    ICED WALTER WHITE

I wanted to kick my Monday off by trying a new coffee shop! I had the Iced Walter White w/ Oat Milk, I would rate it a 9/10. It wasn't too sweet & very well-balanced. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie, I loved it. I bet it would've been really good it was fresh out of the oven. I'm in the fountain square/Mass Ave area often so I've added P&TY to my list of coffee shops near by.

Had an hour to myself before work after lunching at Yats with my son and enjoying a stroll down Mass. Ave. so decided to get a drink and treat. Saw this little shop and thought of trying something new today. A lovely welcoming and so friendly. The ladies were very nice and up for a fun chat. I ordered the matcha and an oatmeal cream pie. Wow that treat was amazing! My matcha was good but the treat was the superstar of this visit! Such a cute little shop and the jukebox was so fun. Really good vibes and atmosphere. Definitely going to try some other treats sometime. Becca and crew are all so sweet

Worth it just for the chocolate chip cookie alone! I love that they have an iced Vietnamese coffee too. It is a small coffee shop, so I always get it to go and stroll Mass Ave, but I love bringing company in town to grab a coffee here. They've all really liked the vibe and the music.

Of course I wanted to love Please & Thank You. We stopped in for coffee and a cookie. The place wasn't busy. We bought coffee and a cookie each. I had their famous chocolate chip cookie. Mark got an oatmeal cream pie. I loved the two-seater spots by the window. The coffee was good. The cookies were certainly tasty, but they were expensive. Despite Please & Thank You being voted the best cookie shop in the U.S.A., I'm not convinced. I'll say I'm glad we stopped in. PTY was recommended by a local so we checked the box. All that said, if you happen to be staying at Bottleworks and need caffeine and a sweet treat, PTY fits the bill.

The chocolate chip cookie was advertised as America's best cookie and I was not disappointed! It has a crispy texture and amazing sea salt flavor. The employee at the register told me the coffee is formulated to pair perfectly with the chocolate cookie; say no more. I love the vintage and cozy vibe of this small shop. The perfect place to stop for a treat along Mass Ave or grab a coffee with a friend!

Great location. I got a butterscotch latte, chocolate chip, cookies, and an oatmeal Whoopie pie.

I had great service right from the start felt welcomed right when I walked in. Good selection of different types of pastries. Their cookies are amazing and the coffee was divine. Local roaster they make their own syrups. It's a great experience.

Delicious cookie shop! I went in with my sister and a friend for a latte so that's why the only picture I have is of coffee. My sister purchased a chocolate chip cookie which I hesitantly tasted because I'm not a big cookie person. When I say that chocolate chip cookie changed my life, it was amazing. It was so good that after we walked around the garage we went back and purchased the take and bake at home chocolate chip cookies. They were just as good as what we had in the store. I am now definitely a cookie person for please & thank you chocolate chip cookies.

It's been over a year since my initial review, so I thought it was a perfect time to revisit! I opted for an iced matcha latte for a lighter caffeine boost. First thought- I appreciated that they use a proper matcha whisk and don't use a pre-made matcha mix - the matcha flavor was definitely authentic! I also appreciated that the latte wasn't overly sweet or ice heavy. However, I knocked a star off since the entire bottom of my drink had powder chunks. I'm going to assume it was just because the matcha needed to be whisked a bit more. Overall, a pleasant experience and my drink was out in less than 2 minutes!

Yum yum yum! We stopped in Please & Thank You to grab a couple cookies before a concert and were immediately welcomed by the staff. Since we'd never been there before, they were happy to give suggestions and recommendations. I got a rainbow chip cookie and my brother in law had the classic chocolate chip and the oatmeal cream pie. All three were excellent- soft baked cookies with rich flavors and the oatmeal cream almost had a gingerbread taste to it. We really enjoyed these cookies and will definitely be back.

I had no idea this existed. My sister asked me to meet her here before a 5K. It's an adorable coffee shop, right in the heart of Mass Ave. My go-to is always a chai tea latte and I really enjoyed this one!

I was given a gift card to the café "please and thank you", which is located at the end of Mass Ave right across from the Bottleworks District. A friend and I walked in 15 minutes before close. Yeah we were those people however, we just wanted a cookie. The staff were very polite and told us about what they typically serve. I ordered a sugar cookie that had yellow icing and a smiley face on top. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Also they gave us a chocolate chip cookie on the house

What can I say about Please and thank you. I was thoroughly impressed upon entry. I am a baker myself so it takes alot to impress me when it comes to a solid cookie. I went in not knowing what to expect BUT loving the anticipation that came with the unknown. The spot was extremely clean and inviting, everything very organized and welcoming.. very unique seating and a juke box which was a pleasant surprise as well. They had menus which look like newspapers. I love stickers and additional.goods to help me commemorate my visit since I junk journal so that was a plus for ne as well. Mugs and tee shirts WONDERFUL marketing. I ordered one chocolate chip cookie and one oatmeal cream pie plus a absolutely divine light green leaves tea iced.. Again I didn't know what to expect. But they earned the name that they carry. The oatmeal cream pie was so scrumptious. I could never eat one from any place else and the chocolate chip cookie melted in my mouth. It was sooooo yummy!!! It was the sea salt for me. I chatted with the staff and made it known, that this was not the last time they would see me. I will definitely be back and have been sharing about them all day. A good cookie is a good cookie and they did they big one on theirs. Already looking forward to going back and deciding what to try next..

The inside is cute but there is no seating inside. You're going to get a little messy eating your cinnamon roll and want to be in the privacy of your own home anyway. Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

That could not be more true. We both did Pick Two: I got a chicken salad sandwich and my mother got a turkey and cheese both with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. He made sure we had what we needed and kept up with us well despite being a large party with a lot of variables. Good sense of humor too! The manager was available to discuss allergy needs. I had planned not to eat because the menu isn't very inclusive for my dietary restrictions. If you are only gluten free with no other food restrictions, they have some options for you. For me, with gluten and dairy plus some other restrictions, my only option would've been a salad and I would've had to adjust it for my needs. I planned ahead of time to just have tea, and that's what I did. The tea itself was pretty good, but it came out very lukewarm, so it was disappointing. The menu says the tea pot is for 1-2, but it's very small and I'd never consider it for 2 people. I had maybe 2.5-3 tea cup refills before it was gone. For the price, I'd rather get tea elsewhere. For birthdays, they do bring you edible glitter to blow from your hand when you make a wish. It's a cute addition, whether you're a kid or grown ups like my group. The food and drinks felt overpriced to me, but I think this is one of those places where it's about the ambiance and experience more than anything. It's not somewhere I'm eager to return to, but if someone is having a celebration there, I'll prepare ahead and maybe ask for my tea to come extra hot.
