On a warm day In October 2025, my 17 year-old Trane HVAC system finally gave up the ghost. As always, I did my research and I hired Coolinary Arts to replace my HVAC system. I can honestly say that my experience with Justin Berry (owner) and the entire Coolinary Arts team was exceptional. I am so pleased with their outstanding products and wonderful customer service. Justin Berry manages an excellent team, including his "right-hand man" Dylan Hayes. I decided to go with Coolinary Arts because their Yelp ratings were far superior to all the competition in the Dallas area. My decision was a very good one indeed. After initially speaking with Justin on the phone, he sent Dylan to my home to see what my home needed in the way of a new Trane HVAC system to be installed with complete new ductwork in my attic. Dylan is very knowledgeable and has a very pleasant, relaxed personality. There was no sales pitch and no pressure whatsoever. After deciding what model (number of tons and SEER rating) would be best for my home, we ordered my new Trane HVAC system. Several days later, it was professionally installed by Justin's remarkable installation team. It should be noted that Justin and/or Dylan were present during the entire installation process. I am convinced that buying high quality equipment from a reputable company is important, but their ability to install it perfectly is MOST important. Justin's team did an amazing job of installing my new HVAC system and all the new ductwork. They also installed two (2) new air intake vents in my ceiling in different parts of the home to maximize my new system's efficiency. My home now heats and cools beautifully. One of our AC units has been failing and took this opportunity to shop HVAC providers in our local area. After visiting with six different contractors, we selected. Coolinary Arts. We were happy that each contractor provided us the same feedback and input that our unit was slightly undersized in our existing air returns were choking the system from our initial visit with Dylan walk-through easy to review services in different packages. We felt there was transparency and then had a couple conversations with the owner Justin on what made the most sense finance the right equipment and service warranties. They worked with us and provided several different financing options a great winter buyback program of the old unit and we're able to get us scheduled within three days of selecting them. The team showed up on time removed and dispose of all the old units made the improvements to the returns and upsizing ductwork and it's been about a month and we cannot be happier with a quiet new inverter system keeping us cool at night. I had a weird initial interaction with this company as I had bought a home where they had done work on the AC units. One of my compressors failed within the first month of purchase and after less than a year in operation. It was a tricky scenario but the team took care of getting a replacement compressor under warranty and installation too. Overall, the team is good and I would recommend them. They have a tough job and do good by their customers. They stand behind their product and labor warranties. This is a company that likes to issue zero invoices for services rendered. Upon calling back, my husband was treated rudely. I was treated rudely to the point where the issues were escalated over the simple fact of being told that they couldn't update the invoice to reflect the actual amount for services rendered, my husband had asked repeatedly that all he needed was an updated invoice instead of the one we have that says total amount paid zero. They refused to comply after much yelling and screaming at them because yes, we did get angry. We get a rude phone call back from Amanda who refuses to give her last name now asking us For our email address so she can mail us an updated invoice all of a sudden they're trying to comply. I called my bank and I stopped payment and until I get a proper invoice I am not paying them. Issues a zero balance invoice on services rendered this is a rental property. I have to have a for tax write off purposes. And yes, I lost my temper and yes, I raised my voice and I don't regret it and now she's telling me she's going to turn me in. I don't know who she's going to but go for it. I'm standing on my convictions. Give me an invoice that reflects exactly what I paid. and when she called back, she was being a smart Alec once again and I thoroughly spelled out what my husbands email address is asked her if she got it given people are not very bright who are running the show over there in Dallas and she said oh I'm done with you. I'm reporting you go for it report me they have our home address. They could simply fax us an invoice that was correct or mailed us an invoice that was correct. My husband had asked three times, do not use this service if they're incompetent over an invoice can you only imagine what they do when they're touching your AC units I'm sorry there's just too many vendors in the Dallas Fort Worth area to choose from. read more

Had Classic Air out again today to look at some work that the previous owner had done on the AC prior to sale of the home, and as usual, was very pleased with their service. Thanks, Cody! Another AC contractor had diagnosed a Freon leak after a recent refill and was asking ~$2,000 to replace a coil. That contractor had supposedly added Freon 6-8 weeks beforehand and was very confident that there was a leak and ready to replace the coil. If their prior lack of diligence was any indication, I doubt they would have checked the level again before doing so. Cody came out and had a look and determined that the unit was operating just fine and that, based on the timing I gave him of the last refill, there was not a leak. This saved me $2,000 in unnecessary repairs that the other contractor would have had us do. Classic will certainly be our go-to HVAC contractor going forward. read more

