First time using this co. Awesome experience. Very fair and competitive pricing to install a whole new Trane system to replace a 15 yr old Goodman. Ivanna was extremely communicative with changes as they arose... supply chain disruption due to CV-19 & lots of breakdowns due to weather putting a strain on the system as well. Install crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves and knocked out the entire job in ~ 6 hrs. Would absolutely recommend! - Mike read more

It's always hard to find a good local HVAC service company that you feel you can trust and won't break the bank. Cool Connections is that company! We found them through Nextdoor, and our experience with Joe has been top-notch. We use Cool Connections for our seasonal maintenance and, should we need it, will feel good about using them for repair service. read more

I am a Cool Connections customer for life! Joe is truly amazing! This is the second time he has come to the rescue. The first, was the coil in the attic, replaced well below the first quote we receive. This time it was the condenser and he had my house down from 91 to 86 degrees before he left an hour or two later. We are now back in the 70's and our home is comfortable once again. Thank you Joe! read more

Reliable, cost effective, honest, timely. Ask for Joe. Replaced two AC units and two water heaters. All done well.

Joe did a fantastic job w my ac problem where my ac wasnt cooling enough when the temperatures got above 80. I have 2 kids so was important to me to come out ASAP so they wouldnt have to sleep in hot conditions. He cleaned the coils and added some freon and it only cost me $350. Other company tried to get me to replace parts and quoted me 1800$! Will definitely be going w joe again next time i need anything read more

This company started great, but after 11 years of being their customer, I noticed that their customer service went downhill. I called them last June 25th to set up an appointment and the lady told me she would call me back. I didn't receive a call back after a day so I sent 2 text messages but was told that they are currently booked. It's been 2 weeks, so I'm calling it quits. I guess they don't need my business anymore. It's probably time for me to move on to another HVAC company that is reliable and still cares for all its customers. read more

I rarely ever find anyone I trust to do work for me and do it myself but Joe and his crew were the best. Honest, instructive, respectful, affordable and did great work. I will never call anyone else for my HVAC needs again! read more

Called cool connections after reading their reviews on Yelp. Joe the owner came by that evening and resolved our Cycling issue with the outside AC unit in 5 minutes. He was very nice and explained the issue with us and made recomendation for us with our 20 year old AC unit. He was very professional and I would highly recommend his Business again to everyone. I am definately a repeat customer now! read more

Thanks to Joe and his crew for doing a great job replacing my AC unit! Cool Connections is a family owned, local business and they care about their reputation, I recommend them over all the large companies in DFW. read more

Cool Connections Air Conditioning and Heating - New AC unit - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

They replaced my ac unit, with a new Carrier unit . They were responsive and they did a good job.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I noticed a leak last night and frantically searched for someone to fix it today. After the first HVAC company came and told me I had to replace my entire unit and it would cost a whopping $12k, I kept searching for options. Cool Connections was very responsive and came out same-day. Joe was great. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it immediately before coming out of my attic. Normally, I like to be told the price before a service is performed, but considering it was only $150, I am so happy! Thankful to have found a trustworthy and reliable technician who not only fixed the issue but also gave suggestions on what to look out for and how to prevent the issue from happening again! read more

I needed a new evaporator coil and had been running into walls dealing with other companies as well as my home warranty company. It had been over 2 months since the coil had busted and I used my HVAC system at all. I was referred to Cool Connections through a family friend and Angel came out to inspect the issue on Friday and came back on Tuesday and replaced the coil. Angel was reliable, honest and communicative. He has earned my both my trust and business for years to come. Thank you Angel and Cool Connections!!! read more

I'm updating my review with the final outcome. Joe came out this morning and went over everything he had done last week. He showed me that everything was working properly and even took care of an unrelated problem while he was here. I give Cool Connections 5 stars and will call them again the next time I need any AC work. read more

Noticed my AC was blowing hot this morning...called Cool Connections around 10 am and my AC was fixed by 2 pm the same day. Thanks for the quick response. read more

Top notch and trustworthy service. Joe and his wife are the best. You're crazy if you past this business up and choose another one. I've been using him for almost 20 years. read more

