WORST WORST WORST customer service ever. The portal does not provide you with all the scheduling options you need. When you contact customer service via text, they take HOURS to get back to you. Then if you're don't reply to their text within 2 min, they close out the conversation and you have to start from scratch. So if you're driving, or showering, or left your phone in another room, you have to start from scratch. Working with this company has been one of biggest regrets in life. Worst thing is I'm paying 300 month for them to basically hold my items hostage, and I can't seem to be able to schedule anything. read more

You had a service issue. I have used pods multiple times in the past. This time pods has repeatedly dropped the ball. I was scheduled for a pickup on Saturday. The driver did not pick it up claiming it was blocked. I have pictures and video to prove it. A long with witnesses, two of which even said they would move their car. Your driver said he would come back later. No call or text to me. And unresponsive when I reached out to him. He immediately cancelled the pick up starting w chain reaction that nearly put me in the hospital with chest pains. Finally it got picked up today but not before pods charged me for a pick up after pods screwed up. I have 3 moves left in my career. Those 3 could be pods. But not the way I was treated. I want a full refund. I won't ask for reimbursement for the 6 nitro glycerin pills I had to take because of the stress your company caused. You may not know this but your CS doesn't actually do any customer service. They are trained to deflect and place blame on the customer. They even refused to call the driver claiming they aren't allowed. If you do not resolve this to my satisfaction this will go to my lawyer. The worst ever. Buy Beware. Beware. Beware Never use a major credit or debit card. Get a one time use pre-paid card. I only gave it 1 star because I had too. The scammed me out of $241.69 and $191.38 an entire month after my move. Unauthorized charges is a crime. I had 5 charges for a container I only had 58 days. I paid $287 and $252 and 116. For a POD unit from 9/20-11/20. I paid damn near $1100.00 for nothing. I've been fighting with there unprofessional uneducated billing departments for months now. read more

The only reason I am giving one star is that the gentleman that delivered the pod was communicative, professional and very helpful. The facility is a different story. I had stored my items for three years with confidence, but when I arranged for the pod drop off I was told they could not give me a drop off time until the day before. I literally called and made arrangements a month in advance, but I still had to wait until the day before to get a drop off time. I had to arrange movers to come and empty the pod, so that was ridiculous! Then I called the day before, since I never received my promised call to arrange a drop off time. They still couldn't give me a time, but promised they would call later in the day and give me a drop off window. They acted as if I was bothering them. Needless to say I never received a call that day. At 6:30 am on the day of the move, I was called by the driver to ask where he was dropping off the container. He was not given the correct information. I had to jump up and meet him for the drop off at 7 am. When I got my items out of the pod, my sofas were dirty and full of saw dust. Some items were damaged from the moving of the pod. A pod seems like a good idea, but logistically it is not. I will never use them again. Unprofessional behavior, and damaged items for an exorbitant fee! Additionally I am STILL paying! After our business had been concluded and after I specifically asked if I was all paid up and would not be charged for anything else, I was just charged for something that is supposed to be included in the pod cost. I was charged $87 for dropping the pod off to my new home!!! The whole reason you choose Pods is for the convenience of dropping off and picking up!!!! I will absolutely never use nor recommend them again!!!! Customer service is not helpful (polite but not helpful). You are better off paying for a moving truck and storage. No hidden fees and no broken furniture! I feel so strongly about this that I will put extra energy into making sure people know about this experience on social media! They invited me so email them about this issue. What will that solve when several customers service calls couldn't produce a solution? Listen to me people, don't do it!!!!!!! read more

This company completely dropped the ball on my wife and I. We were told to stop by the storage facility so we could unlock our container before it was delivered to us on Fort Meade. When we got to the storage facility, there was no one around to answer the door or the phone. I called customer service and they also tried multiple time to reach a driver or manager, but no luck with that either. Come to find out that the customer service representative I spoke with a few weeks ago was supposed to schedule a time for me to unlock my container. Since that airhead failed to do her simple job correctly, my wife and I now have to wait for a new appointment time to be scheduled for us. Thanks, dumbass, you really made my day. read more

