We had a great experience with Republic! They came out to diagnose our air conditioner and quickly found the issue. They also discovered a more important problem that needed immediate attention and took care of it right away. Louie was fantastic. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and offered multiple payment options that worked for our financial situation. Highly recommend, and we will definitely use them again! read more

I would advise anyone out there to find someone other than REPUBLIC. Once there is an issue, you will get lost in their team of managers, zero accountability on their side. REPUBLIC is ultimately looking out for themselves and their bank account, not for their customers. read more

I had Republic out to give me a quote to replace water heaters and put in a kitchen sink. I thought the water heater quote was high, but I hadn't researched how much a water heater was. I already had a kitchen sink and just needed them to install. The quote to install the kitchen sink was $3300. Again, I had already bought the sink - this was just to install a standard kitchen sink. Needless to say, I refused their services and got a much more reasonable plumber. read more

Today I had all of the duct work in my house cleaned and inspected. Ethan performed a thorough job in every room and up in the attic. He was polite, professional and worked very hard. He also did a thorough job of cleaning up after he finished, which I greatly appreciated. read more

My elderly mother was told that she needed her whole unit replaced and there was no Freon in it and was going to charge $1200 to charge it up or to replace it for 10,000. She called a new company and they came out and said there was a pinhole leak and that it still had 3/4 of a tank of Freon. They charged her $150 to service it and get it in perfect working order. Please beware of this company they are huge scam. read more

We recently had our air conditioning unit replaced by Republic Air & Heating and we are very happy with the results. They came in before their scheduled time and worked until the job was complete. Had a hiccup, but they fixed it and sent workers out to follow up to make sure everything was ok, and it was. We had our downstairs unit replaced last summer and we used them again for the upstairs unit. I highly recommend them if you are in need of their services. read more

3/12/2025-I selected this company for the very first time by searching on google. I could have went with any company but selected Republic Home Services and I am so happy that I did. They were very professional from start to finish. And on top of that it's my birthday. lol Thanks to Randy for coming out and assessing the problem and thanks to Kelton for making sure everything was fixed and my approval met before leaving. The service I received from Republic was very professional and timely. The technicians stayed with me through the entire process of investigating the problem I was having with my current AC unit to the information about the new system. I lost my husband earlier this year and Ken from sales was amazing with explaining all the costs and warranties for the new system. He made me feel confidient that I was making the right decision and feeling comfortable about the installation and the long term maintanace. The technician, Randy, came out several times to assess the new unit to make sure it was working perfectly. I would recommend Republic Heating and Air conditioning to anyone and all of my friends. The technicians were very loving to my Boston Terrier, Bella and she is a great judge of character. read more

Be honest and not try to add problems that don't exist-not very trustworthy-don't feel comfortable with technicians-bad experience!

Recently replaced my 2 very old HVACs. Very happy with the price, explanation of everything and help making decisions. Also their price was in line with the other estimates I got. The installers were great. read more

I just canceled my subscription. The technician bolted the door shut to my filter and want to charge me $109.00 to come out and take the bolt off so I can replace my filter! I have been a customer for years, and I now see how they handle their mistakes. Time to give another company my business. read more

My air inside the home was unbearable. It went out yesterday and I knew I would not make it another day in Texas heat. Customer service was outstanding on the phone and in person. The technician Jose arrived within the window as quoted and he provided top quality services as well. The price quote and timeframe for service completion was as stated. I was not thrilled about the price, but everything else made it worthwhile. read more

Jose V was my technician. He ultimately got the job done. He was not the friendliest and was confrontational a couple of times. He also threw in $189 maintenance package on the price that I did not realize that he had done. He did not tell me about it. Can you say fraud?! I did not even realize it until I called their office to complain about Jose V and how expensive their service was. I know prices have gone up because of Covid but I thought their price was extreme and I was correct! One of the reasons also that I called was because I also had not received their digital email receipt yet. She then broke down what I paid for and informed me about the maintenance program which I knew nothing about! Unbelievable! No wonder Jose did not send it to me. I talked to another HVAC company the next day and they said that their company was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but that republic way overcharged me. Jose showed me three different prices on an ipad he kept in his hands. The prices were for additional extra services. Which I refused. The third price was what I paid. That is the one where he fraudulently put in the maintenance program and I did not realize it. It should not have included the maintenance program that should've been another price to show me but he did not do so. On their website they have all five star reviews. But you can't add one there... I wonder why?! Be wary of this company!! read more

A huge THANK YOU and shout out to ALL the staff at Republic Heating & Air. They were fast, professional and attentive to our needs. They got our heat on and installed a new unit quickly and all during the icy Texas storm. We would definitely recommend them read more

Completely unprofessional. charged for an inspection, then the second guy came and was a disrespectful jerk. Never answered any questions, said he didnt care what we wanted and made no difference to him. Total tool. the first guy was at least nice and respectful. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I really wanted to like them because the tech was very nice and professional, but he pretty much told me that there was no way to get the part for the age of my furnace. I got two other quotes and the third company found the part right away. He wanted to replace my whole system for $9k yet here I am only spending $700 for a part he didn't even try looking for. read more

Republic Heating and Air (972) 617-4822 has always kept my HVAC! system running up to par for a very affordable price. And when my thermostat died in this December 2018 they came out the same day a replaced it before the house even had time to get cold. Thank you ! read more

My blower motor went out under warranty so I called to have it replaced. The technician did a great job removing the motor and replacing it with a new one , however the price the company charged for this job was outrageous . $650 labor for 45 minutes of work is insane . They replaced my cooling coil last year under warranty which took 2 technicians half a day and my bill for that was much less than this job that's why I called them back thinking it would have been a reasonable price. For this reason they have now lost my business for any future repairs . read more

I just had a wonderful experience with Republic Heating and A/C. We had to have a whole new HVAC installed. The whole process was seamless, from the initial diagnostic service call to our technician ,Zach Thomas. Zach and his crew were knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Best get a 2nd opinion from these guys. If you don't they are happy to sell you a new system for thousands. My 2nd opinion, fixed it for $89. Republic said the part wasn't under warranty, then said it wasn't covered bc we only bought a blower not a whole system. They were wrong and I do t trust these guys. The owner wouldn't return multiple calls. Buyer beware read more

Contractor used them to install new unit years ago. We constantly had problems with the unit and the installation. They're visits always cost too much money. They talked us into a service agreement and I ended up doing most of the maintenance myself. The straw that broke the camel's back is that they came out for a maintenance visit and charged me $600 for new capacitors that were replaced two years ago. Then within two weeks the unit was struggling so we had them out again and they told us that we need to replace the evaporator coil over $2500. We told them we wanted a second opinion and they charged us a $90 visit fee. I'll never use them again. read more