Very positive experience. Highlights: Joe really knows his craft and was able to diagnose several root causes to our HVAC issue. He presented us with a couple different solutions depending on our budget, and the team is very responsive and on-time. Overall, I was really happy working with Cool Connections, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

This company went above and beyond replacing a furnace, fitting us in a packed schedule within days as I had a 97 year old mom in tow. They were very kind and kept me updated as work progressed completing the job in one afternoon. Highly recommend them. read more

WOW --- I'm very impressed and I don't say that often with repair companies. Very quick response time to my service call, he fixed the problem SO fast and was very polite. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Requested an estimate to have my evaporator coils cleaned. Joe came by within our scheduled window (although I was a little surprised since there wasn't a pre-arrival text message), and gave me a thorough explanation and demonstration as to why I didn't need to have the evaporator coils cleaned. He took the time to create an opening in my coil box so that I could see for myself, and then he closed it back up. Thanks! read more

Joe is Awesome! I called him at 8:02 AM. There was no answer initially, but he called right back within a minute. From there, he was at my house an hour later. Joe managed to clean the heating unit and replace the control board bringing my unit back up to full operations in just over 2 hours from my initial call. It's nice to have a warm house again. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We chatted for while he was working. One can easily tell that this guy is very passionate about his company, his work and his clients. I have definitely found my new guy for HVAC stuff. In an age of yelp and other online review sites, where people tick off points for anything; it really says a lot that Cool Connections has the most reviews in my area -- and has 5 stars on reviews. Give Joe a call - you won't be dissapointed. read more

Couldn't be happier with the service. On time arrival. Great communication. Quick and correct diagnosis and problem resolution. Joe diagnosed my problems within 3 minutes of arrival! A few days later he diagnosed a different problem in the same system without charging extra. We will recommend you to our family and friends! read more

Have used them twice. First was just a checkup for the AC and heat a couple years ago. Very thorough and reasonable. Second was the AC stopped blowing cold air yesterday. They worked me in quickly, Joe found a wire had become disconnected from the compressor and quickly replaced it. Upon examining the other components, he found the original capacitor was needing replacement. I thought this old 1993 era unit was toast, but he said it still has some life left. Charges were very reasonable and he had me back up and running quickly. Will definitely use them when it comes time to replace this unit. Honest people who provide great customer service. read more

A wind storm came through my area a couple days ago and caused a power surge and knocked out my compressor outside. I talked to a couple other companies who led me to believe the entire unit would need to be replaced. $$$$$$. I called Joe and he came out and replaced my capacitor in 10 minutes for a fraction of what I had been told it would cost. Perfect experience. read more

We have used Joe Harding at Cool Connections for a few years now on our home and our rental properties. His rates are lower than other services, he is a kind man and does thorough work. He is flexible about scheduling and runs a modern operation - we work up appointment specifics by text and he emails me the bill each time. I highly recommend him as your HVAC repair tech. read more

If you need no nonsense AC repair, call Joe and Cool Connections. In the past, I've always found the AC repair company to be hit or miss in regards to which type of repair person you got. Most of the time it was more miss with the onsite engineer telling how this and that and everything in between should be replaced. But Joe came out, listened to the problem and then went to fixing it in a very timely manner. You couldn't ask for any better or more personal service. Very recommended. read more

I called late one evening and was promptly called back. They were here around 6am the next morning and found a simple problem. It was quickly repaired. I was worried about being pressured into unnecessary repairs, and not really knowing better, could have been suckered into them, but Joe was honest and fast. I paid later that morning over the phone and quickly received my invoice in my email. I'll certainly call again if I have any other problems (really hope not though) without hesitation and will recommend them to friends and family. read more

If I could rate Cool Connections @ 6 stars, I would. Ironically, I'd heard about Cool Connections through Yelp and decided to give Joe a shot based on all the outstanding reviews and A+ BBB rating. I can now fully back up what others have said - Joe takes great pride in what he does and genuinely cares about providing the best level of service for his customers. Our upstairs A/C unit stopped cooling and was blowing out hot air into the house. I called Joe and even though he was extremely busy assisting other customers, he made time to stop by and assess the situation later that day. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, provide options and a recommendation. We took his advice and now have plenty of crisp, cool air along with the peace of mind knowing our system is solid. As others have said, if you're looking for reasonably/competitively priced, top notch HVAC services and solutions with honesty, integrity and quality, look no further. No wander all ratings are 5 star. Great service. Honest, reliable. I will strongly recommend.

