My sister and I were celebrating our dear friends b'day. So we decided to surprise her with a nice dinner. We decided on Italian food so the obvious choice was Corrado's Cucina . This place is tremendous and the ambiance is really cozy .. the thing about this place was that we had a lot of space around us and didn't feel confined . Even with a packed house . The service was on point... our waiter was very friendly and was very accommodating on our needs . I told the waiter that we were celebrating a bday and told me not to worry about it . We knew we were in good hands . We ordered some specialty drinks and they were so delicious and they had enough liquor in them.... They weren't weak drinks . We order some appetizers and everything was hot and delicious. Then to our main course it did not disappoint... the portions are very large and everything was cooked to perfection! We couldn't eat it all because of the fact that we had so much already ... the whipped ricotta doused with honey with fresh bread ... was the highlight from the beginning. Overall we all enjoyed ourselves.. All the waiters and staff came out to sing Happy Bday to my friend who was embarrassed but overall overjoyed ... we had a spectacular night!!! Yesterday my family celebrated a graduation and Corrado's was the perfect place for the party! The service was outstanding. Paul made sure our glasses were always full and kept the food coming. I visited this restaurant last night with my family, who were visiting from another country and were excited to try good Italian food and we were not disappointed. We arrived right on time and were greeted warmly, then seated just a few moments later. The atmosphere was immediately inviting; the entire restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a festive and cozy vibe. The only downside was the absence of a menorah or any acknowledgment of other holidays something I wish they had included, because it's not always just about Christmas. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Before our meal even arrived, a passing waiter graciously offered us a sample of their rice balls, and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and it was such a nice touch of hospitality. I ordered a lychee martini, which came out perfectly chilled and incredibly refreshing. For dinner, I had the skirt steak cooked to absolute perfection and my cousin really enjoyed her beautiful, fresh pizza. I'm honestly so happy I finally gave this place a try. It's just a stone's throw from my home, within walking distance, and now I know what a gem it is. The restaurant was completely packed, yet the atmosphere was full of life: people laughing, talking, and engaging with each other. I didn't see anyone sitting glued to their phone, which was refreshing and added to the warm, communal feel of the evening. I will definitely be returning with my family. Beautiful building with a modern and comfortable design offering a moderate menu of traditional Italian dishes. The service was attentive however a bit slower on a not too busy lunchtime crowd. We wanted to try the lunch menu but the only way was to choose from the pre-fix menu for $35 per person or the regular menu. Which was very overpriced for a lunch meal and for the selections. Overall the food was good, the pizza was brick oven style but bland in regard to the cheese and sauce. Just didn't hit the marks we were hoping for. The seafood option my wife tried was prepared well and flavorful however it was a very small in portion size (3 shrimp and a side salad). Reminder this was $35 per person. Large dining area with fast service and good food and wine. My Lobster Ravioli left me wanting more. My partner's Crab Stuffed Shrimp was delicious! The Sangiovese was the perfect combination. Reservations are limited to an hour and fifteen minutes, but they try to push you out in 45 minutes. Not the place to have a relaxed dinner. Service is about getting your order, giving you your order, and getting you out of here! Good food and entertainment that make you want to come, with service that tries to get you out of here! Parking: horrendous Inside restaurant: nice atmosphere Servers: mostly non English speakers Food: very good Note: Staff is rushed, I saw a non English speaking male drop the tongs on the floor in front of the pizza oven and he picked them up and used the dirty tongs to take bread out of the pizza oven and placed bread in a serving basket - I went over and told him that tongs need to be washed but he didn't understand English, so I told the pizza maker who was right there who told the guy in Spanish to throw out the bread and wash the tongs. This is our new disgusting world we are living in with so many illegals in the USA. They may work hard but this is not a third world country we're living in! read more

This is a chain restaurant. Food was not cooked fresh . We ordered 2 appetizers they came out immediately and same with our entrees. Food was already cooked and the cutlets were rounded from a service food. So disappointing. got there at 6:30 already food on table and finished main meal by 7....we were looking at ourselves saying how the hell is the food coming so quickly. so funny. Decided to give this place a try and was very satisfied. The grilled octopus was delicious 10/10, and the pizza was fantastic. The dough was perfectly combo of crispy, soft, and light. Drinks, apps we ordered, and pizza were great!! The entrees left a lot to be desired. Short rib pasta (cavatelli I believe) from the "daily special" menu was extremely overcooked. Skirt steak was a bit chewy and the brown sauce was unnecessary. Someone ordered the sea bass and it smelled very fishy. Not sure if the kitchen just had an off day but really wished the entrees were as good as the apps. read more

The food here was delicious! The chicken parm was a great portion size & absolutely delish. The appetizers of baked clams and fried calamari were delicious too but I'd say they the calamari needed to be crispier, it was chewy. The staff were phenomenal and very accommodating to our large table of 8 guests. I would say this restaurant is very overpriced and I think it's ridiculous you can't park your own car. The traffic that backs up on Arthur Kill Road is crazy and is going to cause an accident since the valet line gets long. I feel you should be able to park your own car. Me and my wife decided to share the chicken parm and was shocked that both our plates were full even though they let us split it. Apps were great , the bread superb, focaccia awesomeand it came with a side of whipped ricotta . Waiter was excellent and a gentleman, didn't catch his name, was a young Spanish kid with glasses but couldn't have been more polite and attentive . For the main had lamb chops and veal chop (bone in) Lamb chops were outstanding. Got them medium, perfect cook the sauce was delicious for balance. Literally would come back for the lamb. A+++ Veal chop was breaded (I didn't realize it was) however, delicious nonetheless. Very hearty, huge serving not dry at all. Just go easy on the apps if you're gonna take this on. So yes I took half of it home because it was that good. So A+ Finished with tartufo for wife's birthday, they sung for very, very nice. Because is it really a birthday dinner for your spouse if you don't have strangers' singing along? Anyway, like I said solid spot, would go again. Our appetizers were very disappointing; Beef Wellington puffs looked amazing but the meat was cold inside, fried calamari very chewy. Went here last night to celebrate my dad's birthday and Mother's Day. The place was packed with Communion parties (including one in the private room) and what looked like people just dining out. Although we were early, we were seated promptly. It was a bit challenging to navigate to our seats, given to how crowded the restaurant was. We were given a rice ball appetizer gratis which I thought was really nice. Our waitress, Brenda, greeted us right away and was wonderful. The food and desserts were really, really good and plentiful, leaving us with several take our bags. It was my dads's 81st birthday and they brought out his desert with a sparkle, played the Happy Birthday song and sang happy birthday to him! Brenda was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Despite how busy the restaurant was, we felt attended to. The only caveat was having to walk in between people (who couldn't really make themselves room for us) as we walked to our table. Wanted to try this new restaurant however it did not live up to the hype. We ordered some appetizers including fried calamari which was under breaded and not crispy. Baked clams were good. I ordered the Cacio e peppe which tasted like jarred alfredo sauce. The rigatoni was ok with the sauce being decent and the pasta itself overcooked. The service was good if not a little overbearing with people coming by to wipe down our table multiple times with a wet cloth as we ate, leading to wet shirts. To the management/owners defense they did take the cacio e peppe off the bill as I only had 2 bites of it and offered a free dessert which we did not take. However that is not enough to make me go back there when there are so many options for good Italian food nearby. read more
