I'm not exactly sure what happened to Planet Wings. This used to be my number one go-to place for greasy, fat food. I could never turn it down. Now I'll only get it if there are no other options and I'm starving. The food is very hit or miss lately. I don't even bother with the Philly Cheesesteak which I used to absolutely love. Their fries are still pretty good. Curly fries are my favorite. The last time I had their wings they were way too bland. The sauce is the main component; it should be flavorful! The chicken tacos are OK but again not very flavorful. They do have really good blue cheese with definitely earns them plenty of brownie points with me. As I've already stated. I have an irrational love for blue cheese. One more thing about this place that I've noticed which is just totally bizarre. All the meals come with a drink and I'll usually order a diet coke. There is a couple of things I enjoy about planet wings. My all time favorite is Chicken Quesadillas, they are delish! I occasionally order the philly cheesesteak but have to ask for extra cheese otherwise they are cheap for what the point of cheesesteak suppose to be. The burritos are good, The tacos I've ordered a couple of times but the ground beef was ice cold and cold chopmeat is not a delightful taste! For a place that suppose to be all about the wings, I do not enjoy them! I guess their bone-in wings are probably better but I always ordered boneless and I found the wings menu to be pricey such as, 10 wings for $10.99, yes they do have a large variety of different flavors, but I find them to be swimming in sauce and overcooked and dry. I do enjoy their grilled chicken salad and montero ranch grilled chicken wrap. The best thing about planet wings is that you can order online through their website and I never had a problem with the delivery man never showing, he has come every single time and you receive confirmation emails when it is being prepared and out for delivery. Overall, planet wings will continue to be a dinner option on my list! I was going to give them 3 stars but their lack of customer accommodation costs them that extra star. So, I ordered 10 wings ($7.49) and when I ask if I can get half in one sauce and half in another I'm told they can't do that.
