The man that helped us today Bill confirmed that he heard the other man Frank give us the wrong info but no one chose to call back and correct their mistake, which in my opinion is bad customer service. So we felt like we should have been charged the price we were quoted and not the additional fees and we voiced that. Bill dismissed what we were saying and got really flip about it and said the only way we would get the truck is if we stopped talking about it! Then he told my husband to shut the fuck up after he proceeded to voice the fact he was not happy with the mistake...that is UNACCEPTABLE!! I tried to get the owners information to report him but he stated that info could not be given out I even called back to ask for a manager and was told there was no manager I could speak to! I don't no if Evelyn and Wayne Williams know that thier employees are rude to customers or not but they definitely need to be made aware and I'm going to make it my business to inform them! However I would like to give a shoutout to another employee who also happens to be named Bill for being understanding and kind and very apologetic for the rudeness that we encountered. I see he understands that he works with a very racist and bigoted man I hope he does retire soon so no one else has to encounter him!!

My car app showed that the vehicle remained parked in the same spot for three hours. During that time, no one opened or closed the hood, turned the ignition on or off, or opened and shut the doors. Yet I was called and told that the car was ready for pickup, only to be told afterward that the engine warning light can only be cleared at the dealership. I took my car to another local auto repair shop, got a free scan, and they were able to pinpoint a loose connection and fix the problem. This level of service and disregard for their customers time, energy, and money, is completely unacceptable. Run! (Photos for reference) Background- So I took my car for an oil change (super expensive!) last Friday and immediately, I too, had the engine light come on as I was driving it out the parking lot and didn't think much of it and thought it will reset. The light persisted throughout the weekend and Monday after work, took it back in. I was asked to leave my car there so they can take a look at it. So here I am without my car and need to get to work. I have a bad feeling about this reading some of the other people's negative experiences on here. Scott's (and they also own Carl's) staff is already trying to deny that they did something so I will update this post with the outcome of the situation.

They will waste your time, your money, and your patience. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, when in reality they can't be bothered to lift a finger unless it's to run your card. My "repair" took weeks longer than promised, cost way more than quoted, and the car came back with NEW problems it didn't have before. When I pointed this out, they shrugged it off and tried to upsell me on even more repairs. The shop itself is a mess--looks like no one there has cared in years. Phones go unanswered, no one knows what's going on, and accountability is nonexistent. I wouldn't trust these people to check tire pressure, let alone touch a transmission. Save yourself the headache. Go literally anywhere else. Hopefully this shop can serve the city better when it gets turned into a parking lot.

Very disappointed in the work performed and condition of car upon returning it…read more I had a serious issue with my cars computers not communicating with other modules on the car making the car not drivable. This was brought on by previous shop screwing it up. Do I brought the car here and explained what happened and they assured me they would find the problem and get it fixed. After car being there over a week I went up there to check on it. The mechanic told me he had not even looked at it yet. After being there a month they told me they could not fix it. So I picked the car up and got it back in much worse condition. The interior panels has been pulled and just left in the floor the new blower motor wires had been taken apart and left hanging. The mechanic and service manager were arguing and cussing in front of us. When we were trying to put things under the hood back in place to try to start the car the mechanic told us we had to leave the shop area now and they would push the car outside. They left the car at the edge of their parking lot entrance. Many interior panels left in the floor and several under the hood parts left in disarray. Car had to be towed home. I do not recommend anyone taking their car here for anything complicated. It's one thing to not be able to fix a car but after a month and getting the car back in much worse condition is bullshit.
