    Grill Chicken Wrap
    Joseph L.

Restaurant quality food in a park. Honestly, the pictures don't do the food justice. Super delicious and juicy sausage and pepper. The grilled chicken wrap is phenomenal and has had me coming back. The mozzarella sticks, and fries in particular, are also top tier and I would definitely recommend them. The Italian ices are also well worth it and are served in generous portions. The service is also amazing. The owner Gennaro is the life of the party and makes everyone feel welcome.

Went here for a single burger and a bottle of water. They charged me over $15. Had to wait 20 minutes for the burger but then it was served on a moldy bun. The manager replaced the bun with a fresh one and gave me a refund. The prices here are far too high. Snug Harbor should be ashamed of themselves for having a place like this that is outrageously expensive to their visitors.

Ordered fish and chips and it was amazing! Owners are super sweet and service was great.

    Atmosphere

The new owners are amazing and very nice. The Italian ice is perfect for a hot day and I definitely recommend to anyone walking by. If you're looking for something hot, try the sausage and pepper sandwich. Even if it's hot out it's with savoring every bite. Once you get your food make sure to enjoy the beautiful greenery and atmosphere in the beautiful weather.

Nice place in a beautiful locale. The owners are polite enough. The selection is good. So are the prices. You're not going here to get blown away with a great meal. You're going here to get something to knosh on while you walk around Snug Harbor.

    Burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc.

Puny, overcooked burger. No fries, not even a Cole slaw or pickle with it. Two hot dogs and a soda, $14. Disappointing.

(And that ATM machine at the corner? It looks like it'll not only steal your identity but your soul as well.) My last visit (2023-ish) I tried their 'combo' (one hot dog, one sausage) which was... okay. But when they're slinging a double Italian hot dog? They're firing on all cylinders. Tommy's is not shy to pile a wicked amount of grub into that pizza bread. The hot dogs kind of get lost under a mountain of deep-fried and oily (but delicious) sliced spuds. (I do wish they weren't so stingy with the peppers and onions to really balance out the meal.) The 'Holy Trinity' when it comes to Italian hot dogs in North Jersey is a no-brainer... Dickie Dee's, Jimmy Buff's and Tommy's. (For me - no one comes close to Dickie Dee's but my one kid said Tommy's was his [current] fave.) As for that couple that came cashless? A good Samaritan behind me pulled out a wad of cash (it's not wise to pull out a fistful of cash anywhere you go but it's ESPECIALLY not wise when you're in the rough and tumble streets of Elizabeth, let's be real) and after swapping Venmo information everything was a-okay. Take-out/to-go only. Parking is atrocious. Guy behind the glass - always aces. (Oh, and... cash only!)

I've had the sausage/dog combo before that's like an Italian Dog and I loved it but I had never just had some good old doggies here so I grabbed a couple. Went with 1 with red onions and mustard and 1 with chili, diced onion, and mustard. I love red onions, just a big nostalgia thing to my youth getting dogs in Coney Island at Nathan's. These onions were tasty. The chili wasn't what I was expecting but the crunch from the diced onion was welcomed. The rolls tasted fresh and the dogs had a fantastic snap and delicious flavor. No surprise here - Tommy's - Didn't Suck!

While food took awhile, we were no in a rush and the employees were friendly. The crif burger and New Yorker were too basic for me, but I enjoyed the elote topping for the elote dog. The tots were a nice side to pair with your meal. There's nothing like some hot dogs and burgers before/after drinking, so it's a smart pairing being next to all the bars. Would I come here solely for the hot dogs and burgers? Probably not. But it works great together with PDT.

The crif is pork and beef, New Yorker (all beef) and veggie option. I did a New Yorker (all beef) $4.75 with sauerkraut ($0.75) and the Spicy Redneck which featured a bacon wrapped crif dog with chili, coleslaw and picked jalapeños. Both satisfied the hot dog craving I had. There are also tater tots and burgers available. The bread was a bit stale, hence the 3 stars and the bun split on my New Yorker making it messy to eat. The woman behind the counter was friendly and suggested I try the dog featured this month- featuring a fried pickle or the Tsunami which has teriyaki sauce and pineapples. I would stop here again if in the area, but for basic dog a cart will hit the spot.

As I said, despite it being called Boulevard Drinks, the hot dogs are the real stars here and should definitely not be missed. Go with their chili as a topping. The knishes are also good. But do to the dept of health it was no longer aloud to be pumped from the tanks But the drink is still really great. I love this place. Out of three hot dog places this one survived and thank god. Service is always great, ambiance its a hotdog place its perfect the way it is. Back in the day you used to get a drink and hotdogs 24 7 always had crazy people at night always action. Very entertaining trust me. Everyone stopped here before heading to Lowe's theater grabbed dogs and ate before the Godzilla movie started or a Disney movie or a martial arts movie. I can tell you every seat me and my mom use to sit in movie theater $1.75 movie ticket I miss those days alot but when ever i want to go back in time i just go grab a dog and a drink sit and go back in time 55 years as a customer and still going to get my dogs and drink. I remember nick and Raymond they were great friend of my dads they use to work there. This place is what makes the square the square without it; it would just be a dump.
