needed a battery, they had put one in about 3 years go, I get there 10am told them we jumped it there is a battery problem, the lack of triage in their service drive was ridiculous, what should have been a 30 minute or less time frame to at least pop the tester on the battery and verify the problem and then check your stock didn't happen. instead I waited for over 3 hours, they forgot I was waiting for the car and called my phone I told him I'm in the waiting area he said he be right out to talk with me which too him over a half hour to do it I told him to go ahead and replace it. after another hour he came back and told me the battery needs to be ordered they didn't have one in stock, I said to him are you serious, he offered o rent car I had to ask, they were out so then I had to ask if they had a shuttle, he offered no options, then the next day when I got the car he made a remark about the aftermarket battery and that's when I knew I'd never return because I thought I was getting a genuine OEM part the last time they replaced the battery and they put an aftermarket in my car and claimed they didn't do it. it took them 3 hours to tell me the battery I needed needed to be ordered. they need to take a real close look at their past and present staff, because I thought they only used OEM parts and if they are passing aftermarket for the real thing that's just wrong especially since the previous one cost nearly 300. you gotta to better platinum Chevy read more

I drove over an hour to see a car that looked promising online, but the experience was very disappointing. The vehicle was overpriced compared to market value, and the trade-in offer I received was far below what other dealerships and tools showed. I also waited over 20 minutes for that low offer, even though it was raining, the dealership was quiet, and they had already valued my trade while I was on the test drive. There was no change to the car's price, so the delay felt unnecessary. The salesman came along for the test drive without offering to let me drive alone, which made the experience uncomfortable and rushed. Interestingly, they've since dropped the price of the car -- exactly what I expected from the start. I should have let the previous terrible ratings warn me. After driving that far, I felt my time and effort weren't respected. Do your research and avoid this dealership -- they don't seem to want to sell cars, just keep them. In a market as big and competitive as DFW, let a better place earn your business. read more

Called two weeks ago regarding a fuel pump open recall from GMC. Was told by the service advisor that they were awaiting the part, but that he would call me back when it arrived (within a few days, according to him). After over a week I called back this morning, gave my information again for a service advisor to call me back. Received no return call, and when I tried to reach out this afternoon, I was told I needed the VIN number for my vehicle, even though I had been there previously, and the last associate was able to pull up all of my information readily enough, including my callback number. Their communicaiton and levels of customer service are miserable. I understand this is a recall issue, and they make no profit on such work, but something as important as a part for the fuel pump should not be so easily brushed off. read more

My truck developed a transmission shudder at the end of 2024. The dealer said the torque converter was the problem and replaced it Everything was fine until exactly a year later when the transmission started to shudder again. I brought it back in to them the said the torque converter was bad again and replaced it under warranty. When I picked the truck up this time the transmission mission was worse than ever. My shifts were sloppy, the shudder obviously worse than when I dropped it off I took it back to them within a week of them replacing the torque converter and they said it was a enqine misfire and not related to the transmission at all When I picked it up this time the truck woula barely start it was bucking and shaking. The check engine light was now on even though it wasnt on when I dropped it off When I got home I found that the number 6 plug wire had been unplugged. I plugged it back in and the engine immediately started running like it should. Took it for a drive and the transmission shudder was still there and iust as bad as ever I ended up taking it to an actual transmission shop and they found that the dealer did not oroperly flush the transmission when they swapped the torque converter resulting in my new converter being destroyed, the oil pump being ruined, and torque converter parts were sent all through my transmission. I had to pay a new shop $5500 for a rebuild thanks tc platinum chevrolet. This was the last time I will return after a long line of problems from this shop. read more

This place is terrible. They will keep your vehicle for weeks, then offer to do several expensive unnecessary things basically nothing you brought it in for. We had our Silverado here to have the engine wiring harness replaced came to pick it up and because we didn't agree to all of the other unnecessary work they did nothing and tried to charge another diagnostic fee after we had already paid one! I bought a 2019 Cadillac XT5 from them about a year ago....they promised to fix things that they never fixed!!! (Brent Railsback). I had taken it in for an oil change and tire rotation... they called to say it was ready... I get there (1 hour drive one way)... and he said he forgot!!! WTH?? Then how was it ready??? Then they sold me an extended warranty plan, saying it was the best one they had and it covered EVERYTHING!! (They LIED!!) Less than 2 months after I bought it, I had transmission problems, took it back to them..... they called me saying warranty didn't cover the repair needed...I had to pay a $1000 for the repair out of pocket... I think they should have covered the entire cost as I hadnt even had the car for more than 2 months. Oh, and I had a loaner car, I do Surviellance for a living and was working... they call me telling me I had to bring the loaner back because they sold it!!...shouldn't sell a car that isn't even there!!! so, that was a big inconvenience and not right.... If I would have let them come get the car, they would have blown my cover for work.. they didn't care and were so RUDE!!! Brent Railsback was going through marriage issues, of course he was nice to me, as he wanted me to do surviellance on his wife.... Then he moved out... at that point he was a total D**K to me!!! Refused to even speak to me about tge repair!!!!!! Now, I'm smelling antifreeze, took it to Crest Cadillac (because I refuse to do business with crooks!), once again warranty won't cover it... it's costing me $2500 for a new radiator!!!! You couldn't pay me to do business with them!!! They totally screwed me over big time!! LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES!!!! Please BEWARE .... And DO NOT BUY A vehicle FROM THEM!!! This might be the worst service I have ever had on a vehicle. Our 3 year old Tahoe has been in the shop 1/3 of the last 6 months. Their scheduling is basically drop off your car today, even if you have an appointment and then it waits in line for diagnosis. What is the point of an appointment if it doesn't get looked at when you drop it off. Just tell them you are 2 weeks out, so drop it off in 14 days and we will look at it the next day. We are now picking up our Tahoe without a diagnosis after it has been in the shop for over 2 weeks and bringing it somewhere else. read more

