I ordered a Gyro Platter with Lamb. According to the menu it supposedly comes with a "Greek Salad". In what part of Greece do they use whole chunks of broccoli and diced stalks of string beans? Where are the olives, onions, peppers, & stuffed grape leaf?! Even after removing the offending items, which easily made up 60% of the entire platter, the food still had a lingering taste and odor of broccoli. I'm a city worker who just worked for 17 hours straight with no breaks. All I wanted was a simple and quick, buy-and-go, meal to have during the 5 hours before my next shift and I couldn't have been more disappointed. This place has gone downhill; never again. read more

Me being silly didn't check before that they were closed on a weekday‍ So I start walking & looking for a place to eat because I was hungry! Finally found this place . It's beautiful, clean & the stuff & the owner were wonderful. They also let me know that their chicken items are halal. So I tried had to try that. When the food came I have realized portion of food was a lot , which I would not be able to finish. The dessert & coffee was great. The price of the food was great considering the amount of food I get. No complaints, I wish it was near my house. Takes me a long time to go there from where I live. I order from here constantly my bill is always over 150 so it's not like I order a little dinner. With one meal I always order a baked potato last night I told the them on the phone they always forget my sour cream, they said I'll personally pack the bag ok so I ordered it again, my other meal I always get extra meat at a extra charge and I knew there wasn't extra meat because the fries were in the same tray usually they are separate because of the extra meat it doesn't fit together. It reminds me of my old Bay Ridge Diner haunts. They really know how to put the entries together. Having said that, just last night I tried the pork chops with portobello mushrooms, which came with vegetables and a baked potato! I have to say it was probably one of the most delicious entrées I have had in quite a while! It was even better than some of the top restaurants I've been to in Brooklyn and Manhattan! This is obviously a neighborhood diner that is freqented by locals and truck drivers. You will see everyone greet each other as you are walking down the aisles. Just left this place and I am glad it is in my rear view mirror. First, I get eggs adorned with a hair that looked like it came off the tail of a German Shepard. Wondered in tonight while at work was starving came alone, I always knew this was the best diner on the island just don't come here enough. Did a meat lovers omelette and it was huge and overstuffed.
