was my first time seeing mandarin oranges as a topping. I came kind of close to closing time so they only had brown rice available. I normally don't get brown rice because it's so dry but I did get a small bowl and that really filled me up! The scoop of fish they gave was super tiny (like 5 pieces of fish). I'm never in this area but if I am and happen to be craving poke again I would stop by.

A little slow in making the food, but was taken back by the "f**k" tee shirt the employee was allowed to wear. Times have changed.

One large and a regular bowl.

Quality and quantities of food are good. Inside and outside eating area. No complains.

Wow I was so pleasantly surprised by this poke spot!! I had it bookmarked for ages when it first opened, then left town and forgot it existed. I'm so glad I was craving poke while in Poway which prompted a quick Yelp search!! I'm not sure if it owner helped me out or just an amazing employee, but after he found out it was my first time here, he made sure I understood how it all worked, let me sample their sauces, and was overall so friendly! The poke here is great and the toppings are fun (like corn!) I will definitely stop by if I'm in the area. I really enjoy their sauces as well, great compliment and not overly sauced (I said no sauce on the rice). Thanks Poke Stage! See you next time!

Ask the Community - Poke Stage

Is this place open for take out during covid-19?

Does this place allow smoking in their outside seating area? I have really bad allergies to second hand smoke but prefer eating outside

This place shares the outdoor seating area with another restaurant. I haven't seen anyone enforce any policy, if there even is one.

Fish and chips on Poway road?

Sorry nothing strikes my fancy in this area...but Fancy Fish in Mira Mesa a few miles south is worth trying! They have great variety and you have various options on how you'd like your fish prepared!

When we walked in, the staff were so friendly and went over the specials and also let us know what they didn't have for that morning. (Thankfully everything I was planning to order they had all of it)! Drinks: Calamasi Refresher The nice staff member recommended this drink and it was the perfect pairing with our breakfast. I usually stick with drinking water but this was a really good pick! 5/5 Appetizers: Pork lumpia: 5/5, of course we had to get this! Combo plates: Longsilog bowls ~ which came with garlic rice, fried egg, scoop of Mac and cheese. It was super filling and I thought it was never ending witu the amount of longsilog they gave. This dish paired well with their spice vinegar. There were literally no crumbs left. I always love supporting family owned restaurants. Filipino food is my top favorite foods. LUMPIAS: Tried both the pork and beef lumpias and while both were good, we all liked the pork ones more since they just had more of a kick to them. Perfectly fried and crispy! BREAKFAST MUSUBI: We wanted to try this and see how well the hashbrown went with the musubi. It was decent but don't think it's something I would get again. It was a bit hard to eat as the whole thing fell apart quickly so we ended up picking at it like a salad. SISIG COMBO PLATE: I was able to get half half garlic fried rice and pancit for my carbs. Nice, crispy pork belly cut into the perfect bite sized pieces. Loved the mango serrano salsa! UBE CHEESECAKE: I wanted the minis but they were out at the time, so I ended up getting the full sized one. It's still not too big so perfect for 1-2 people. Good flavor and not overly sweet! Overall, great Filipino food although pricey for what it is; I got a bit of sticker shock when my total showed up. It's also a bit out of the way, but I'd definitely return to try other menu items if I'm ever passing though the area again. Definitely just a once in a while visit for me anyways because of the cost.

I got it to go but it smelled so good that I had to eat it in my car still parked right in front LOL. The ahi doesn't have an irony taste like other ahi I've tried from some other places. Love the decor and the story behind this place. I decided to come here for my birthday and it was a nice treat because I was looking for more Hawaiian spots in San Diego. The mac & cheese was great I wish as a side they added more furike seasoning on the rice. Again, these are just small changes but overall the food is great solid and everything tasted delicious.
