The ice cream is delicious, I literally come once a week to get ice cream BUT, if you order an ice cream be prepared to wait a long time .... I'm not sure if they are making the ice cream fresh to order or not but it seriously shouldn't take this long to scoop ice cream into a cup or cone .... If they can work on working a bit quicker they could get 5 star. This guy literally waited atleast 20 min for a shake.... I ordered after, not sure how soon after but I e been here 20 min! Oh and they didn't get his order right (facepalm) I wouldn't come here with the kids read more

Delicious ice cream. Mint chocolate crunch and donkey tracks were amazing. The cones are not home made. The ice cream was a bit melty. Perhaps 3 scoops on a large cone is too ambitious. Otherwise very good. read more

I've been hearing from my family about how great this ice cream is, so I was a little nervous that my expectations were too high and the ice cream wouldn't live up to the hype. Well, it absolutely lived up to the hype, and was worth the almost 1-year wait to try it! I I had the peanut butter explosion, which is a peanut butter lover's dream. Not only was it a delicious base ice cream, but it had a generous amount of the mix-ins, and every bite was truly an explosion of flavor. I also had a chance to taste a family member's black raspberry ice cream which was phenomenal. I can't wait for my next visit to CT to go back. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I went here last night after searching for top ice cream locations near me. After finding this location, my family and I decided to give it a shot. We all ordered something different and all were greatly surprised with how good the ice cream was. To be honest, it was truly one of our favorite ice cream places that we have ever had. I definitely recommend this location and will be back. read more

We are so lucky to have this great family business in Trumbull. All of their products are excellent but their oatmeal raisin & chocolate chip cookies and ice creams are my favorite. The coffee shop is an added bonus and has a very warm atmosphere to it. Add a friendly and helpful staff and you've got a real home run!!! read more

Great for kids and family alike. My problem with this place is that after spending over $40, my 6 year old wanted a small cup of water and they charged us $0.75 for tap water. I found that petty, unethical and not good business. read more

Great ice cream. Terrible service. Very disappointed. Waited for over an hour. The order was wrong. Also watched how one worker scraped off an ice cream cone in to the garbage and reused it because he messed it up. Twice. Eww Not worth it. read more

Driving around Trumbull and we discovered this treasure. By far one of the best Ice Cream we have ever had. This place is so secluded that you can drive past it and potentially miss the best Ice Cream in your life. How do you take my word for it? History

Established in 1952.

Plasko's Farm originated in 1925 by the first generation immigrants from Czechoslovakia, Martin and Mary Plasko. Martin was only 16 when he arrived to the United States. He worked on an Oyster boat in Norwalk for about 10 years before saving enough money to buy the land in Trumbull where he and his wife Mary would raise their family. The farm was continued by the next generation, John and Pauline Plasko. They established the 8-acre farm on Daniels Farm Road in 1952, as well as 20 acres of additional farmland. In 1997, John and Pauline Plasko, along with the third generation, John Plasko Jr., rebuilt and expanded the farm to not only its original purpose of farming sweet corn and other produce, but also to include a full nursery, country store & bakery.
