Plumbers I had previously used didn't return calls and friends couldn't provide trusted referrals, so I googled. Good fortune was on my side. Chose to call DAZ and following a few calls back and forth, plus pictures texted by me of the water heater, my problem was diagnosed and solved. Dead batteries in a sensor on the water heater had shut down the flow of water.
