I texted in the morning, non-emergency, but they happen to have an evening appointment available the same day to do a water heater flush and service... Upon inspectioning my water heater it turned out there were some small leaks on the top and the bottom of the tank and it needed to be replaced. Also the city codes have changed over the years and so they needed to bring some thing up to spec. Because it was an electric WH, they didn't have one in the van. Chris the technician ordered the replacement, and brought it 2 days later with an assistant; they installed it, with the updated code specific changes in about 1.5 hours. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 star stars was the cost. I thought they could have done a little better on the cost. It was rather on the higher side, $1460. Everyone I spoke to said it was high. No holiday discount, no Yelp discount, no Angie's list discount, no first time new customer discount. When you price out the unit at Home Depot or Lowe's it still seems like you can higher someone at $300 and it would still have cost less. read more

I knew had a water leak on my property because of the increased water bill. I thought it might be caused by the sprinklers system. Two different sprinkler companies came out and were not helpful at all. They were unable to diagnose the issue nor provide a recommendation on next steps. After that, I had a plumber come out who advice it was a sprinkler problem. Finally, found Clayton at Plumb Unique. He diagnosed what he thought was the problem, recommended the next steps to get the issues resolved and continued to make certain the leaks were fixed. We had a sliver of water underneath our doorway that connected the master bathroom to the master bedroom. We didn't see any reason for that to be there so we were very worried about what this could be. We imagined the worst case scenario in which we would be spending thousands We called plumb unique and they came out within 48 hours. Chris was our technician and he did a wonderful job. He looked at the shower for 15 min and figured out what was wrong. It was nothing big at all! After doing that, we took him to look at our upstairs shower, in which he took care of, and our dishwasher, which he gave insight about. The best parts of their service was that he was so knowledge and taught us along the way. He didn't Mind questions and I'm grateful for such kind service. Just had RotoRooter come to my house and fix what this company should have done a week ago. The person who came out from Uniqudidn't even check my clean outs, use a hand held auger and then complained that his auger broke during the process. Very unprofessional and a waste of $185. Do not use this company, if you would like a good company let me know and I'll give you the number if RotoRooter rep who went the extra mile to fix my situation. Also your rep did not check my cleanouts. The roots were visible from the cleanouts. Your reps are supposed to be the experts but it looks like you you want to make $. Do a better job! read more

I got a call reminding me they were coming the evening before, a call when they were 30 minutes away and a call to make sure I was satisfied 30 minutes after he left. AWESOME! I shopped around for a reasonable deal and they were also the least expensive. Gave me a best case scenario price and worse case scenario after i described my issue. I know I am months behind, but I am Very pleased with the services and how easy they made it for me. I live with my parents I told my dad that the tub keeps getting clogged and ever so often I would have to put drano down the drain. My dad did nothing and this went on for months so I finally got tired of it because I'm not a plumber or anything but I don't think its good to keep using drano every month so I got on Yelp and was looking for plumbers. Plumb Unique had good reviews so I message them through yelp and it was a quick response I was set up for appointment and she explained how everything worked awesome services. My appointment was for Monday morning I received a call Sunday evening for conformation. On Monday the services tech call and said he will be there in 30 minutes I said great I was almost home I had work night that night when I got there is was already there working on the problem. A family member was there to let him in, it was a quick fix he said it was just clogged really bad. What I like the most was he had on foot booties to protect our floors that was neat I don't know if that is normally what they are suppose to do, but he had his on. Also, like that he was personable and was talking to my so nice. I will use them again and recommend when I can. read more

I told SERVICE MANAGER after the 3rd time there was supposed to be no charge. He had no idea Said he would get back to me to find out. He never did. Not the truth. And really? We had our foundation sink in the front bathroom and we came home to the sound and sight of water leaking out of the bathroom fixtures and the side of the house. Plumb Unique was one of three plumbers we had come out to quote us for the work, and was the only one to perform a full diagnostic of the actual issue. They turned the water back on long enough to get an idea of the issue and, after getting our permission, cut into the drywall on the other side of the bathroom to find that the pipe had disconnected in the wall and not in the foundation (thank the Lord). Once the foundation is repaired, we will definitely be working with Plumb Unique again. read more

We were very pleased with Plumb Unique! Chris came out and after calling the company, he discovered our hot water heater was on year 9 of a 12 year warranty. Pleasant surprise!
