I truly cannot say enough good things about this company. I first used them at the start of the summer when the capacitor went out on my A/C. They responded right away, and the technician (Pedro) explained the issue clearly, answered all my questions, and made an additional recommendation to prolong the life of my compressor (but didn't try to give me a hard sell when I decided only to do the necessary work). He had everything fixed in a flash and the price was more than fair. I sold that house a few months later and had Pedro come inspect the A/C unit at my new house, which is an older home. He said the unit checked out great but recommended I consider changing the compressor to save a lot on my electric bill in the winter. He explained the pros and cons, answered all my questions, and again didn't push when I decided to wait. But I did end up using their crew to replace all the HVAC ductwork, which was literally falling apart. They did a stellar job, took measures to keep the house clean, and went over and above to clean up after the work was done. I've been a 5 Star HVAC customer for a couple years and has been satisfied with their service and prompt response. My current gas bill was unreasonably high despite my being out of the country for 1 month. Called Atmos, customer service sent a rep to check for gas leaks and recommended to check get my heating unit and thermostat check. 5 HVAC came within reasonable time to check the system. The technician ( Victor) was respectful but I was disappointed when I noted that the system was not working after it was supposed to work efficiently. When the evening temp dropped, I felt the temp inside the house was very cold and noted that the system was not kicking in hot air and the thermostat was reading 61 with thermostat setting at 70 degree. How could his have happened when the system was just checked few hours ago?. I was very disappointed especially my annual membership was just renewed for another year. I slept freezing, under several layers of covers at 60 degrees temperature. I called 5 STAR HVAC first thing this am. I was pleased with their quick respons. Pedro and Victor came to assess the heating problem. Pedro explained, answered questions until the heating problem was resolved. I commend the promptness, expertise and wholesone attitudes of these 2 technicians in resolving my heating problems. As someone who has been an investor in multiple properties for 14 years, I've had my fair share of business transactions. Initially, I was quoted $5,600 for the work, which later dropped to $5,300. After I mentioned to the technician, Pedro, that I wanted to get a second opinion, he quickly followed up and offered a price reduction to $4,900, but included a previous year's model coil. Over the next two days, the company reached out with additional follow-up calls and further reduced the price to $4,600 to get something scheduled. While the technician was polite, I was disappointed in the pricing approach. It felt like negotiating with a car dealership, which I didn't expect in an HVAC service.
