On June 25th, Fast Response Heating & Cooling came out to service my A/C system, diagnosed that the entire system had to be replaced. After getting quotes from other businesses, they offered to beat the other quotes and waive the $79 service fee. Regettably, I agreed to allow them to complete the installation, and they still charged my card the service fee Later that same day, three other employees showed up to remove the old interior unit. This is when they soaked my attic with the water from the drip pan and from the old unit, which obviously caused water damage to my ceiling below. I alerted them to this and was told that a contractor would be sent to take care of the repairs. On, the day of the install on June 27th, I was told that I had to find a color code for the paint inorder for them to send a contractor to fix the damage they caused to my home. I told them that I had no way of finding that because the ceiling and walls were painted over 10years ago. The install was completed, but the damage was not fixed, and I did not hear back from them after June 27th. I had to contact this company to remind them that they have not contacted me. I was expecting them to call to schedule a day & time to send the contractor. Again, I was told that I had to track down the color code for the paint needed. I explained to them that the last employee that was at my home was able to peel a sample of the paint and urged them to take care of this immediately. They lied yet again and said they were going to take care of it that same week. Needless to say, they have not fixed the water damage to my home, the service fee has not been refunded, and I have not heard back from them at all. Beware of responses to Yelp quotes. They basically just say whatever to get you on a call with them. I asked explicit questions which they said yes to when through Yelp, but turns out on the actual call they didn't have experiences and didn't read the actual project request. read more

I am writing to share my very disappointing experience with Fast Response Heating & Cooling, starting on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Seeking professional help for my approximately 15-month-old Minisplit inverter compressor system, I even visited their location beforehand to ensure they were comfortable working with this type of newer technology. Despite this, the technician who came to my home stated that Minisplit systems were unreliable and suggested replacing it with a new traditional unit for a significant cost. This was in addition to their initial diagnosis of needing replacement electronic boards, quoted at a substantial price for parts and labor. The technician's invoice comments indicated "burned" boards due to a power surge - which was untrue. Adding to the frustration, the unit is now running perfectly after another company identified and fixed a simple electrical line issue. This directly contradicts the initial diagnosis of major component failure. The claim of "burned" boards was clearly incorrect. Consequently, I was unnecessarily without air conditioning for two weeks because the actual problem should have been resolved during the initial visit. Based on the initial diagnosis, I ordered replacement electronic boards at a significant cost. These parts were entirely unnecessary, and I am now stuck with them, potentially facing return shipping fees. When I inquired about a "Diagnosis Invoice" to understand the issue and potentially utilize my warranty, the company was uncooperative, refusing to provide necessary information. The stark contradiction between their diagnosis and the actual problem, the suggestion to replace a relatively new unit, the inaccurate notes on the invoice, the demonstrably false claim of "burned" boards, the unnecessary purchase of expensive parts, the two weeks without AC due to their error, the lack of cooperation regarding the diagnosis invoice, and subsequent communication attempts all point to a significantly flawed initial assessment and unsatisfactory service. I strongly recommend seeking a second opinion if you receive a complex or expensive diagnosis from this company, as my experience suggests a potential for misdiagnosis with costly and inconvenient consequences. I have just requested reimbursement for the "Diagnosis" invoice I paid for, plus the shipping cost of the parts I need to return. I'll  update this review if I get any response from them read more

They wore shoe covers, put down protective sheets on floors and stairs, answered all my questions, noted issues they saw even from previous work done by their coworkers, and tested everything before leaving. Tony had helped us with a previous thermostat issue and was the first person I thought of to help me and my family when our AC went out on a SUNDAY evening in 110 degree weather. Tony no longer lives/works in CA and is STATES away and still, without hesitation, that did not stop this young man from helping! With a fast response to my emergency there was a technician at my house within 30mins and even follow up to check in to make sure our AC was up and running.. Bottom line: the BIG guy got the AC working again and extra benefit discovered problem that started when house built in 1998. The upstairs AC unity had shut down so I called my go-to AC company who had just done a seasonal checkup of units two months prior. And discovered they had been bought by this company. So new faces. I got a tech (Andrew) the next day who promptly discovered the problem being a clogged condenser line. The AC shut down due to a safety switch activated when too much water in line. This is PVC pipe in attic connected to unit to allow the water condensation from the cooling effect to drain away. This line is connected to sink in bathroom under the AC unit. Check your bathroom you probably have a connection from AC unit to sink to drain away water. Anyway the line was clogged but tech didn't have the compressed air cartridges to blow out the line. Quick and simple fix had to wait until next day. Which worked for a few hours until line clogged again. It seems after 26 years the line had more in it more than the CO2 cartridge could handle. So another trip by tech who changed the condenser line completely to eliminate the problem in future. And he really cleaned out line and showed me the contents that came from the AC unit to sink. But But the AC still shut down a few hours later. So now I get the BIG guy (co-owner? Robert) this time and he saw the problem right away that the new condenser line hadn't been built properly which he promptly fixed. AC now working. The BIG guy also did a full system check and pronounced it A-OK. The extra benefit was that tech had suggested having the ducts cleaned out which had never been done in 26 years. I agreed so a separate company contracted by Fast Response came to do the work which took several hours. They did a great job over several hours and discovered that when house built in 1998 the AC grate in bathroom hadn't been sealed properly. So over several decades of heat/cool the moisture had create a mold problem in the duct and grate in bathroom ceiling. So replacement duct work was in order which was scheduled with Fast Response. Their install guy (Tony) came and he spent several hours in a very hot attic replacing everything from ceiling grate to AC in this new duct work. I also got new insulated duct work with better insulation value than was used in 1998. Quite the saga. Anyway check them out. They are located in Wilmer, TX but are establishing a footprint in DFW area. Almost forget there was a May special on the duct cleaning but I was initially charged the regular price. When this was noted I asked since I setup the duct work in May they credited me the discount and saved money. Sweet. BTW: they have over 100 reviews on Google so read more there. read more

I sent a service request via Yelp. I was contacted almost right away (fast, right). Victor was very helpful and scheduled Tony to come out the next day. Tony arrived in the morning, identified the problem, and told me how everything would go. We had to wait until Monday to get the parts. In the meantime, I sent all the warranty information to Victor. Tony arrived Monday as promised. He installed the replacement parts and took the time to make sure everything was working properly, not just the one thing he came to fix.
