I've had my share of Korean fried chicken and I'd put this place up there with all of them. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Greeted with a smile once we walked in. Everything's made-to-order, so don't expect grab-and-go fast food. Food was still steaming by the time we made it home. The chicken tasted seasoned to the bone. We tried about 3 sauces and really loved them all. We thought the soy honey and sweet & spicy gave a really nice tang to the chicken, without being too overpowering. As someone who lived in Ktown LA for a while, this was some of the best KFC I've had in my life and beats most of the restaurants I've had in ktown. The chicken was so juicy and fresh, even the tenders, and it had the right amount of crisp without being overly battered. I got the soy garlic and sweet and spicy, and both sauces were really tasty and had me wishing I got extra for dipping. The sweet and spicy was definitely my fav, but it could have been more spicy. The box for the family set was so sturdy and nice, and the amount of food you get for the price is incredible. Even the fries that come with the set were nice and crispy without being overly greasy. The employee at the front was also so nice and welcoming. My expectations were nonexistent going into this since food options on the island have been a little bleak, but I'm absolutely blown away and will absolutely be a regular. read more

They have a huge selection of sauces for the chicken, and pieces include wings, drums, and thighs. I got the combo a which comes with 4 pieces of chicken of your choice, fries, and a soda. The soy garlic and honey garlic were really good, but the chicken could be crispier. They have two floors, the first floor for ordering and the second for eating in. Chick'n Go, let's go! The one-and-only KOREAN fried chicken joint in Staten Island (there used to be a Bonchon but closed 10 years ago). Not only does it have Korean style flavors but also Japanese (Kare Hot). They serve a unique spice flavor sweetened with strawberry for their Sweet and Spicy sauce. The flavor is tasty as well as unique. I was their 4th or 5th customer and their service was very friendly and attentive. The Kare Hot flavor was good too, but the curry sauce unfortunately made the chicken less crispy. I'm happy there's a Korean fried chicken spot in town and I am looking forward to ordering many wings and drumsticks from them in the near future! Located on the main boulevard with convenient parking right out front, it was easy to get in and out. The staff were friendly and took our order promptly. Despite a short wait, the food arrived quickly and was clearly made to order. We headed upstairs to enjoy our meal and were blown away by the crunch, seasoning, and flavor. This isn't fast food--it's good food! We tried their Curry Mild & Sweet and Spicy flavors in the 16-piece chicken set, which included wings, drums, thighs, and tenders, all perfectly cooked. The extra sauce on the side, along with radish and fries, was a great touch. We frequent this neighborhood often, and this place is a gem. It's well-lit, clean, and welcoming. Was happy to finally see a Korean fried chicken in the area. The staff are all so friendly and nice. I believe it was the owner who came upstairs to the dining area to give us spicy cucumbers and daikon. I got the 10 piece wings and got my garlic honey on the side as recommended. The wings did take a while to come out. It was nice and crispy. The flavor was lacking even with the sauce. There wasn't really any strong flavors from the batter.Maybe it was best to just have it tossed in the sauce. I also tried a non traditional Korean friend chicken sauce. This is the best fried chicken I've had on Staten Island. Crunchy and well-seasoned, and with good sauces. I especially liked the Wasabi Salt & Pepper, where the sauce gets baked under the skin of the chicken. Service was warm, making me feel like a welcome guest in someone's home. (I guess that makes sense since it appears to be a family business.) Packaging for my party box was neat. There were little holes in the boxes to keep the chicken crispy. First Korean fried chicken spot i know on the island. I'm so happy this place is so good !!!! The girl at the counter is always so sweet !! So easy to talk to and very friendly. I ordered the combo A with honey garlic sauce on the side. And asked for the garlic dusting on the side for an extra charge. I asked for all thighs but I've ordered two legs and two thighs before. The fried chicken itself is so good, very hot and fresh. Every order comes with hand wipes which is very considerate since hands get dirty with fried chicken around. They also include the pickled radish which is always so refreshing with KFC. I dined in this time. They have seating area upstairs, very spacious. The girl asked for a name while we sat upstairs and called us when it was ready. They have a restroom upstairs but I couldn't use it because of the window placement (right next the the toilet) and there was a guy working right outside.
