We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my friend last night at Seabass Taverna. To start, we had their homemade hummus and fried zucchini chips. For main courses, grilled branzino, grilled sardines, and lamb chops, accompanied by salad and roast lemon potatoes. For dessert, a halva pudding. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service by Halil was outstanding. We will definitely be going back!

New restaurant, decor is beautiful. Food is Mediterranean with a Greek Vibe. Service was excellent and they have a parking lot in the back. Food is fresh. Absolutely loved it.

I absolutely loved my meal at Seabass Taverna on New Dorp Lane. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home with truly excellent service. Every dish was fantastic, but the fresh branzino and the grilled octopus were real standouts. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing new place! They have a great special that you can try almost everything for $50 a person they were so kind and everything was delicious!! A must try

I *had* to see what their endless menu was all about. At $49 per person (and an additional $22pp for endless drinks), the selection, quality, value, and service were incredible. I love trying unique seafood dishes as much as I like playing the classics, and this place has something for everyone. And since the dishes are essentially served family-style, it's so easy to try a little bit of everything. Let me cut to the chase: in a party of 3, my table ordered 26 different dishes, from starters to entrees to desserts. The portions are perfectly sized to be shareable, and the staff was extremely kind and personable, explaining how the endless menu works, describing dishes, and even offering second servings. There were no misses. My favorites were the New England clam chowder, grilled octopus, oyster rockefeller, crab cake, penne vodka shrimp, linguine white clam, and frutti di mare. Even the chicken francaise and angus hangar steak were very worthy choices! Can't recommend this spot enough. Definitely worth a visit (or several)!

Interior design is so aesthetically pretty and provides a wonderful and elegant dining experience!…read moreThe service provided by Behrouz was attentive, friendly, and warm, which definitely helped enhance the dining experience! Now onto the main topic, the food: This is by far one of the better middle eastern/seafood restaurant in all of Staten Island! The appetizers that were amazing were the chargrilled octopus, which is a MUST-GET, and the half dozen oysters which was by far one of the sweetest oysters we ever had (it was so good we ordered 3 orders!) The tuna tartare, calamari, and lobster bisque were all decent but nothing too special. For entree, the lobster pasta was perhaps one of the best tomato based pasta I ever had! Although the amount of lobster in the dish was on the smaller amount for its price, the flavor was so savory, sweet, and perfectly tangy, highly recommend it! The sea bass was good according to my family, but the flavor was on the milder side in my opinion; they liked it nonetheless so perhaps it's just a personal preference at this point. The lamb shank I would not get due to how overpowering it was; the sauce was salty and intense, where it overwhelmed every part of the dish. It was unfortunate because the lamb was so tender and had a nice proportion between its meatiness and its fat content. The dry aged steak was only okay too, since the spinach was so watery it soaked the steak in its liquid (as you can see from the photo), which detracted from the dish unfortunately. Overall it was a decent dining experience, where some were amazing and others were less so. It's a pricey dining experience but if you get all the right dishes, it's worth the price tag! Definitely recommend giving Sea Bar a try and I can't wait to come back again one day to give them the five stars I know they can definitely accomplish! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Sas efcharistó, this cute Greek vibe was a hit, came for my birthday dinner close to closing and…read morethe waiter BEHROUZ treated us like gold. all his recommendations were excellent (they have an amazing $50 prefix menu great with options). They offered hummus and bread--super fresh. Ohhh, Get the lobster bisque it had the biggest pieces of lobster I've ever seen in lobster bisque!!! The calamari were cooked to perfection. They had the grilled watermelon salad and beets apps also delicious . Bronzino that was given was a hearty amount. The drinks were on point. They sang happy birthday and even though the kitchen was closed they made sure we didn't feel rushed or pressured. Can't wait to come try more and to get the soup again. See you there