Horrible company to do business with. I would never use or refer them again. I was wrongly charged $200 extra on top of my storage charge and when I called to get a refund I was told they would have to "investigate" this further despite the fact the woman on the phone said "oh I see here they accidentally overcharged you." When I said "could you just refund me the money?" She said no and sent me off to someone else who was in control of my refund to investigate. I had to email multiple times and call multiple times only to receive answers like "oh that person is not here" and "oh the Manager will call you back." This went on for MONTHS and not once did I receive a call or email from them. After month five I finally got someone on the phone who said that the person didn't properly put a discount code on the order and there was nothing they could do about it. Excuse me?? A discount code for what?! They overcharged me, there WAS NO discount! They had overcharged me by TRIPLE for a pick up. Again, this was not a discount this was charged incorrectly to begin with. I will NEVER consider using PODS again. Once they take your credit card information for payment, good luck getting a hold of anyone. Their customer service is AWFUL... the absolute worst. They made a huge mistake, and later CHARGED me for it! I did, however receive a very half-hearted email from Dawafina Maclaryn, Universal Customer Service Representative, PODS Enterprises, Inc., 5585 Rio Vista Drive | Clearwater, FL 33760. She essentially tried to blame me for their several mistakes, and offered no consolation for the money that I wasted on their service, whatsoever. Never in my life have I felt more out of touch with an organization... All phone calls are automated, all emails go through their website. I am regretful for the EXTREME levels of dissatisfaction the PODS organization provided with me, and caused six hours in the midst of a very stressful move to be completely wasted. This is the most disgusting service and movers I have ever encountered. Buyer beware. I was told I would have free delivery and pickup if I booked 2 pods. The cost of each was $260.90/month. They signed me up for insurance and then when I had over $3000.00 of my personal belongings broken or ruined, they refused to pay saying the insurance was only for their "pod" and not the contents. The website was down for 2 weeks so I couldn't download my invoices. They appeared nice and friendly on the phone. Now I've been charged an extra $900 onto my $520.00 one month bill. I have reported this company to the BBB and I am taking them to court to recoup damages. Do not use this company. Take names from anyone you speak to and write down all conversations to save you from a nightmare. read more

This was about the worst moving experience I have ever had. Their customer service people are the worst I have ever encountered - they were rude, disinterested, and put me on hold for 15 minutes after I asked to speak to a supervisor because the customer service agent was so rude and unhelpful. I never did get a return call from a supervisor or any indication that my issue was being dealt with. They started off by screwing up the date the POD was to be picked up from my old house, so I have had to wait almost a week without clothes or furniture. Next, the driver this morning tells me he can't park the POD in my driveway because there is a tree branch in the way. So he parks it 50 yards away, despite my instructions to the contrary. Great, I can't wait to unload the POD in 100 degree heat and then have to carry my heavy items 50 yards. Absolutely horrible customer service - use at your own risk. I was very disappointed with Pods customer service. I was given an original quote that was reasonable, but in the end it turned out the guy who quoted me made a mistake and I ended up having to pay more. Be aware that they consider a 'long-distance move' based on zip code, even though your ending address may only be 15 miles away from your starting address. Also, all storage yards are private entities not affiliated with Pods, and it seems customer service is not aware of the closet locations that provide the storage for Pods. The 'customer is always right' attitude is completely non-existent. I even had a manager argue with me when I asked her to review my original phone call when I was quoted to prove my case, that I was misquoted, and I was told that it was 'not her job' to do that. After being delayed 4 days for the final Pod delivery to my new address because they needed to 'review my account' since I did not agree that I should have to pay more than originally quoted because their employee made a mistake, I finally got my Pod delivered and had less than TWO days to get my things out of it or else I'd have to pay even MORE money since the delay on their end put me over my paid month of storage. The only reason I gave them 2 stars and not 1, is because their drivers were very friendly and accommodating when they called for pick up and delivery. Other than that, I think using Pods was one big, disappointing headache. Dealing with their customer service was like talking to a wall. In the end I just gave up, had my things delivered and stopped trying to plead my case...that I was misled, misquoted and ripped off. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. If moving wasn't already expensive and stressful enough, they WILL make it exponentially worse! We couldn't get pick up or delivery scheduled when we needed, they have triple charged us leaving us almost broke and they just charged us again and we haven't had a pod anymore for weeks, not to mention that a great deal of our things were broken upon arrival. We have been fighting with them for weeks trying to get our over charges returned to us (so we can actually pay our bills ) and have gotten nothing but the run around. Pods has continued to take random amounts of money out of our account with no explanation and no one on the phone able to explain what the charge is for . My belongings were in this storage facility for 5 years. I had no problems setting up appointments to access my storage unit in that time, however be warned-they take the container back into the storage facility at 4 or 5pm, so you have to arrange it around their times which can be really inconvenient. There was this one time where I hit traffic on my way there and the gentleman in charge just so happen to have to stay late, so he kept my container out late, but that was after some serious convincing. *******BE WARNED******** I just recently unloaded everything out of my container and everything is COVERED IN DIRT/SOOT. I don't know what this black substance is all over everything, but I have had to wash and clean EVERYTHING...even things inside taped boxes. Chairs with white covers are ruined, clothes are all having to be washed..it is a nightmare. There are MANY reasons why I wouldn't use PODS for my future moving and storing needs, but this last reason regarding the FILTH I am dealing with is by far the most annoying. read more

The best part of my PODS moving experience was finally getting my stuff back and knowing I will never have to use them again. Customer "service" is a joke. Asking to speak to a supervisor gets you no where - they all just read from the same script. And everyone was rude, unhelpful and utterly unconcerned about fixing my problems. I was actually told my one of the many reps I spoke to over 2 weeks, "Our entire system is down. I can't access your account. I don't know what to tell you." Wtf??