Apparently making an appointment means nothing to this company. I called them Monday evening to get a second opinion on a repair needed on my AC unit and got their voicemail. I left a message and also messaged the business owner on here, which led to an instant phone call and appointment time being set. My appointment was set for Wednesday at 5 pm, although I was given a time frame of 5-7. I rushed home and waited for over 2 hours and no one ever showed. I wasn't even given the courtesy of a phone call to cancel my appointment. Needless to say, these guys won't be getting my business. ETA: After profuse apologies from the owner, the technician who failed to make my appointment text messaged me with apologies as well and an offer to come out to right his wrongs. I informed him that I'm a busy person and that I made that appointment at the time I did for a reason. He bothered me all day and offered to come to my home after my event, which was not convenient for me. When I told him that I was home but did not want him to come by (it was after 8 pm by this point), he sent me a text message stating that he felt I wanted to get back at him and he would not do business with me. Wow, how childish and unprofessional. Just be forewarned if you choose to book with these guys. You may get your appointment cancelled and harassed by employees. read more

My AC unit went out so I did some online searching. Found Justin and he came by the house and since I didn't need an immediate repair he gave me a free inspection and quote. Some techs will charge just for coming over. He gave me a price and told me to shop around to make sure I get the best deal. So I went on Yelp and called those with 5 star ratings with at least 20 plus reviews. All of them charged a higher price. So I chose Justin for the project. We set up an appointment for installation and his crew showed up promptly and professional. For the price and service I would recommend Justin to anybody. Another great customer experience! I'm impressed with the service I've received with all my recent needs and last night it was my A/C. Of course it'd stop working the 1st night I spend in my new place lol. Well, I reached out to Classic Air at 2:30am and I fell asleep somewhere soon after but I had a response waiting for me when I woke up. Justin was able to come out shortly after and confirm what I had suspected was the issue (thanks to google) and it was a faulty thermostat. Justin was very thorough which I truly appreciate. The thermostat I had relied on batteries in order to operate and he was able to get a direct line to connect to the thermostat so I didn't have to worry about batteries. We ended up replacing the thermostat. He checked both the interior and exterior unit and was able to tell me more information about the condition of the unit. He also answered my questions about the air filters and he even assisted with replacing them and providing me a crash course. (Girls need that sometimes). The level of service I received from first contact to execution of resolution made me trust Justin and team. Our compressor shorted and died and the warranty company wanted to replace it again. To make a long story short, it is a waste of time to go thru a home warranty to fix an a/c or furnace problem. We got a full system install (furnace + a/c). Our upstairs was well over 100 degrees and downstairs at about 92 or so. They installed the whole thing on the same day and afterwords our house cooled really quite fast. Everything looks clean and professionally installed, we couldn't be any happier. They are not the cheapest out there but they aren't the most expensive and that is a good thing. I was satisfied that a quality job would be done at that price point. INCREDIBLE customer service and family-run operation. They are fairly priced, knowledgable, and honest. I hired Classic Air AC to come and inspect my "senior-citizen" (10+ year old) units after relocating from Chicago into a new house in Dallas. If happy life = happy wife, then happy wife = 72 F. During our scheduled service appointment, Justin showed up at the house just as it started to rain. Since water and humidity can damage their expensive gauges (and can also be hazardous with the electrical), he offered to reschedule for the very next day. He showed up as promised and performed a number of tune ups and made some important observations and recommendations on my ductwork that only one other inspector had caught. He then came out a second (third) time since he had to special order some replacement parts for my unit. Not even a day later, one of my units died leaving the house humid and warm in this 100+ degree heat. I phoned them at 10pm, and Justin said no problem they'd come out tomorrow and get me taken care of. Chris showed at 10am (!) and quickly identified the problem as the service breaker getting tripped. A little embarrassing I didn't catch this myself, but now we have a little time to diagnose what's causing that. If it's possible to LOVE your HVAC company, I have found theee one. I have dealt with multiple HVAC companies since purchasing my home. Last year, I was told that my AC unit was leaking freon, and it was recommended that I replace the unit. I was quoted slightly over 13k to replace the AC and heating. With summer coming, I did not want to get stuck in a situation where it was 112 degrees outside when my AC finally gave out.
