The staff, location and beach are beautiful! It's Tulum, why wouldn't it be? But this boutique is not as glamorous as Expedia makes it out to be! Do not believe their lies!
We booked and paid through Expedia, when we arrived there was huge confusion and no payment processed!
The hotel staff were pretty lost, but eventually it was resolved.
So let's start from the beginning.
When you locate the hotel, you need to walk through their narrow parking lot to get to their receptionist. The smaller bungalows are inside and the larger ones have Beach front views. It's does have a very jungle like vibe, lots of trees and mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are bad!The rooms are extremely basic: beds, closet and restroom. Here is the catch! Expedia says you can pay 30$ a day to have the AC running 24-7.. that is a lie! AC only works from 8pm - 8am! It is hot and muggy, especially during summer. Our room had lots of mosquitoes! They do not provide nets. The AC does kill them out, but they do return during the day. It did help spraying doors and windows with bug spray and ourselves.
The restrooms are very basic but do not have vents.
You will have a walk way that leads you to the beach, it does have a bar, beds and umbrellas. Finally, their restaurant food is okay.
Last, Expedia says the offer continental breakfast. It's a very sad looking breakfast. Lol one tiny egg, a few slices of bread and fruit. They will cut you off if you ask for anything more.
Their Beach is nice, but if it's seaweed season they don't have stuff that clean out like other hotels.
Location is nice, it's literally near everything and more. Party on the weekends.
I think it's cool to stay if you are on a budget, young, college students who is looking to party. It's not very family oriented. There are definitely nicer locations!
I won't stay there again, one time is good enough for me. Enjoy! read more