My husband and I took his truck in for an oil change and tire rotation, as well as to check one of the TPMS sensors that wasn't working. We were informed that the sensor was bad and needed replacing. We decided to wait on that repair. However, when we left we noticed all the sensors were no longer working. Since we were the last appointment for the day, my husband waited until the next day to call. He was told they didn't do anything and there was nothing they could do except for him to come back in and pay for it to be fixed. Horrible customer service! My 83 year parents took their vehicle here to get a noise in the front end. He took it on Monday they said they would call in a couple days. He called on Wednesday after not hearing anything. He called back on Friday and they advised that they got busy and still had not look at it. So they just went and got it on Friday with it still not being looked at. They do not need to be given the run around in this heat. How kinds of service is this from Cadillac! Poor service beware using this location. read more

I have to give one star reluctantly as it does not allow no stars. My husband and I were shopping around for a truck. We explained in detail what we. wanted in a vehicle. The salesman goes to another lot and comes back with a truck that had everything we didn't want! We repeatedly said we were just looking and specifically told him numerous times we did not want a credit check until we found what we wanted! (We both have good to excellent credit but that's not the point.) He said they would not do one until we approved it! And they may do a soft check first! Lies! They do not have a soft check period! We kept asking to make sure they had not done one and he said he wasn't sure! If someone asks you not to do something without their permission don't do it! Well we come to find out they did a hard inquiry without our permission! Now we have to contact each credit bureau individually and hope they will remove it! Not only that I asked for our keys and they would not give up with the hard sell. He said let me go talk to him. We did not want the truck. They lowballed us on what they would give if we purchased there! Then the lowball 3,000 dollars went to highball 10,000 dollars. The truck had a minimum 15 recalls! WE WERE NOT INTERESTED! My husband said it is not what we wanted. I went inside and was ignored in the office doorway for about 5 minutes. Then he turned around and said do you want your keys. I said yes took them and left quit pissed off I might add! I hate hard sells and being lied too! Do not buy here! Go where you will be treated with respect! read more

If you buy a car or truck from platinum anything do not expect fast service especially from the Chevrolet section. I bought a used 2020 Chevrolet LTZ Duramax (12,000 miles). The Bluetooth radio and Apple CarPlay system has never worked correctly. Since this whole ordeal has started, they have kept my truck for over a month total. I finally gave up bringing it to them because I cannot afford to not have my families main mode of transportation in the shop for two weeks at a time. So now I have to live with a $75,000 truck that's radio does not work correctly. There is always an excuse about service techs being out. My father bought a GMC Denali the week before I bought my truck. It has had a problem or two and it's the same story. Always no service techs. Do not buy from this dealership and expect them to fix a problem on a brand new or barely used car within a reasonable amount of time or even fix it at all in my case. I am a pretty patient/easy to get along with guy.... but I will not be returning to buy any vehicles from any platinum dealerships. Nor will my company. read more

Staying in Mabank, TX this was the closest Caddy dealer. Needed a LED headlight which requires the bumper to be removed in order to replace. I guess if you own a Cadillac you shouldn't have to change your own light bulb. Spending a month in rural Texas you do need 2 good working headlights. It's a small service department & they also service Chevy. I had to schedule a week in advance for service. However it was done expeditiously. Very friendly service people. read more

Not the same since Platinum purchased. Pulled in service bay and waited approximately 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. Went inside with no acknowledgement like "we'll be with you in a minute." Waited a minute and left. Big Dealers need to stay out of small towns. read more

I live in Forney so it would have been much more convenient for me to do business with this Dealer, unfortunately they turned out to be the worst Cadillac Dealer that I have dealt with in N Texas & W Texas. I was told it is their policy to never give out General Motor part numbers to their customers, any nearby GMC, Cadillac dealer within 20 miles will always give you the part number to verify what they are selling. I have had honest mix ups before at any place of business and always verify part numbers before driving to a Dealer for pick up. Musser also wasted my time and my money in their service department for what Heritage GMC found to be just a faulty battery. Musser kept my Escalade and could not diagnose why it would not start, saying it was a wiring issue. The GMC dealer replaced my battery and no repeat issues. I found it very unusual and unprofessional behavior by a Cadillac Dealer to not release the part number they are wanting to sell to a person.. Shari why would a customer pay 250.00 dollars out of pocket to move his car from one dealership to another. Reason: sorry service, rude as service manager and seriously bad vibes. The car was a 2019 Corvette Z06 with less than 2,000 miles and had a dead battery. I rarely drive it so waiting until next week was not an issue. I simply asked if he could roll up my drivers window for security reasons and his response was NO I'm too busy!!! WTF would you leave 100k car unsecured and out in the weather. So I PAID to have it sent to a quality Chevrolet dealer and they put the car in doors and had it ready next day. Defective Battery. They also helped me tow charges and apologized for Musser. People drive a little further on hwy 80 and get treated correctly. I send a lot of customers to Young and there is a good reason for it. This is not my 1st awful experience with Musser, just my first time to air it out on social media read more

The sale of the vehicle went fine, but I guess they WANT to sell, the service is not so good. Had to have a repair within 3 months of purchasing, said they would notify me when part came in, I waited for 5 weeks, they never notified me, finally called, yes the part was in. Then they would NOT acknowledge me that they had a loan car, I asked several times, I live 40 miles away from dealership. I had to get someone to take me and pick me BECAUSE I was NOT offer a loan car. My family has purchased many cars over the years and every dealership, except Mussers has always went the extra mile, every dealership has always cleaned them up after repair , but NOT MUSSER.
