Jason Edwards, H.C. Edwards' son provided excellent plumbing service at my 90+ years old home. He let me know when he was arriving, he was polite, he and his assistant Josh did a good job, and there was no clean-up for me to do after the job. He solved my problem which was more involved than it had originally appeared, but he took care of that with efficiency. I should note that another plumbing service had been unable to solve the problem. The pricing was fair. In summary: Good work, fair price, no mess. H.C. Edwards & Son has my strongest recommendation. Thank you, Jason Edwards.chaskemp read more

I contracted this plumber for leak detection. When he came he walked from room to room with me and gave me his opinion and charged me $195. While he was here I asked if he would fix my outside faucet and discount it since he was here. He said yes he would give me a discount and quoted me a price. He fixed the outside faucet but didn't secure it. When I connect a water hose to it, it moves. He not only didn't give me a discount, he charged me $50 more. read more

I had a plumbing emergency 2 days before Christmas and when I called HC Edwards, Jason immediately answered. I explained the situation and he was able to come to the house fairly quickly. He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and then fixing it. He was polite and professional and his bill was very reasonable. I would most definitely call him again should I ever have another plumbing issue. read more

Appreciate Jason for coming out and fixing my master bathroom shower issue. He was prompt, honest and professional. Everything you would want during a time where things could have been chaotic. I hope to have no more plumbing issues in the future, but if there was I would not hesitate calling Jason again. read more

We had a few plumbing and gas issues and based on yelp reviews, we picked this firm. I am so glad we did! They arrived on time and were well prepared. Very courteous and knowledgeable! Pricing was very reasonable. I highly appreciate recommend and we won't use anyone else if we have future needs! read more

Found them on yelp. Left a message and they actually returned my call. We set up a date and time and he was transparent about how the plumbing services would be charged. They were punctual and set right to work. They were able to locate the broken pipe in the front yard, digging up water saturated, heavy mud. They quickly repaired the pipe and put the yard back together. They were fair on the price, quick to respond, punctual for the appointment, and I had a great experience. If all plumbers were like HC Edwards, the industry would have a different feel and reputation. read more

Jason really helped me out when I was in a big difficult situation with the hot water heater. Not only once but two times! He was more than fair on pricing. I definitely recommend HC edwards plumbing. read more

Jason came almost immediately to help us with a leaking water heater and did an excellent, skilled and careful installation of a new water heater and removal of the dead water heater. Our situation required a fast response and these guys met the task and then some. read more

omg please stop responding, I wouldn't agree to a discount for a positive review. I rely on objective reviews; you charged $200 / hour to unclog a drain other plumbers charged less than $100 for the entire job. The only 'complexity' was the added work caused by your mistakes. read more

Came home midnight 12-23 to a garage and hall way full of water. The water heater decided to give out while we were out. Called HC Edwards plumbing around 10am Saturday (Christmas Eve) and left a voicemail with Jason. At 9:22pm Christmas night, I received a text from Jason asking if I still needed a plumber... You know, I get it if you can't provide services because of a backlog, but I don't understand not responding to an emergency request at all until 36 hours later, especially when your website says you have 24/7 service. read more

Due, to advanced age (not our age - the hoses), we decided to replace the hoses to our new washing machine. We weren't able to remove the hot water hose from the bib due to corrosion. After many attempts to remove the hose, using blaster, WD40, pliers, wrenches, hacksaw, etc, we contacted HC Edwards. HC Edwards Plumbing replaced both valves. read more

I contacted him on Dec. 15 for a leak coming into the kitchen from the bathroom on the floor above. Slow leak, so no urgency. He said he would get in touch when he had a chance to come over. On Monday, January 3rd, I reached out again and asked if he could look at the leak. He said yes and would be in touch about a day. Tuesday I reached out and asked if he had a day. He responded "Thursday". Wednesday he calls me at 1:18 PM and says he is close by to take a look. I rush over to meet him and we spend the next 1 1/2 hours digging into the drywall and looking for possible leak locations. We determine that it is probably a leak through the tile in the shower and he does not do tile or drywall work. It is now 3:00 and he writes up the invoice. $468...... I did not ask about rates before we started, so I guess it is what it is. JUST BE WARNED. HIS RATE IS $225 per hour, including drive time to your site. read more

Jason was amazing! Hasn't even left my driveway and I'm leaving a review. Came on short notice to diagnose and discover the issue with why I wasn't getting cold water through the washer valve making doing laundry a hassle. Fixed it quickly and also fixed my running toilet that cost me so much in water bills since I moved in! Reasonable prices for parts and labor and has CC convenience. Will be my go to from now on as a new home owner. He is very busy for a reason! Thank you Jason! read more

I called HC Edwards Plumbing to cap off an outside gas line that ran to an old fixture in the back yard (left by the previous home owners). I spoke with Jason a couple of times prior to the appointment. He was very knowledgeable and professional. On the day of the appointment, he called ahead to let me know he was on the way and arrived exactly on time. We looked at the gas line together and he explained the solution he had in mind and provided a couple of alternatives (but we went with his first choice). He wrapped up the work in no time and did an expert job! I am very happy with this experience and as we get settled in to our new home, HC Edwards Plumbing will definitely be our first choice for any future plumbing needs. read more

We were in need of a plumber but being new to TX, we didn't know who to use. I looked on Yelp and sent out a request for a quote. I had two companies in mind that seemed good from their reviews. HC Edwards was one of those two companies. Jason was quick to respond with a flat rate quote. After getting other quotes and other replies, I decided to get more info on payment and etc. from Jason. It all sounded reasonable so I decided to go with HC EdwardsPlumbing. Jason was able to fit our project in on the same day. He arrived on time, came prepared to protect the cabinet and floor and even cleaned up afterwards. He had the project done quickly as well. I am very happy with Jason's work and I would definitely recommend! read more

I woke up to my water heater finally giving out. I got several quotes that I thought were too high. I called this company for a shower drain that wasn't draining. The call goes straight to voice mail which does bother me a little. But he called me back pretty soon and we set an appt. He got there right on time and fixed my shower drain. It took maybe an hour or slightly less. Then he brought me my bill. $395.00. I was stunned. I didn't say a word but my thought was "wow, I can never call him again. Too expensive." Now it is 3 weeks later and my shower is not draining anymore. So I paid what is a lot of money to me to fix a drain for 3 weeks? Really? Why do plumbers and electricians price themselves out of repeat work? Bottom line, don't call them. read more

On Friday, March 24, 2023. Edwards Plumbing came promptly to replace a water heater. He was only plumbing company willing to give a cost estimate to replace. He was also the only one 'out of at least four' calls to give a decent time and adhere to it for the same day. He arrived accordingly to the time he had stated. Removed my water heater and replaced it quickly. He was exceptional in giving information to questions I had. The cost to replace was in line with the quotes received via telephone communication with two of the other companies that made it perfectly clear they did not want to give an estimate via telephone. Edwards plumbing was the second plumbing I used in less than two months apart. Unless something change, I will call Edwards Plumbing over any other at this time. read more

Since we've got some extra time during the quarantine, putting a couple gardens in the backyard seemed like a great way to do something productive to pass time. We HIGHLY recommend HC Edwards Plumbing. Jason contacted me and was the only one that gave me a quote for the work that I needed done. He was so nice and friendly, he knew exactly what needed to be done to fix our issue.