We have used Joe twice now....once for a heating system tune-up and recently for an AC tuneup. He is definitely worthy of the lofty reviews that you see here. He arrives on time, is extremely competent and thorough (I know since I am an engineer!). Unlike other AC folks, he doesn't push you into making unreasonable purchases or replacements. We have a 11 year old system and when I asked him about replacing it....he honestly told me to let it run for a few more years since there was nothing wrong with it. Seriously such integrity in is hard to find in this day and age! I highly recommend Cool Connections for all your HVAC needs. read more

I left a web message last night when we discovered our secondary AC unit was not working. I did not expect to hear back from them today, as it is Labor Day, or at the least to be charged an excessive holiday fee. I received a call a little after 9am and Joe was able to come out shortly thereafter. He was professional and quick. After replacing the broken capacitor, he also checked the freon and topped that up, as he noticed the hose was not super cold. All for a very reasonable price. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service, and I fully plan to use Cool Connections for my AC maintenance going forward. read more

Cool Connections is a very honest and professional group. The father and son team is really working for these guys. My wife called in the morning and Cool Connections arrived at the scheduled time. After looking over and diagnosing our problem, I talked to the gentlemen on the phone. He was very professional and told me what I needed to fix the problem. Wife and I were very relieved to not have to replace the whole system. After we discussed price, they had the unit back up and running within an hour. Thanks guys. I would highly recommend Cool Connections. They arrived on time, they diagnosed it correctly and where very professional. We will definitely keep them bookmarked in yelp. BTW - We found them thru Yelp.. Thank you Yelp and all that helped us make our decision to go with this great company. read more

I had joe come out to. I echo all the comments already left. HE WAS FANTASTIC!!!! A/C repairmen and companies have SUCH A BAD WRAP AND justifiably so, because they dont do it right and always try to charge you too much. joe was early, efficient, fixed the issue, and didn't charge a crazy amount. he tries to diagnose a problem before asking you to spend a lot of money. great guy!!! would recommend. read more

I would give 6 stars rate to this company. If you looking for a company that honest and not being pressured for unnecessary repair , then you should try this company. Cool Connections Rock! I called them late in the day and they were able to show up first thing in the morning. They were prompt, fast and cleaned up after themselves. This is the second time we've used Cool Connections. The first was a few years ago when our AC stopped working. We were having floors done (in JULY!) and before they could lay the adhesive, AC died...not good. Joe came out same day and fixed it in under 15 minutes. Our floor guys were able to get back to work and it didn't cost us a new unit or a fortune in service fees. Second time was literally TODAY....he came out on-time to flush our AC drain. Although, it was working (cooling) great, it was leaking water from the reserve pipe from the attic and dripping down the side of the house. He came out, went into the attic, found the issue, and worked the drain until it unclogged. It was not an easy job as I fear the previous owners of the house never had it done before, and it was quite clogged. But just like before, he assessed the problem, worked it until it was done, and didn't charge us a fortune. This is our AC go to guy from here on out. Highly recommend him! And thank you for doing such a great job!! read more

How can Cool Connections have 5 stars? Easy, they are fantastic! I can highly recommend Joe for any of your A/C needs, as I have used them for a simple quick fix to a full unit replacement. Some many great attributes that I experienced (I saw these in other reviews too): * Helped me slide through one more season before replacing my older unit * when I needed to replace it, no "salesman" tactics. * Honest, clean, neat, and great workmanship * Great communication - before service date - during - and post Just such a different experience than my prior AC folks. Thank You ! read more

After reading the positive reviews I was about to give this company a try. Unfortunately, when I called this morning the person that answered the phone spoke as if she had just rolled out of bed. She was very scattered and as I was trying to book an appointment after 5 she said she would have to "call him" and then call me back. She hung up and called me right back and then said "sorry" I didn't mean to call you. That kind of made the decision for me. My perception is they may be good at what they do but the customer facing staff needs help. read more
