Thank you so much Pape for being a reliable service that allowed us to have trust in the process and an assurance of a great product and installation, while being well informed. They are affordably priced and offer financing. Dave made sure that we felt included and educated on our first AC purchase. Unlike other providers who gave quotes and came off judgmental with our requests- for instance a heat pump versus electrical, they allowed us to make the best choice for us. They also helped out with an overall plan such as updates with electrical- free box conversion. Our first check up is right around the corner. No complaints so far.

Update - Turns out, it was still just a repair. The tech found the problem quickly and proposed a…read morereasonably priced repair. When questioned about if the unit was at the end of its life span, he told us that the unit seemed fine, and he didn't see why replacement couldn't be put off another few years at the very least. (it has been a year now, and we've had no further problems. We've been using Pape since the early 90's when they had to come out and fix a mess that Wolverton Air had left. Always very professional, and no matter which house we owned at the time they have always considered each call a REPAIR call and not an opportunity to try and talk us into a new unit. That coupled with their reasonable charges is why we don't hesitate to call them. Particularly now, when the unit we currently have has been repaired a few times in the last eight years, and just died again last night. Since it is original to the house, we are pretty sure it is at the end of its service life. But, I have no fear that Pape will not do right by tomorrow when they arrive to check it out.

I am sharing this recommendation because I have been burned by gimmicky A/C companies in the past. Jason's is the go to company especially in an emergency. I suggest you hire them for semi annual system checks to prevent problems. You'll be glad you did.
